Thanks for the questions. I posted the following on another thread about Mobile marketing but I feel it really does a good job of addressing your questions.

First off SMS or Mobile Marketing is Opt-in. You have a marketing method, say for example, a table tent at a local eatery. On the table tent it says something like:

"Join our VIP club and get 10% off your next meal with us. Simply text "VIPEATS" to 78569 to receive your Confirmation and Discount Coupon."
So the person sitting there says "Hey that's a good deal and they go ahead and join. Immediatly after texting they receive a response asking them to confirm that they have signed up for the VIPEATS club, he sends a text back to confirm and then another text comes Saying "Congratulations and welcome to the Club. Here is your 10% off coupon. Please show it to your Server"

So that person saw an add with an incentive attached to it to join a list, he took action and double confirmed he wanted to join. On every text he gets there is also removal instructions at the end of the text. Stating simply to text "STOP" to be removed at any time.

So the person uses his coupon get's 10% off and leaves happy. A couple of days later he get's another text letting him now about another discount or special event to entice him to return to the business and be a repeat customer. Again he has the option to be removed from the list with each email.

If done right and not abused i.e. a new text every 10 mins for example. You can build a loyal list of customers or contacts or perspective clients etc... And none of them where spammed and they can all get off the list at anytime. The regulatory laws in the U.S. are very strickt and for good reason.

Sms Mobile Marketing has been growing every year since it's introduction into the market. The industry projections thru 2012 are for exponential growth. Right now there are more cell phone users than people with computers.

Basically one of 2 ways. First you can offer the service yourself, as in like you are the provider. You sign up for our service and then sell your services as a Mobile Marketer. You have 5 keywords, so you can go to the local dry cleaners and set up a mobile marketing campaign for him. His customers see an advertisement with a call to action to text "wirehangers" to 41513 and then they receive a 10% discount coupon sent to their phone. A week later you send out another message to them for a 2-4-1 shirt cleaning offer, thus bringing in more customers that week and possibly generating new customers.
Since you have 5 keywords, now you can go to a local restaurant and sell the service to that owner and then the same thing for the other 3 keywords. Then once you are rolling you can purchase more keywords or simply take "wirehangers" and add any word to it(secondary Keyword) For example "wirehangers vip" for one drycleaner and then "wirehangers west" or any second word you want to add, the options are limitless. So you can use one Primary Top Level Keyword for an entire industry and just add different secondary keywords for each client. Great for realtor offices.
The second way to sell the service is as one of our affiliates.

Ok, with the service you get 5 top level keywords. Those are the words that a person would text to a specific 5 digit number called a shot code. Each keyword that is chosen is similar to a domain name in that once someone gets that keyword, no one else using the service can use that keyword. So if you chose as one of your keywords "drycleaners" then no one else using our service could use that keyword. Once it's taken it's gone.
As a subscriber to our service you can pick 5 keywords. Once picked they are yours. If a drycleaner in your area was to want to do Mobile Marketing, then you could act as the cunsultant for that drycleaner and you would manage and run his mobile marketing campaigns. You could charge him $x dollars per month for the service. The service you would provide is allowing him to use one of your keywords, i.e. "drycleaners" for his marketing material. You would create ads for him for newspaper or a placard in his window, on his business cards or for flyers on a local bulletin board or how ever else you where assisting him in marketing his drycleaning company.
SO he signs up and you use the keyword "drycleaners" in all of ads and colateral materials. You charge him for managing the account for him. For example. You and only you have access to your Mobile Marketing account with us. So you login to the admin panel, you set up the text messages, you schedule future marketing messages to be sent out and provide him with the copy to use in his ads.
You are a marketing consultant that is providing a service for him. He has the rights to that keyword, for as long as he does business with you and you can charge him what ever you want for the keyword and your services. So of your five keywords available to you,, you have used one for "drycleaners" and have gotten an account that is going to do mobile marketing and use the word "drycleaners" Now you have 4 other keywords that you have yet to choose. You can now go to a realtors office and sell your services to them. Your next keyword could be "homes" or "Remax" or "homeinfo" it could be the realtors name "jim" or "lisa"
Are you getting it now? You can purchase more keywords from us at a nominal cost after you are using all five of your keywords. So you see you pay us $27.00 per month for the service and the first 5 keywords and then you can consult with local businesses and offer the service yourself. They won't even know we are here. They will only interact with you, you will be the mobile marketing provider in their eyes.

He can either wait for them to call him or he can call them and ask if they would like more info or see the car. Or you can have an addon service with the dealer and your text message has a clickable link to a .mobi site where the texter can see a pic of the car, or get directions or get more info without speaking to anyone.
The .mobi thing is a whole other post, so don't worry to much about that right now. The point is the classified ad cost a lot less to run and you are able to catch the phone number of everyone who showed real interest.
I know I have strayed a bit off course here but there really is so much that you can do with Mobile Marketing.

Can you touch on the mobili websites feature? Am I able to auto create a site for each client through the back end? I am assuming you will continue to provide your expert advice on getting us off the ground with this, in terms of reselling stand point?

Do you offer flat rate plans, as I know some providers offer this now and I can this as a very good marketing angle. These are true SMS not email to text.

How will "my clients" have access to the numbers collected?

You keep shooten me questions and I'll keep answering them.

Ok, the drycleaners is your customer. You can manage his account and service it in any number of ways. First, yes, you can have the account set up in advance by using the message scheduler. With the scheduler, you can pre-set your message campaign with the exact date and time you want the message to be sent. You can also pick and choose who on the list the message goes to or send it to all of them.

For example: You set up the initial text message for new sign ups. It welcomes them and offers a discount coupon or what ever. Next you can have the system set up to send a another message a week later. Then you can have another message that goes out five days later with another coupon. Then skip a week and then hit em again with another offer like 2-4-1 shirts etc... Additionally you can add, edit or delete messages at any time. So in theory with a really simple account you could set up all the messages and promotions for 1-month to 2 years in advance and make changes when ever the business owner wanted to.

Another way to service the account is weekly contact with the owner. What are his business goals for that week? Is it to bring in new clients or to offer a special to exhisting ones? Does he want to offer a new service or announce the opening of a new location? Thru emails or phone calls or face to face you can learn what he or she is trying to accomplish that week and then develope a marketing plan to acheive that goal.

Develope the promotion or special and then create the text for the message. Lastly, create new vehicles for the campaign to get the word out about the text campaign. i.e. place an add in the local newspaper with text "wirehanger" to 41513 to get an extra 10% off! or a sign for his store front, or a placard that goes on the counter. You may ask, if the owner is going to run and ad or hang a sign or do a placard why would people need to send the text? Couldn't the ad just have a coupon that they bring in? Well ads cost money and the more ad space the more money. Plus we are building a list here, not just looking for one shot customers. With the list we build loyalty and provide extra value not given to the non-list public.

So to answer the question directly, if the business owner wants to run a marketing text RIGHT NOW! All they would have to do is call or email you with what they want, you set it up and click send. Message sent.

As for the .mobi sites. The .mobi developer is very basic. You can add extra text, ad images and make the interactive experience a little richer. There are much better .mobi builder products out there that are filled with more fatures and whistles and bells. Ours does a basic job. Also it is very simple and easy to use.

Flat rate plans, it's true that there are a couple of other services out there that are offering unlimited text messages. I believe another is featured here on the forum as well. The difference between those type of services and ours is as follows: with the unlimited text message companies, individuals have to text 2 words. The main keyword is the companies top level keyword then they allow you to use any second level keyword. For example, the main companies keyword is "tellall" so when running a campaign users would have to text "tellall xyz" to 368266 you would only have control over the secondary keyword. You would have to use whatever the main keyword of the company was. Makes branding a little harder. Also the number to text to is 6 characters instead of our 5.

Also those messages go out when you send them. There is no message calender or scheduler. So if you wanted a message to be sent at 4:45 in the afternoon, you would have to hit send at 4:44-4:45 in the afternoon. The other services are great for people with huge lists and are so concerned about setting up messages ahead of time.

You will be the only one with access to the numbers on the list. Your agreement with members of the list is only that you are allowed to send them marketing text messages. So you would not be able to call them on the phone for example. Howevere, I have clients in the real estate business and they send a secondary text asking if an agent can phone them. In this example the real estate office is my client and is the one managing the account, they are not paying for a service from a consultant. When someone sends a text it bounces through the platform, set's them up on the list, but then also sends a message to the realtor of a perspective client. The realtor gets the reply text agreeing to having a client call and from the road the agent can call the home hunter.

We don't have a bounce back feature as in the way that others are using it. What we do have is the message calender and the scheduler. So one someone sends an initial text the first of the marketing emails is automatically sent out and they are placed in the que for the next messages in the sequence.
