No they do not use our script - we got the idea to do this after seeing their traffic skyrocket due to changing to a Pinterest format.

They are NOT WordPress based.

You can NOT replicate running a membership site like they do on WordPress ... but letting users register and post is an inbuilt function in WordPress - so it is possible but only within WP limits

We build this theme to mimic Pinterest in order to gain the benefits mentioned - not to be able to run a competing site.

If you want to run a true Pinterest site you are looking a whole other budget for script, server and not to mention legal battle.

As for our theme - there is no SEO difference in using this compared to any other WP theme (in other words its very SEO friendly)

Yep definitely more modules coming soon (already working on some), and I have added CJ and Google to the customer's "wish list"

And yes the plugin will work in all other themes too... However since it was made for PinPress the output may not look as good in some themes (but that's down to testing on your end).

One thing though - the "Post From Link" is a unique PinPress feature, other themes will not know what to do with that value (so turn that off in other themes)

This is simply amazing stuff, what an excellent thing to do. Such a clean / nice looking theme and with the (OTO) plugin i cant wait to watch the $$ roll in.

The theme and plugin were easy to install and the video's have some excellent information in them to show you the ropes.

Not sure what you mean by "create a link from your blog"? ... this is a WordPress theme you use on on your blog.

As for your other question... Yes and no - While your blog will look, feel and work like Pinterest, it was designed to mimic Pinterest to give you more traffic, clicks and sales - not to allow you to run a social site with members. Of course letting user register and post on your blog is an inbuilt function in WordPress (for all themes), so within the limits of WordPress the theme does support running a full scale social networking site.

You can enable sidebars in the theme to use for Adsense - and you can also use Adsense in the posts - so yes this will work for Adsense sites too.

Yep absolutely ... and the theme navigation makes good use of sub-categories. So in your case would do 5-10 broad categories and then have a whole bunch of sub categories under each of them

Got it, and set it up on a site I was planning to use to promote Pinterest related stuff. Fantastic theme. Works great. Very cool OTO too

A couple suggestions...

You could make the theme compatible with Buddypress for social networking. Not sure if that's the best direction, but it would be kinda cool.

Adding your own membership capabilities (another plugin?) would be nice. What I would love to see is a membership that is free, but doesn't allow the member to post/update affiliate links. Of course, there would be a paid upgrade option that would allow posting of affiliate links. Something along those lines.

Oh, and I've been using Auto Post Images (API) on a couple sites to automatically add images to a post from a list of images. I can't recall if I had to tweak it or not, but it might work "out of the box" for this theme.

Are you using a different Paypal email to purchase the upsell...

If a Paypal email is blacklisted by 3 or more vendors it would be rejected (blacklisting typically would occur after doing a chargeback or serial refunding).

I know you - so that's probably not the case but just letting you know how that bit works.

Anyway please go into your JVZoo downloads, open the page and you should see a link to try again - give it a go.

Btw you purchases in JVZoo should be under the same login (if you used the same contact email for them) regardless of using different Paypal addys.

I'm guessing that since this is a theme, and not a plug-in, that we can't just make this a page in our site? But I just want to double check. I'm no expert in WP, so I don't know if this could be made to work for a local biz that needs phone calls and directions, etc...but it seems like it would be extremely nice for a gallery or portfolio page?

Pages in the theme are designed with the same layout as posts ie. with an image at the top and then any content below that... but if you keep the image smaller it might work just fine. (you could also make the image a graphical version of the page headline/title)

Pages will also show in the theme's header navigation, so it's perfect for stuff like business info and about us

You could also use the optional sidebars to display info and updates.

I was wondering whether the OTO would work with any other theme as well besides covert pinpress.

This is a WordPress theme - so it would be used on your entire blog.

But you could install a blog in a sub folder or sub domain using the PinPress theme - and then linking to that from your main blog - if all you want to do is use it for gallery pages.

So happy I was able to get the OTO a few minutes ago. I'm watching the video now & my brain won't shut down. I already have notes on the 1st blog I want to create with this. Yeah I saw that.... Generally when we say "one time" we mean it. However since we're getting a lot of traffic (and from experience it can cause problems with OTO views) - we have a 2nd chance link on your download page and it will remain there for a few days until the initial surge ends - it will not be there forever though.

The yellow "nag bar", as it's called, is a widget area (just like a sidebar) so you can put anything you like in it (as long as it's not bigger than the area given).

In the theme options you can easily change the background color of the theme to anything you like (easy color selector).

And the logo on top (blog title) you can replace with a logo through the theme options too.

We don't have plans to make a separate mobile version - but the theme has been tested in a lot of mobile browsers and works just fine on mobile.
