We may as well conclude that this guy will use any excuses for not refunding our money despite stating a 90 days no question asked money back guarantee. He said he had never said that he would provide live links reports oh yea thats right. However he also said "This will take much longer and I would of had to charge a lot more money to do this. This was always the case as this isnt possible. No-one does this for that amount of money." This is funny as there are lots of other WSO under 30usd that offers live link reports.

Thats indeed a true a**hole behaviour, just wondering how can he still managed to remove anything from the sales page despite being banned? a screen shot of evidence would be more than enough.

The guy thinks we can't chase him for the money because we are in the different side of the world. Nobody will pay a thousand for air ticket to go to Australia just for seeing him.

As I said previously, I believe this guy is no idiot and he knows what he is doing. He may be a b*st*rd, a con-artist and a thief but he is no idiot. I think it would be extremely difficult to bring him to justice for his actions on this one WSO alone since he would deny any wrongdoing. He would state his business just didn't work out and that he was very sorry blah blah blah - which is what his emails seem to be saying. In other words, he is claiming he is a victim too and unless their was evidence to the contrary (i.e. intent to defraud at the outset) I believe the authorities would have to believe him too.

However, if it was possible to gain evidence of similar scams that he has operated in the past where he has used similar techniques to con money out of the public then we may have a chance. But I think that would be expensive to prove.

I like the idea of trying to find a lawyer who would be able to offer an initial consultation for free. Once we had a definitive answer about possible courses of legal action, perhaps we could band together as victims to persue this d*ckh**d.

But it also brings me onto another question. Where was the offence committed? In Australia where we assume he lives, or in the USA where the WSO (and his business) is hosted. I'm sure the lawyers would fight that one out too. Or are their any mods on this thread that could answer this one??

Don't worry this guy does not know what he is doing.
The only reason he has came back and replied with emails is that he is worried about all the people putting in complaints to the relevant Authorities.
We may have lost our money , but you can still get pay back by reporting him to the scam watch links and the tax man.
There are strict laws in Australia when you are registered with an ABN business number, about how you conduct yourself in Business.
He also never sent out any invoices showing if he is registered for GST, which a business must do when trading in Australia.
You may not get your money back but report him to the links put up before, that is what this Benji is most worried about... they will bring him down.
Keep all your emails that he may have sent us ,to show proof of his Scamming ways.

Yeah, likewise. I did ring them, and they promptly dismissed me and said that it all needed to be in writing (where I now assume they have endeavoured to ignore as best as possible).

I wrote in to my credit card company requesting a charge back/ credit on this transaction and they reversed the transaction. So looks like i can get my money back.

I reported this to them as a likely scam and they would chase it up.

Never use your Paypal Balance to make any payments , i will always now use credit card payment as hopefully the credit card company can always reverse fraud transactions.

I managed to get a full refund for $150USD. I was emailing him on his Gmail account.

I basically just told him I would report him to the ATO because he did not provide an invoice and is unlikely to be reporting his income. I also quoted from the consumer protection in Australia that he violated terms and also his quotes from his original sales page with the money back guarantee.

Congrats! It's obvious he's scared because he knows he did wrong and also knows that no one here will hesitate to report him to the AUS government.

You're lucky that worked out for you. In the past I've had visa refuse to do a charge back saying they cannot for virtual services, they could in the case of physical products only. So, I thought the smart thing would be to use paypal, paypal would refund if they can but since this guy cleared his account they will most likely tell me that they granted me the dispute but I can't get paid.

I think the lesson learned here is to never buy an SEO service unless its been around for a long time with good reviews.

Congrats! In what form did you get the refund? He previously sent many people, myself included echecks through paypal but they all bounced! Hopefully yours cleared! Please let us know the details of what happened.
