I was not going to do this, however, since you did not follow through on the deal we made, I have no choice but to ask you publicly to deliver on the work I paid for. Private communications did not seem to sway you to complete the order.

I ordered your minisite special, and you delivered a decent design. I had no problem with that.

In addition I ordered the PSD files of the minisite I bought. For whatever reason you refuse to deliver.

You sent me a TIF file of my ebook (I wanted the PSD file of the minisite design), telling me that I can convert it into a PSD file.

Anybody who knows anything about Photoshop, will know that a TIF file is a flattened image, and you cannot move layers, images or work on the text. Hence, bringing a TIF into Photoshop does not help at all.

I tried several times to get the items I paid for, however, not until I treatened you to go public with our deal, did you offer a refund. That's right, a refund. You did not offer to deliver what I paid for, you wanted to keep "your secret".

Semmy, this is not how warriors do business. You make an offer, I pay for it, and you deliver. I did not ask you to do anything I did not pay for. I got only upset, when you tried to avoid the issue, and pretty well tried to cheat me (delivering a TIF instead of the PSD I paid for).

It is not the design that bothers me about Semmy, it is the way you conduct your business. I dealth with a number of designers, some give you the PSDs, some you have to pay extra. No problem, everybody can set their own business rules. But everybody I dealt with delivered the products I paid for. No questions, no delays, no trying to avoid the issues.

So, are you going to complete the order I paid for?

I want every warrior to see the answer on this one.

I'm very surprised with your situation. I have worked with Semmy before and find him to be very honest and produces work of quality.

I have also ordered PSD files from him. They were delivered promptly after I paid the extra fee. So not sure what happened in your case.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's a communication problem somewhere as I know that English is not Semmy's first language. So maybe if you can contact him again to discuss things rather than posting something in public which will affect his business.

I've have worked with Semmy on numerous occasions. I can tell you that the guy is ethical - and I'm sure many people who have worked with Semmy will agree as well. Anyway, I do hope you solve your problem. As I said, this is no where the same service I'm getting from Semmy.

Hi Herb!

I just had a quick discussion with Semmy about this. I generally do not poke my nose in places where I am not involved, but let me just explain what happened.

You got a TIF instead of a PSD, and that is a mistake on Semmy's part.. So I made him send it to you a couple of minutes ago... and it will reach you in a couple of hours max (his connection is too darned slow).

The thing is that he clearly specifies in the WSO that he charges $20 for EACH PSD you want.... not for the entire set of designs in the minisite. Just thought I'd let you know that.

I do not know this person for more than a week... and I am speaking solely from a customers' point of view... this guy is way too professional. Obviously, he has made a small mistake in sending you the TIF instead of PSD. And then he was scared of you when you told him that you would make an a$$ of him publicly. But I hope is alright now that he has sent you one PSD.

I gave him one project last week... He has delivered it with all PSD's. I gave him the second project yesterday... and I am going to get all the files today. Te drafts are done.

I know I will be giving him more business for yeas to come... And its well worth my money.

Hope you understand it was a small mistake on his end and nothing more...

Hi Herb I already send the psd file to you and the that's my mistake send the wrong file, and because my internet connection is so slow, I don't like to offer the psd file, it take me 1 hour to upload 1 psd and then if you ask 5 file can you imagine how many hour to upload the file,

I am not sure what to make of this situation. I received your PSD file. Unfortunately, all you did was bring the TIF into Photoshop, and saved it as a PSD.

There are no layers. This may be a PSD file, but this is not what I paid for.

I paid the extra money, because I wanted to make changes to your design. I did not want to go back and forth to get the design I want, so I ordered the PSD.

I am glad to see that you have a few happy customers, and I wished I could join that chorus. I don't like this situation any more than anybody else would.

I don't think this situation is just a language problem.

Semmy, please send me a proper PSD file.

I did not ask you to do anything I did not pay for. I got only upset, when you tried to avoid the issue, and pretty well tried to cheat me (delivering a TIF instead of the PSD I paid for). It is not the design that bothers me about Semmy, it is the way you conduct your business. I dealth with a number of designers, some give you the PSDs, some you have to pay extra. No problem, everybody can set their own business rules. But everybody I dealt with delivered the products I paid for. No questions, no delays, no trying to avoid the issues. So, are you going to complete the order I paid for? I want every warrior to see the answer on this one. Herb

Hi Herb, I'm very surprised with your situation. I have worked with Semmy before and find him to be very honest and produces work of quality. I have also ordered PSD files from him. They were delivered promptly after I paid the extra fee. So not sure what happened in your case. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's a communication problem somewhere as I know that English is not Semmy's first language. So maybe if you can contact him again to discuss things rather than posting something in public which will affect his business. I've have worked with Semmy on numerous occasions. I can tell you that the guy is ethical - and I'm sure many people who have worked with Semmy will agree as well. Anyway, I do hope you solve your problem. As I said, this is no where the same service I'm getting from Semmy.

Unfortunately, all you did was bring the TIF into Photoshop, and saved it as a PSD. There are no layers. This may be a PSD file, but this is not what I paid for. I paid the extra money, because I wanted to make changes to your design. I did not want to go back and forth to get the design I want, so I ordered the PSD. I am glad to see that you have a few happy customers, and I wished I could join that chorus. I don't like this situation any more than anybody else would.
