| *This is a physical book* Eighty Eight Dates is a collection of funny (and often scary) dates from people who have internet dated. Built around a how to guide it’s also a funny selection of stories to enjoy all on it’s own. People are calling it the perfect read-in-the-toilet book I personally went on over fifty dates while researching this book- and thirteen of the stories are my own J BUY NOW- Just send $17 to my paypal account Sample story: He didn’t lay a finger on me I talked to this guy online and he was interesting, probably as much for his secretive side as for his picture. He was muscly and looked like he put a lot of time and effort into looking good. I wanted to meet him just to see if I could get past his secretive side. I thought perhaps it was because he was shy, which I found pretty appealing. We arranged to meet in a pub close to my home. I knew it was him when he walked in. He did seem pretty quiet but there was a tense feeling about him. We talked and I told him about my job. I asked him what he did for a living and he got a little uncomfortable, and then admitted he was on remand for aggravated robbery and wasn’t currently employed. I felt a little uneasy. I didn’t normally date guys involved in breaking the law and I felt perhaps it wasn’t a good move to start now. I quickly wound things up. He offered to walk me home but I lied and said I had to go to a friend’s place and was going to call a taxi to get there. I just felt a little uneasy. To be honest I spent a bit of time checking over my shoulder on the way home as I was worried he might follow me. A few days later I was watching the news and discovered with shock that my date had been arrested on suspicion of murder. Seems it was a girl he had gone on a date with. I took a wee break after that. Nothing like a bit of drama to turn you off for a while! About my book Sunrise Interview (Breakfast Television) my Book in the herald on Sunday This is footage of me on Campbell Live, NZ National News Programme: This is my personal blog www.rachel-goodchild.com This is my blog on my book Eighty Eight Dates http://eightyeightdates.wordpress.com/ What a normal guy on the street said about Eighty Eight Dates: I read the book on Saturday, which is saying something in itself. I don’t usually start and finish a book in the same day but it was easy reading, and as a veteran of internet dating myself I can relate to all of the points covered. While no one wants a date to go badly, it’s the ones that go really wrong that you talk about for years to come, hopefully with the one you met one of the dates that went right. A good laugh for those that do(internet dating), and good advice for those thinking about it or just starting out.
