| FAQ Q. Can I add new pages and edit the generated pages? A. YES.. the default navigation menu item for the "MENU" page shown on the demo-site-1 "is" actually "SERVICES" (as shown on demo-site-2).. so you can make that navigation menu item whatever suits the business you are making the site for, when running the software.. .. as for adding additional pages.. after creating the site.. you can use your favourite WYSIWYG editor (komposer, nVu, frontpage, dreamweaver etc) to edit one of the pages.. change the content/images etc.. save it as a different filename.. and add the new page link to the navigation menu. However, I created this as a fast & easy "mock-up site" maker.. and myself, will actually use Wordpress or create a site from scratch using HTML/CSS/PHP, for a client who has paid me my asking price.. so.. I didn't bother with any "built-in" ability to add pages to the sites created with this software. I purposely, made it so these "mock-up" sites would look very similar to sites made using my "WP Theme Machine v2.0" software.. so, when a prospect likes the 10 minute "mock-up" but, wants more pages etc.. and hires me at my normal rate.. I'll happily spend a couple hours making a fresh new site with all the pages he/she wants.. with Wordpress. ================================================== ===== Q. Can I put a youtube video as well as the photos on my sites? A. YES.. you can use a YouTube video embed code instead of text in any of the content areas of the pages and/or in the HTML/content areas of the sidebar. Just make sure you set the width of the embed code to be no wider than the width of the space you are pasting it into. Example 1: using the home page top content area as an example.. if the site is 900px wide, and your featured image is 250px wide, and allowing 100px for margins.. the text area could accomodate a video of about 550px wide or less. Example 2: using the sidebar HTML & content areas as an example.. if your site is 900px wide and you used the default 70%/30% width distribution for the content & sidebar widths.. your sidebar will be 270px wide and could accomodate a video of about 250px wide or less. ================================================== ===== Q. My anti-virus program gives me a warning of suspicious activity/possible threat.. WTF? A. The software contains the built-in functionality to "call-home" to verify the software registration - even though I don't have that feature "turned on" the coding exists and your anti-virus program may be set to be suspicious of any new executable program it doesn't recognise, that contains code for connecting to the internet. Your anti-virus program is not smart enough to recognise what is not a real threat and what is an actual threat. It can only check for certain characteristics that are common in malicious programs. That's how it works. First make sure that your anti-virus program is set to simply "warn" you of possible threats (rather than let it take action automatically).. so YOU can decide when you trust the source of software you install.. and not let your anti-virus software "guess" what should be trusted and take action without your approval. Then when it pops the warning, you can add the software to the "exceptions" list (allowed programs/whitelist). If your anti-virus program is not sophisticated enough to allow exceptions.. you need a better anti-virus program. ================================================== ===== |

Looks too good to pass up at such a low price if it does what you say it will do. Why don't you do a video showing how quick it is to make a site with it? Ron |

Looks interesting. Is it limited to the demo you show (layout) or is it easy to create other layouts and designs?

The layout of the "Home" page is pretty much what you see in the demo.. you can choose the site width.. and choose to have the featured images or not.. and choose to have the text content or not.. .. for the other pages of the site.. you can choose to have a sidebar or not.. and determine the percentages of the site width that comprise the main content and sidebar widths.. the default (when choosing to have a sidebar) is 70% of the site width for the main content and 30% of the site width for the sidebar.. but you could set those percentages at anything you want.. or choose to have no sidebar at all. On the bottom of your sales letter, it says How Much? Bonus.. It states that you can create an unlimited number of mobile websites. Just confirming that this is as stated. Are the sites that this software creates 'mobile-friendly'? Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out.. Sorry, that is a typo in the developer license terms.. it is supposed to read ".. you can create an unlimited number of local business websites.." I'll get this fixed right away. The software creates normal websites.. not mobile websites.. I created a different software for making mobile websites. Mark. |

Bought this whilst I was on the phone 'chatting' with a customer. I read the headline & the price & clicked on over to purchase. Looks good. I am extremely interested in your Mobile website software. Can't seem to find software that works well, is user-friendly & looks nice that doesn't cost a chunk of change each month. Am I asking for too much? Madam X | |

Hi Tom, 1. A walk-through demonstration video is included with the software download. 2. It's ALL "fill-in-the-blanks" or "browse to an image on your computer" or "choose from the pull-down list". 3. There are a few generic "public domain" images included but, you will want to use the businesses' images whenever possible.. the "How To Find Clients" tutorial (also included with the software download) demonstrates how to find the businesses' images as well, (even when they don't have a website). .. additionally, you can search Google for "Public Domain 'KEYWORD' Images" to find images (substitute KEYWORD for your actual relevant keyword). 4. You can search Google for "lorem ipsum" to find all the dummy text you could ever need. Mark. |

Mark, bought it last night and put a test site together. When completing the different sequences in the image fields it states: or chose one of the images from the graphics folder which came with the software. I looked and cannot find a graphics sample file. The resource folder has the different addresses, but no graphics either. There is a link on your download page to a graphics set, but it never opens. Please advise, thanks |

Hi Puravida, The "Graphics" folder gets installed with the software.. when using the "browse to images" button in the software interface, your browser should default browse to the software install location where the Graphics folder is.. .. the software should have been installed by default (unless you changed the install location manually while installing) into the "Program Files" folder on your computer.. .. the full path to the Graphics folder on your computer should be.. "C:\Program Files\Local Site Machine 1.0\Graphics" Thank you for your order, Mark. P.S. The link on the download page goes to a sales page selling a different graphics package. Quote:

Just bought this a few hours ago - and a few beers and a lot of studying later, came up with this Camping Near Mount Airy | Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. . A little rough admittedly, but it was my first effort and I have a few things to learn still. I like it! A good tool to do mock-ups with and the information you gather can be used to build out a wordpress or similar site if the customer wants a PAID version. (Not that you couldn't sell the finished product created by the software, It's a working site!) I've bought products for a LOT more money that didn't work nearly as well as this software. The only thing I could see that didn't render properly was the credit card image (Visa-Mastercard-Amex-Interac-200.png). It was not identified in the "build" folder as a .png file and thus won't load properly. If you could fix that and give us all an updated version, I'd give this my highest recommendation. Thanks for the review Steve, However.. I don't know what to tell you about the credit card image.. it is a .png file and it does work/load properly when I build sites with the software.. .. could there be settings on your computer that automatically convert .png files to another format?.. I see that you have removed the image tag from your pages.. and when I try to browse directly to the credit card image on your site.. Pool | Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. I get your page source, for some strange reason?.. What format is the credit card image in when you build a site with the software? Like I said.. it already "is" a .png file so.. there's nothing I can do to make it more of a .png file :-D All I can suggest is to try building your site again.. maybe you hit the previous and next buttons, back-and-forth, too quickly when running it the first time and confused your browser.. or something.. and it saved the build with browser errors.. Mark. Quote:

Purchased, I'm impressed as to the speed and look of the site, will be even more impressed once I get use to working in the blind like that or familiar with the sections of the fill in the blanks. Would be great to have a visual of the build as it happens. Can be great for creating quick mini-sites and I think that Google loves sites that list their Maps, I currently have a guy outranking me in my sector and all he has is a one page site, I'm beginning to think that Google is actually penalizing WordPress Sites, especially WordPress Sites using the SEO packages. Also kicks out a Index.php file which I changed to a Index.html file to keep from having to upload or install a WAMP just to browse it locally on my machine and it worked fine. Genio |

Thank you for your purchase. I have just added a "Help Image.jpg" to the download package, with descriptions as they appear in the software interface.. pointing to the different "featured images" & "content areas".. that you can refer to when running the software, that will help you identify the areas you are entering into.. while you are entering them. The reason that the "home page" is a .php file.. is so that if you have a mobile version of your site, and want to install a redirect that detects mobile browsers and redirects from this normal site to the mobile version.. you'll be able to use a PHP Redirect.. which is compatible with a wider range of mobile browsers than a Javascript redirect. To open a .php in your browser, that's on your computer, you should be able to right-click it and use the pull down menu that appears to "Open with..." .. then select your browser from the list. Thanks again, Mark. Quote:

Hi again Frank, 1. You can show the site to a potential client if you have the files on your laptop computer and bring it with you to meet the client, just by browsing the pages from the folder you have them in on your computer. 2. Normally, you would just have a "mobile re-direct" installed on the normal site, that detects when a mobile browser lands on the page, and it automatically re-directs the mobile browser to the mobile version of the site. If you use my Mobile Website Machine software to make the mobile site, it comes with the mobile re-direct script and instructions for installing it on the normal site. 3. The mobile site made with my software can also be viewed on the computer it is saved on, without uploading to a webhost, if you want.. .. (this is probably obvious but, in the interest of being thorough) ..the websites will ultimately have to be hosted somewhere for the client to be able to use them.. you can host the sites for your client or you can upload to a client's own webhost. Thanks again, Mark. |

Hi Brian, That actually already exists.. my Mobile Website software comes with mobile re-direct scripts (PHP & Javascript) that detect mobile browsers and re-direct them to the mobile site - with a video demonstration on how to install the scripts on normal websites.. .. in this case, because the home page of the normal site is a .php file (index.php), you paste the PHP Mobile Re-direct script at the very top of the index.php file source code.. and set the mobile site URL as the URL to re-direct to. Mark. |

Can your mobile program create a quick mock-up of the mobile site as it will look when completed so that I can send an email to the prospect with a link to the image - eg quick logo and photo inserts? This problem is holding me back! Sorry to be off-topic but I may want to buy the mobile software from the Warrior download page :-) Patrick |

Hi Patrick, Yes.. basically you can.. you will have to enter a few things like an install URL, email address, physical address, etc.. that can all be just gibberish, if you don't have all the real info yet.. and can be changed later via the "Save" file.. and.. you can skip all the extra steps to make extra pages, add content etc.. and can whip up a quick 10 minute "mock-up" to take a screenshot of to show a prospect.. .. you will need to grab the lower right corner of your browser, and pull it up and to the left top corner of your screen.. to shrink it to the approximate size of a mobile phone browser to make it look right, if doing it on a deskop or laptop computer.. before taking the screenshot. I can't tell if you're asking a pre-purchase question or just making a statement.. you can look at the demo site links to see what the sites can look like.. you would determine the colours, content, images and the size of the sidebar or whether or not there is a sidebar on the inner pages. There are no "themes". Mark. |

Mark is there a way to save the sites as we are working on them? I just had one 90% completed and accidently closed the program as I was switching between screens and lost everything. ![]() It would be great if the program would ask you if you wanted to save it when you closed the program. Other than that it works, well. had a nice looking site up in under an hour. |
