In theory this is possible but highly unlikely we would implement it- it would work with facebook api. But due to the amount of apps available each one whould have to be coded in...

We are working on similar things with the social media options at the moment so once someone completes a action then the video starts playing again.

Yes I'd have to agree - 'Looked' promising but alas, it does nothing when you put it into your WP code - Since I have not tried it on a plain basic WP installation (Twenty-Eleven), I have to assume that the 3 demos that were are the only theme it will work with. No support and a plugin that does not work with my themes adds up to REFUND for this product.

We have had a few issues with some browsers but for most it is working fine! This is a new plugin and we are testing it. we have a new update coming that will fix the majority of these issues.

I assume the Pro Templates for this are different from , but will complement those for ViralMate Pro.
Installs easily + quickly managed to place a test YouTube video in a Post , and re-sized it to fit available space.

Exactly Eallan- Its a future investment once again- as soon as we got the core plugin stable we will start cranking out the templates- chances are we will be working on making the videomate and viral mate templates work together So they look nice and complement the designs

DId you know that your 2nd video showing the plugin, doesn't have Autoresponder service settings? How many do you support now, and which ones are you going to add in next 3 months do you think?

I love this plugin, but PLEEEAAASSEEEE update it to work on mobile sites asap!

Even if you simply set it up to recognize that it's a mobile phone (esp. iPhone) that's accessing the page & have it render the normal YouTube video or whatever.

That's my only real issue with this...
Otherwise, it's absolutely awesome!

At the moment we are supporting the major ones and adding a lot more very soon- the current supported ones are the same as viralmate- aweber-campaign monitor- constant contact - imnica - and quite a few others- we are actually integrating a lot more in the next few days - infusionsoft-madmimi-mailchimp- arpreach But if you find one that is not working we will get it working for you we may require a snippet of the code from your auto responder if it is a service we do not have an account with but hit up my support desk and we will get you sorted asap

Tony,You hit the nail on the head- this is our main priority at the moment- we are actually reworking the plugin from the ground up right now and stepping away from flash over to html 5. Making sure this works on mobile and tablets is very important to us- we will require some time to work out what features will work with mobile etc and there may be some minor changes if the plugin is viewed through a mobile device- at the moment we are hopeful we can get the majority of the features working we should have a new version in the next day or so

Viral mate creates overlays/popups...
videomate is a videoplayer...
Combine them and you have a marketing tool with a lot of flexibility.

Easy video player is a completely different system and has nothing to do with videomate - videomate works in a similar way as it works with you tube and amazon s3 is following closely behind.

You will be able to add your own buy button- sms tap to call is not in the plugin..

You can choose what time to start a action in a video and stop a action in the video. Videomate plays the whole video untill you place a action- then you can choose to PAUSE the video untill a action is taken .

As of this post the latest videomate revision is available with the ability to overlay a custom thumbnail and it works great! There may be other improvements but I was most interested in the custom overlay.

GREAT question- We are actually trying to work out if this is possible-at the moment we have the videos playing on mobile devices with the newest version BUT we are still playing with getting the overlay functionality to wrok properly.

We are looking at two options- disabling their videoplayer OR working our overlays into theirs. we need a bit more time to work out what the best route is

S3 compatibility is being worked on now-i cant give a time on when it will be ready as yet tho- but i can say its coming Sorry i cant be more specific!

I have no intention of adding a delayed buy button Outside of the video player- if there is enough interest i will add it in tho. But to be honest you can used a free plugin in the wordpress depository to get this functionality. Thats what i do now. Also i hear people talking about true delay- thats crap, what if someone pauses your video- they never see the buy button- personally i would rather it appear just in case right?

I think the plugin i used was called "timed delay" and its completely free in wordpress depository

<Sigh>.... I'm not sure what to do about the S3 integration since that is very important to me. It sounds like you have hit some snags there but I need a player for S3 since my video is 30 minutes long. I wish I could get an ETA... Perhaps I will risk this and hope it is in there in 30 days and if not get a refund. Does that sounds reasonable? Maybe I can find other users for the plug-in while I wait for S3...
