I've been to the SiteManPro site and have a few questions based on it's sales blurbs;

==>> As per my recent discussion with Deep on the roadmap, I was informed that the software will have its own affiliate program too. May be close to this year end. Deep wants to complete the necessary features in ecommerce section and project management section before adding affiliate program. Since he didn't want to let this feature "affiliate" a roadblock, he has provided this cool integration. So yes, if jvmanager can accept sale data similar to idev, postaffiliate or jrox (using a ping notification), then sitemanpro can be integrated with jvmanager too. I have tested it myself for idev, postaffiliatepro, jrox and few scripts written in different technologies such as asp and asp.net and it integrated really well.

On another note, Deep is adding a new feature to reverse/delete the commissions too on refunds. Your affiliate software doesn't have to handle refunds, Sitemanpro will send out instructions to your affiliate program and gets it done. It is not available yet, but as Deep said, I am expecting it anytime next month.

Method 1: Either use the product buy link directly from the software and use it for your order buttons. When buyers will click on that link, they will be sent to a page where they will click select the payment method and buy.

Method 2: And if you directly want your visitors to pay you instead of sending them first to your sitemanpro installation, you can do that as well. Their user account is created automatically and login instructions will be sent as soon as they pay you.

In both the cases, it can track where the sale originated from. How? I will let you in my training

I don't use JVManager-1. I'm not sure how it accepts it's notifications.
(Don't have any affiliates to manage.)

Webdiva - I am definitely not the authority to talk about the differences between the two software, I didn't develop either

But.......I had a look at RAP and to me, it appears more like a reseller/affiliate system with a capability to sell digital products.

If that's true, then, let me say this with confidence that SiteManPro has much much more than that (I apologize in advance if I am not correct about RAP).

I'd suggest you to read the features list on www.SiteManPro.com

Yes, the developer's standard policy is that you'll receive free upgrades for 6 months from the date of purchase, after that, you can renew the upgrades by paying nominal fee for next 6 months.

Zubair, SiteManPro is NOT a WP plugin. You will never require a WP plugin.... so, even though WP keeps upgrading, you will not have to keep up with their upgrades either because SiteManPro integrates through your theme, and for this reason, so you won't have to upgrade it with every wordpress update.

Regarding upgrade fees, there is no mention on the website about upgrade charges yet as it is very new. Upgrade charges will be published soon...

I think that the upgrade charges should be at par with what other software vendors like amember, etc charges...

SiteManPro software looks to be a great management tool already, not even including the various other improvements which Deep the programmer/owner and yourself have aluded to. My domain / website hobby has gotten quite large over the years, so I am very excited to be able to finally try to pull all things under one roof, so to speak. Looking forward to this.

Ok I have just ordered this and will give my comments on the software. Im just worried how much the upgrade will cost as usually its 1 year free but 6 months is a bit short changed imo. Anyhow I look forward to trying it out.

Doesn't matter where the sale has originated from. ..ability to notify your affiliate software, hosted anywhere, as soon as a sale completes .. no dependence on software or technology that your affiliate software is built on as long as it accepts a sales notification through hidden image technology (a feature which almost every affiliate software has) WHAT! It doesn't have it's own affiliate program built in (yet). I have John Delevara's JVManager-1 (and a reseller's license). Do you know if it will integrate with this. " ==>> As per my recent discussion with Deep on the roadmap, I was informed that the software will have its own affiliate program too. May be close to this year end. Deep wants to complete the necessary features in ecommerce section and project management section before adding affiliate program. Since he didn't want to let this feature "affiliate" a roadblock, he has provided this cool integration. So yes, if jvmanager can accept sale data similar to idev, postaffiliate or jrox (using a ping notification), then sitemanpro can be integrated with jvmanager too. I have tested it myself for idev, postaffiliatepro, jrox and few scripts written in different technologies such as asp and asp.net and it integrated really well. On another note, Deep is adding a new feature to reverse/delete the commissions too on refunds. Your affiliate software doesn't have to handle refunds, Sitemanpro will send out instructions to your affiliate program and gets it done. It is not available yet, but as Deep said, I am expecting it anytime next month.

At Hostgator I have 1 Cpanel account with about 17 add-on domains. At ResellerZoom I have about 15 Cpanel accounts. ANY of these accounts should be able to run SiteManPro. Can I assume that 1 install of SiteManPro at one of these will handle sales at all of these, on either Wordpress Blogs or Websites. ==>> Yes. Method 1: Either use the product buy link directly from the software and use it for your order buttons. Method 2: And if you directly want your visitors to pay you instead of sending them first to your sitemanpro installation, you can do that as well. Their user account is created automatically and login instructions will be sent as soon as they pay you. In both the cases, it can track where the sale originated from. How?
