Excellent idea Doug. I setup a couple of niche domains / blogs back in April and have done great using nothing but Adsense.

Exactly! Was just stating that I only went with Adsense and not expanded income streams like you.

I wouldn't use the olympic logo if I were you. They are really strict on the use of it.

This is copyright, the olympics, london 2012 and everything associated is under strict copyright laws. You can be prosecuted for using the symbols, mentioning london 2012 or anything associated.
I know because i was nearly prosecuted by london 2012 for using the name olympics as a domain name, i set up a site called olympicmedalswinners.com and was threatened with legal action!
It look me a long time and a lot of sleepless nights trying to convince them not to take action.
They come down on you hard, BIG TIME!

I believe the Olympics Committee is pretty touchy about their logo and even the word "olympics".
