This looks really great but one question before you go live ... how easy is it to find solo ads for markets outside biz opps and IM?

I had a look at Safe Swaps and a few other solo ad sites and they're almost exclusively for that market - but I'm in a completely different market. I'd love to be able to advertise in the way that you used to in magazine classifieds for just about any hobby or topic you could think of, but ezine ads seem to be all about IM.

I'm guessing Directory of Ezines might solve this, but I haven't had the guts to invest $197 only to find the same problem on the other side.

Any thoughts? (And will your program address this?)

Here are a few ideas for finding vendors outside the "IM" space...

I don't personally recommend Directory Of Ezines anymore because I've never really had much luck with their ads. (but then again, I haven't tried much outside of the IM market) ...Instead, the best way to find solo providers outside the IM space is to go the traditional way... Search them out on your own.

Start by going to Google and searching for your main buyer keywords. Find people that are advertising (or ranked organically) and see if they are collecting emails. Click on their website and look for an optin form. If you see one, then contact them and ask about solos.

This requires a bit more work, but unfortunately there are not many dedicated "mailing list providers" outside the marketing industry.

Another method I cover in Solo Ad Classroom is to seek out product creators on popular affiliate networks (such as clickbank) ...If they have successful products, then chances are, they have buyers lists.

I cover both strategies (& a few more) inside the Solo Ad CLASSROOM training. (you'll learn more about that soon) I give other things like templates, how to approach vendors, etc.

Answer: it's for BOTH.

Solo ads are nothing more than a means of traffic. (a profitable one if you know how to do them correctly)

I use them to sell my own products. I also use them to sell affiliate products.

In fact, In Solo Ad Classroom, I include a detailed case study that shows exactly how I brought in around $5,500 in about 5 days time promoting an affiliate product. And it's not out of date info either... The case study JUST happened last week. :-)
