YES - you can TARGET CITIES IN THE US even though you don't live in the US...the beauty of skype!

I personally target many states in the U.S. via various niches - having a system set up where I email a certain niche, then they respond (I'm getting a 1.8% response on the email ad copy) - then follow up by phone (now that is my personal way - some can follow up via email, payment button - I just prefer old fashioned one on one talk - building that relationship - and I do have a outside b2b rep doing that..) lovely!

Sometime we people need to take a break on reading / improving our self om those IM stuffs [Like getting backlinks, Twitter, etc] especially doing offline business.

It's better to learn how to marketing yourself for a while once you got your basic knowledge on IM.

First of all CONGRATS for "Just Taking Action"!!

Your clients being away from your country - (congrats on doing this virtually - it is AWESOME isn't it?)

The bad news is - after they buy the mindmap you did for them..whether you charged $500 to $10,000 - you can't 'stop' them from then saying 'thanks' and I'll outsource it myself...

The Good news...over 90% won't ever do that - why? A few reasons:

1. They have established a relationship with you - THIS IS GOLD! you have shown expertise and unless you break that trust and that relationship...the odds are you will retain the as a client for a very long time.

2. They are busy running their own business...one of the SUCCESS SECRETS of an entrepreneur/successful business owner is FOCUS - even if they know they can 'do it themselves - they will be smart enough to know to stay focused on their core competencies or they stretch themselves too thin.

3. You can manage the outsourced people better - one of the key elements to the offline consulting business is your ability to outsource and manage the resources - it is a MYTH some may have that 'outsourcing is easy' ...just go to bestjobs dot ph or odesk or scriptlance , elance, rent a coder etc...

The truth is - you must have a system to manage those outsourced resourcers....(gee - I should do a WSO on the 'lies about outsourcing or something!)

Most business owners you engage will not have that system at all - so even if they tried it on their own - they will realize it is a pain in the butt to manage 5 different people UNLESS they have a system and great project management tools - which is why they need to hire you because they will then LOSE FOCUS if they try to do this themselves.

Those are just some of the reasons...hope that helps,

and this week I finally managed to sit down with a local business owner here in the City.

Well I did my best to educate him as you instructed, I even showed him the mindmap and powerpoint presentation I created...

I know you initially said $500 for the mindmap and $5,000 for the big kahuna package...but I thought I'd gamble and ask for $21,000 for the full package of my mindmap...

Unfortunately he said No...

and decided to give me $10,000 for a 2 month contract!!! (we'll negotiate further payments after I show him results for easy to rank keywords / list building / twitter/ youtube etc.)

You ROCK Maria~! (with special thanks to Robert as well!)

Can't wait for the Virtual Offline Summit!!

Sorry I should have been more clear, my client was hesitant in paying $21,000 without any results at first...so we agreed to $10,000 for 2 months so I can show him results and THEN we'll renogotiate... and yes this is a business that made about $5 million last year

So I plan to renogotiate quite a lot when I show results!

this WSO covers the 'best of breed' solutions to offer the clients and you can take out as my videos shows/bits and pieces to charge clients.

in your case - never say backlinking to a client - deer in the headlights look you'll get - I sell SEO services - $5k upfront, $2, a month in most cases and more per month in higher competitive search terms and more results for clients

I submitted a ticket on July 25 at mariagudelishelp.com (ticket BX3XNDY4VB) and still haven't gotten a response. I bought this awhile ago and the address where I first accessed it is no longer working and now I have no way to get the information.

I'm wanting to buy some other Maria Gudelis products, but I'm unsure how to proceed if this is the level of support I get.

When I posted on this thread with an endorsement, that got a reply, but when I posted the following questions:
"For some reason all I can find if the pdf of the mindmap. When I download from the link that says it has the mmap file it is just an xml and png file. I'm wanting to import it to FreeMind and edit it.

Also, you mention in one of the videos a questionnaire that you have the biz owner fill out for your before making the mindmap. Do you have the questionnaire available?

I got nothing. I also never got a response to a pm that I sent. 3 contacts and no response. Not good. Especially when I'm someone who's wanting to purchase the $97 upsell, I just don't know how I can justify spending the money if this is the support I can expect?

This is a great product and I do recommend it; simple common courtesy support just seems to be lacking.

I remember for the questionnaire, she did actually send us a email on this. Typing out the sentences. But seriously...if you really want that questionnaire that much..she actually did mention in one of her call which i note it down it as well.

If you really want it, listen the call regarding the questionnaire. You should listen that call again and stop at the point when she mention about the questionnaire - the answer is there. hope this help.

Thanks Spark, the problem is I have no way to access the calls. When I originally purchased I was sent to a specific url to view the materials. Now that url is no longer valid and when I go there it says that the site has changed and I should have gotten an email on July 10 about it (which I didn't, I've searched my spam folders and everything) and that if I didn't get the email to submit a support ticket. I did exactly what the website said to and I have gotten no response so there is no way for me to access the info I paid for.

It's not so much about the info, it's more about the absolute lack of response I've gotten. When I pay for a product I expect the person selling it to respond to my inquiries, especially when it's about how to get what I paid for! I've tried posting on this thread, pm'ing her, and submitting a support ticket via her site. It shouldn't be this hard to get a response.

My apologies..somehow there must have been a "glitch" for contacting you... as when we transferred a few weeks back all the prior buyers of this product to my new technology platform (the past access was compromised by someone giving out the download link to others for free) - so I'm using a new platform for deliver / payment/affiliate program (Nanacast) I had Angii transfer everyone automatically into nanacast so you can access there...with an email going out to everyone...

so again, sorry that got missed - I have pm'd you access right now, and Angii when she is in the office on Tuesday morning (she is on vacation til then) I'll have her investigate how you were missed and make sure you are set up properly in Nanacast.
