Reserved for FAQ

Q - How many videos are in this offer?

A - There are 8 short writing clinic videos that total about 2 hours, as well as 2 bonus longer ones which are from a Webinar where we developed an entire plot for a story - the 2 bonus webinars total over 2 hours in length as well.

Q - Is there a One-Time-Offer?

A - Yes, the one time offer is an analysis of a short story that was written in practice of the clinics. This also comes with the outline that was created before the story was written so you can see the story as the bullet points that were made before the story was written. You also get the actual short story itself, and the link to the Kindle listing. The accompanying videos to this package is roughly 40 minutes in length.

Q - How much is the OTO?

The OTO starts at $17.

Q - Is there any training beyond the clinics?

Yes, there is a Webinar that is scheduled where you can ask any questions that relate to practicing the pieces of the clinic in your own writing projects.

Q - Is there an outline generator with this WSO?

Due to a mishap in the first 20 minutes or so of this offer being live, some people were landing on the wrong landing page and that is where they accessed the outline generator - this generator is for non-fiction topics and is part of this offer:

Content Outsource Blueprint - Pump Quality Content Using This Exact Formula!

The comments in relation to the outline generator is from that offer which focuses on non-fiction - Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for the recognition for our work

Wow... I bought this out of curiosity, since I'm a nonfiction writer and I'd like to expand into fiction. (Expecting a nonfiction writer to craft fiction is like expecting a piano player to know how to play the tuba. It can be done, but -- for reliable results -- most will need lessons.)

Besides, the price was low. I know value when I see it.

So, as I was downloading the product, I noticed the link to the outline generator, and -- just to see what it does -- I entered terms related to my current series of nonfiction books.

Wow! I'm trying to rush a series of books to Kindle for the Halloween season, and I've been struggling with ideas. With one click, this outline generator gave me enough ideas for the entire series!

So, even though I haven't had time to look at anything else in this WSO -- and probably won't get to it for at least a couple of weeks -- this was well worth the price, if only for that tool.

Will I ever write a novel? I'm not sure. However, I buy WSOs related to fiction because some of the best nonfiction is written with the flair and style of good fiction. Everything I learn about writing improves everything else that I do as an author.

For me, this was the right purchase at the right time. I'm looking forward to studying the rest of the materials in Kindle Klinic, when I complete what I'm writing now. Thank you!

Hi there - I am so sorry for the confusion, the outline generator is actually for non-fiction topics- that went with this package:

Content Outsource Blueprint - Pump Quality Content Using This Exact Formula!

Just to clarify - that was a tool for non-fiction - sorry for the confusion!

Disclaimer: I did get a review copy, and I am an affiliate for this product.

New Kindle Product for Fiction Writers

Do you or do you want to write fiction stories and books?

I will be honest... There is a reason I only write non-fiction... I cannot write dialog for the life of me...

But, you might be more creative or courageous than I am... LOL

Lina T and Rob Howard released a new product this afternoon titled, "Kindle Klinic".

In it, they have ten videos, which guide you through some of the more challenging aspects of writing fiction...

In this product, you will find:

* 3 videos describing Plot Development (just over 2 hours)
* 2 videos describing Character Development (29 minutes)
* 1 video about Writing Descriptively (21 minutes)
* 1 video discussing Foreshadowing (10 minutes)
* 1 video describing Setting The Scene (19 minutes)
* 1 video about Writing Dialog (21 minutes)
* 1 video concerning Time Management (9 minutes)

Everything is arranged so that you can get the training you need, and you can skip those sections that you don't feel that you need.

I did go through the Character Development and the Plot Summary videos, and I found the information to be useful and workable.

If you think that this is something that could help you, I encourage you to take a look at this one...

Hi Lina,

please note spelling error in FAQ headline.

my question is what is the relationship of the bonus/oto material to the wso that you did with, i believe, Sam England (which i paid for then). plus i have other material from you as well.

your new wso sounds very good, but i am getting confused because some of it is sounding very familiar from before -- hence my sincere question.

in short, what is the duplication between this and previous wsos/products, if any?

what it is sounding like to me is that the main wso product is new, but the bonus video within the main product is not new and the oto was also presented in a previous product. if you want to pm me re the details, thats fine. thanks.

best, david

Thanks David for pointing out the spelling error in the FAQ.

As for the OTO - that material is all completely brand new and original - I just recorded them in the last several days and I have never even shared my process with that particular short story in a public forum ever. You may have read my short story before as a reader/consumer, however the analysis is what this OTO is about.

The bonus recordings in this WSO (not part of the OTO) were from a Webinar that we did in front a live audience and that Webinar was actually a bonus for the Love and Sex Romance Formula audience, however we received such a good responses to that Webinar, we included it here as a bonus as well since the material is directly related and was so well received. We thought people who have not seen it would appreciate the bonus. Those are the only 2 videos that you may have seen before in the entire offer as all the clinics and other materials were all created in the last 10 days and never before seen.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns - thanks and best wishes to you in your writing adventures!

Dear Lina,

ok thanks for clearing that up. probably good to be real specific like that anyway for your other readers re the newness of this offer.

yeah, i got confused because there was a short story analysis seminar that Sam England hosted with a different fiction writer. if im right about your Romance seminar being also one with Sam, it was very good and it is a great idea to include it.

much success, david

9/29/12 - IMHO the bonus product that comes with Kindle Klinic is better than some of the Klinic product. The bonus is some good information on Content Outsourcing.
The first two videos showing a mind map are too small to be of much real use in seeing what is going on in the plot development. There is quite a bit of conversation between Rob and Lina that helps to explain some of their brainstorming. But the chuckling and giggling is distracting.
There is supposed to be a webinar happening 9/29/12 at 3pm MDT which I have signed into and am still waiting for it to start at 3:25 pm MDT on 9/29/12. I have no idea what is going on with the webinar unless they were waiting until 7pm EDT to start it.

Wow, glad I only paid $8 and change for this. The same material (except better) is available at the Writer's Digest site or in hundreds of other books.

If you like to see screens with someone typing in Word, and lots of irrelevant, often annoying banter between two people, then this is for you.

Content is of marginal help except for those without any writing experience at all, and the production value of the videos are rock bottom.

Now the ethics test that involves the authors of the Kindle Klinic:... will this honest, objective review by an unbiased buyer (not an affiliate) be deleted? Or will they let it remain? Stay tuned.

Hey guys - we are have network problems at the hotel. (we are the Warrior Forum event in Orlando)

Since we have 200 internet marketers taking over the hotel, the internet is barely working.

We have rescheduled the webinar to Wednesday at 6 PM eastern time.

Thanks guys,

Rob

Hi there - I am seeing if we can get the mindmap in PDF format for you to download as well so you can better see the elements in the video. As for the Webinar, I am sorry that it got re-scheduled and I hope you made it - if not, there is a replay available on the download page.

Thank you for your responses and if there is anything I can help you with, please let me know - thanks! Lina

Hi there donhx - as an educator for many years from community colleges to here on the Warrior Forum, I have learned that the theory that different people learn in different ways holds true on many levels. There are many people out there that learn better in a text book sort of realm and need for the information to be delivered in a dry form - that is definitely not what this WSO is.

As a writer, I strive to have fun with my writing and my style is very casual, especially in the fiction arena, because I believe in my core that my fiction work reflects certain aspects of my life and my experiences. In my opinion, teaching someone else to write in that sort of flavor is naturally done in a casual setting where brainstorming should be fun and the exploration of ideas would lead to some laughter and banter. I sort of would like people who learn from me to take a similar approach and be "light" in their writing.

In any event, I do not think one style is better than another and I have no desire to "bash" styles that are different than mine. If the local library is a better resource for learning how to develop characters and plots, that is understandable as obviously not every book or course is going to be the right fit for every individual. However if you are looking to learn how to have fun writing and how to be free in your fictional stories, and you learn better by video than by text books, this course is a good fit - I think the positive emails and testimonials we have received about our product are from those that share that philosophy.

I wish you the best in your writing endeavors and perhaps our paths will cross in another arena.

Lina
