I was never running behind. The 120 backlink packet was ready yesterday, but I couldn’t get it uploaded to my site due to the issues I am having with my hosting account. Although you may see the "Google Dance" (pretty much everyone does), you won't be penalized:

As far as being penalized if you build links too fast, you'd have to have
HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of the same kind of links to have that happen. "Natural Linkbuilding" happens every day. How many links do you think I'd get TODAY if I had some sort of breaking news about US President Obama? What if I knew something about his background that no one else knew? I guarantee you, I'd get THOUSANDS.

The Drudge Report was "put on the map" the day he broke the news that President Clinton was having an indiscretion with a young intern named Monica Lewinsky. Not only did HUNDREDS of thousands of other sites link back to him that day, but many of them were NOT in the same niche. This is natural and expected by Google. What is NOT natural is building THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of links all in the same niche in one day. Then, you might be removed. But unless you are doing that, you have nothing to worry about.

Remember, people always recommend that you have SUCH "great content" that other sites will want to link back to you. If you do have that great content, how are YOU going to control how many people a day link back to you? You can't. Google knows and understands that.

You need to allow more time for a response. Not everyone is always here, allow at least 24 hours for a response. But let's see if I can answer from what "I" would do and know.

These backlinks are for improving your sites ranking, not directly at giving you more traffic, but in turn, a higher ranking should give you more organic traffic because you have improved your rank.

Now, that said as for these:
Directory Submission
Article Submission (not article marketing, just submitting articles to thousands of article directories)
Social Bookmarking
Yahoo Answers
Press Releases

I would still want to do those, as this gives your site more exposure, and does give you other traffic sources, which leads to more traffic. And anything to me that gives me more traffic and exposure, is definitely not a bad thing.

To answer your question, these backlinks will help your site move up in the rankings, which can greatly increase the traffic to your site. Paul, I´m going through this month links and I´m noticing that some sites don´t have do follow when posting my links, this seems to be true most for sites where you post a blog entry. (only post 4 links / site)

This is a little worrying cause I´m thinking that with all the subscribers I´m sure you have perhaps more and more will change their system to no follow.

When I tested those sites they were all dofollow links. Also, some sites will do that, especially if some of the subscribers sign up and post the packets on forums which end up getting spammed liked crazy.

However, Angela and I are getting to the bottom of this, and we are going after those people.

Ok, this is the first time I am using your packet. Ive done 3/4 of the packet for 6 of my sites. Here are the results in a weeks time.

1 article w/ 67,000 competing sites. I went to number 1 in about 2 days after applying about 20 links. Now I am on the 4th page for that keyword.

1. One keyword w/ 3M competing sites is not even ranked after applying about 30 links in either search engine

Another keyword ranked on the first page (10th) after 2 days and then it went to page 4 on Google w. 711,000 competing sites.

And 2 of my other sites have actually moved farther behind or not even ranking after applying 20+ links. Now I know this is only week 1 but I really hope to see some improvement of my rankings before the month is over. Will update with some great results hopefully.

No, the 120 backlink packet along with every other backlink packets I have, will not contain any PR.2 sites, every site is PR. 4 and above. Also here are the details for June's 120 backlink packet

PR.6 = 35

What you see is the typical Google dance. Since your articles are new they will fluctuate in the beginning and your rankings will be all over the place. Just keep building your links and eventually they will stick.

Looks like a fabulous service, but I have 1 question first. I went to the membership/affiliate site and from what I can see, the only option is to subscribe to the 50 pack, not the 80 or 120. Is there any possible way to order the 120 pack and become an affiliate as well?

Yes, this happens to everyone’s site. When I first started doing backlinks, I noticed this right away, and I didn’t know what the heck was going on, I thought that I was doing something wrong. However, the Google dance doesn’t last long, and your site will go back to its ranking.

Unfortunately at the moment you cannot be an affiliate for the 80 & 120 backlink packets. The membership script that I am using (EMP), will only allow me to set up one affiliate product.

I am currently looking for another membership script that can do this, but at this present time I haven’t found anything yet.

Understand everyone that your keyword choices are absolutely critical with any backlinking system. Better to cast a wide net than try to land one big fish. In other words, try to find several lower competition keywords in your niche and use these backlinks to get them ranked. You'll get faster (much faster) results in the rankings, and you won't burn out from the frustration of waiting.

I've posted a couple of short videos that go over these concepts. You can view them in the first page linked to in my signature below. I have Paul's and Angela's link packets, by the way, and when you combine them with what I show in those 2 videos, the results are often tremendous.

anyone know how often the profile pages are spidered by search engines? i have completed the may packet. i checked with google webmaster tools and no links to my sight and no keywords showing up yet.

cant figure out how some people see such fast results. all i want now is to see something happening, even if my kw is on the 5th page at least i know they are being found my the search engines.

Sometimes depends on how competitive the keyword is. And google never shows you all the links. What you can do is ping all those link pages at like pingoat(dot)com. That will get the spiders to see you rather quickly.

Hey guys, just want to pass along a few tips, I have had great success with both Angela's and Pauls packets. one of the things you want to remember is you can use these packets to rank for numerous keywords to one page. so i dont think necessarily in terms of keyword i am going after but keywords. let me give you an example i did for the may packets..

i chose 6 pages i want to start to rank for. Each page has their main keyword but then i also added 2-4 additional keywords to add. a good thing to do is look for modifiers...ex. main kw is.. blue widget...so ill add... online blue widget..blue widget online...big blue widget.. small blue widget... you get the picture but dont make this up, find it on google's kw research tool. i am ranking for 5-10 kws per one page on some of my pages.

ok back to my may packet, so i chose 6 pages, 2-4 kws per page, so probably around 18 keywords i used and at this time, i was only using 3 links per page and i am now on the first page for pretty much all the kws. and i know there are still alot of those pages that are not indexed in google yet so i am firing links at those pages.

i know there was a question awhile back about how to get the links to show up quicker, i know someone answered about the links may not show up in the back link checker tools, which to be honest, i hope they dont..like to keep my links away from prying eyes...what i am more concerned about is the page my link is on showing up in google index bc if google isnt showing it, it doesnt count.

so what are some ways to get this to indexed faster... what i have done is social bookmark these pages using socialbot, i have also pinged these pages and then i am in the process of firing links via article networks.

It took me awhile before I understood this whole volume backlink process. I think some people with concerns haven't taken a look at the sites. Most of these sites are not just places where you are sticking addresses and moving on, they are legitimate sites that probably thousands of people access daily. I've even read the terms of service on some and they know and encourage you to link to your website or other interesting information.

I know the idea is to get your links on the site and move on but some of the sites are interesting. So far I have found a couple of sites that allow you to create a home page with RSS feeds. I have been able to plug in my EZA, website and blog feeds. - I can then social bookmark that home page. That should get some stuff moving, huh!?

I'm excited about what my search positions will look like in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, when I search for these sites, I try to include websites that can be used for other things, not just backlinking.

Hey, I'm going through a lot of these sites now they are sweet thanks for the work Paul. Quick question: I have a few articles that rank higher then my site for some of the KW's , should i optimize those articles and get them boosted up (sending backlinks to them) or should I just use backlinks direct to my website?

So far I've done about 20 sites to my article i want to get that boosted up to the first few spots, but i won't do anymore backlinks there if i should just use this for my main site.

Hey Karl,

Some sites will do this no matter how many people join, but you will always keep most of them. Also, the reason why these sites usually change is due to people stealing mine and Angela’s packets, and spamming the heck out of them.

The good news however, is that Angela and I are going after these people.

Also, I have thought hard on making this a closed door membership and not letting anymore people in, and this will most likely happen soon!
