I didn't know how to wait tables or tend bar, where I could at least make some cash tips. I couldn't be a hooker, I'm not the gigolo type. Robbing the local 7-11 didn't seem like a very good idea (although I have to admit I considered the pros and cons for a moment or two...).

Time was running short for me. I needed some money NOW.

So I was lamenting to a friend, and she said, "Dude. We have 2 feet of snow on the ground. Get your ass out with a snow shovel and shovel some driveways."

Humbling, that was.

Desperation fogs your brain

I figured that out, finally. An easy answer was right in front of me, and I couldn't see it. I was so desperate for some money that I couldn't think straight. Lack consumed me. It took a friend and a not-so-gentle kick in the butt to drive me out of the thinking rut I'd gotten myself into.

Your Worries Are OVER!

Well, maybe not over. But I can help. In the time since I was so thoroughly humbled by my friend, I've kept my eyes open for quick ways to make some extra cash. Ways that I might not think of if I were in that situation again (thankfully, I haven't been that desperate since). These seven methods? I've used and continue to use every single one of them. They're not pie-in-the-sky theories. They work. Every one of them. Heck, my 16-year old kid even uses a couple of them to keep from having to slop tacos at the local taco shed. I'm going to give you seven ways you can make at least $100 by tomorrow night, if you work at it. None of what I'm going to give you is rocket science. You don't have to have a PhD.

You do have to work.

You have to get out of your comfort zone. You may have to do things that make you nervous, make you sweat, even if it's 10 below. It comes down to this: how desperate are you really? Can you bring yourself to try something new if it's going to keep your electricity on?

The techniques and methods I'm going to share with you have nothing to do with IM as you know it. This isn't a guide on how to get rich on the internet, although one or two methods involve the internet. These aren't necessarily long-term businesses, although for every method (except one) I know of people who do run businesses in those areas.

You don't need to live in a giant metro area to do any of these. Heck, I live in a STATE that barely has over a million people.

What you do need is a willingness to get out and off your ass and work a little bit, a small bit of common sense, and a desire to earn some decent money honestly. If you have that, and you apply yourself diligently, you'll make your $100 by tomorrow -- probably more.

One thing - if you're looking for ways to make money without leaving the house, this offer isn't for you. While none of the methods require back-breaking physical labor, you will have to at least get out in the neighborhood.

Hi Steve, Can you tell us a little bit more about your guide? Like how many pages it is and whether you need to be physically fit to do the seven ways to get cash? Thinking about my teen grandkids. This might be good for them.

Hi Carol,

It's about 30 pages. Of the seven activities I outline, 3 require some physical activity that wouldn't be suited to people who don't get around well (my 16-year old son does just fine with them, and he's not the Hercules type).

Your grandkids could really do any one of them, with appropriate adult supervision or assistance (don't know how old they are).

Yes, most do, except for sites -- although I'll freely admit I've never had much success with telephone sales.
