I have been building WordPress site for years - and many of them have been hacked -- too many to count. Some hackers just like to mess up your site, others take over sites and use them to send spam -- which WILL get you blacklisted. You DO NOT want to get blacklisted -- when this happens you may as well just forget using that URL (or IP address) ever again, because it will never show up in a Google search. Don't even try to contact Google to get off the blacklist.

If this plugin works for all hacking methods, then it is worth any amount of money.

I will buy this when it becomes available.

I'm sorry but I really don't understand why everyone is getting so excited about this plugin when similar free plugins have been available for years. I pm'd crazyamit well over a day ago asking what this plugin does compared to a specific plugin that IMHO is the best free one as surely a premium plugin must be better, right? Unfortunately I have received no response.

If someone can show me that this plugin is 'better' or has different features than the freely available ones (that appear to offer more features than this one) then I would happily buy it but otherwise I will have to add it to the long list of plugins that various marketers try to sell when there are superior free ones available.

I read your email and the forum reply. All I can say is you have a customer for life. I have seen lots of wp security plugins popup from time to time. Almost as much as list-building plugins. Well not that much lol . But a lot...

All I can say is this looks actually like the real deal. Plus they explain the actual functionality of the plugin. It acts like a real firewall. Plus it alerts you to the attack. Which is Great!

Please check out the OTOs if you have multiple websites or thinking of selling your websites aka Flipping.

I am not paid by anyone to say this it is just I really wanted to have a list of Top plugins for my upcoming wordpress sites and this is definately going on that list. Plus I love the way they did the OTO as it makes sense lol. They could of made a Pro and Elite version. And had you paying for what you really wanted twice. They did the smart and honest thing in the OTO regard. Plus they have my vote for integrity.

When you guys told me about this product weeks ago (that tells how long you guys have been preparing for this launch), I was like "Ok! Just another security solutions that I already have in dozens" but when Amit FORCED me to take a look at it I was completely shocked and kinda overwhelmed (in all good sense of the word).

I know you guys want to deliver more but are you crazy for selling it for 7 bucks?????

WPSafelock is an exact copy of wordpress-firewall-2 plugin (which is FREE) which is based on wordpress-firewall plugin released under GPL v3. So I assume that WPSafelock is issued with the GPL licence intact?

Here's another request for the OTO price.

If someone has multiple blogs, and I assume many warriors do, and this product has value, then putting this plugin on just one blog would be kind of silly.

I understand why many marketers don't say much about their OTOs or prices. But it seems that the nature of this one dictates that the details should be clearly stated.

I cannot believe sales copy which states that the programmer worked fulltime for last 6 months developing this plugin when the coding is an EXACT copy of the freely available wordpress-firewall-2 plugin!

Whilst it may be legal so sell GPL licenced software written by others, it is quite another to claim that you spent 6 months developing it!!

Or maybe Dr. Amit Pateek did not know that "the product owner, Chandan Das" who "made this master-mind plugin & he did all" and "worked on this plugin full-time for 6 months" has ripped off another plugin? Who knows? Unless this pair come clean I guess we never will. In any event it is clearly in violation of the WSO rules and will be reported as such.

And to top it they have the audacity to charge for a per site license? What a joke!

To anyone that has fallen for this scam I suggest you request a refund under their money back guarantee (if they honour it) and instead download WordPress Firewall 2 from Wordpress Firewall 2 - Wordpress Plugin | Matthew Pavkov Web Development or the excellent Wordfence Security plugin from the WP repository at WordPress › Wordfence Security « WordPress Plugins.

EDIT: Having compared the code of the 2 plugins I can confirm that all Chandan has done is remove the comments from the php file (bad coding practice) and replace WP_firewall with WP_safelock. Even the readme files are identical apart from the name and credit changes!

While under the GPL license of the original plugin it is acceptable to make changes to the code and re-issue the plugin, credit must be given to the original author. It is totally unacceptable and unethical to claim the work is your own, remove all references to the original and then sell it as your own.

Credit where credit's due - and that is NOT to Chandan Das. I think all credit should go to the original creators of wordpress-firewall and wordpress-firewall-2 plugins, of which this is an exact copy. Chandan Das did not make this plugin, he just renamed it.

on the other hand if the developer is going to ad future value and updates there might be some value to this plugin, but at this point a comment is needed to produce more trust and credibility. I guess you have to watch who you JV with.
