So you know where I'm coming from, I've accumulated over 90 followers but from skimming through this report, it seems I've been doing quite a few things wrong. And there are lots of things I havent been doing that can make a significant difference to growing my Twitter contacts group.

I was given a free review copy of this report, and here is my promised review:

A quote from the report:

Chapter 1

Is about setting up correctly. Mistakes to avoid. Things to do during setup which if you dont do them will cripple your effective use of Twitter. I found several things here that I need to do/change.

Chapter 2

A quote:
"avoid mass-following as many people as you can (a common approach by new members)."

Followed by several ways to find people in the Twitter network - which were new to me.

Chapter 3

He works through an example, using another Twitter-related site.

Chapter 4

A quote:
"When it comes to Twitter, the quality of the messages that you send out is an important factor in retaining your following, as well as growing one."

Then come tips on how to post quality messages and how to avoid mass unfollowings (when a ton of people click the Unfollow button on you).

The author gives an example of a question that kept coming up, how he created a report to answer it then grew his Twitter followers group by offering this free report. Inside it was a for-sale item that made him $3000 in 6 days from this free download crowd. He explains how he targeted this group of prospects using Twitter.

Chapter 5

Has a lot of value. No quote this time.

Chapter 6

"You want to use twitter to generate fresh, targeted traffic to your website, right? Well, here are the fastest, most effective methods of doing this."

OVERALL

One thing I was looking for in this report was a way to help me know which of the mountain of FREE Twitter apps out there are useful/recommended. Now I know. I've got a decent list of URLs to go to, and now I know they will work together in with a system that is working for the author (who incidentally does not give his name in the PDF - presumably it's James Tolley, the name at the TwitterDecoded.com website).

Even though I havent had time yet to implement these strategies, this looks like a solid plan.

Gives me a plan to use Twitter better? - yes.
Anything blackhat here? - no.
Recommended? - yes.
