Is the TOP of the page, the only place this can be placed? Any chance you can place it in the middle of a page or even multiple places on a page using shortcode or something? If it doesn't have the features yet, will you be developing those in a future version?

Just to feedback that I tried the demo on IE8 and its not working too ... (firefox and chrome are fine)... but I believe its a simple problem that Leo has no problem in fixing.
