Hi Mary...

A Squidoo IPL is an Individual Product Lens. It's a lens that focuses on a single (typically low competition) product. This particular WSO is for HTML templates to use on any Squidoo lens (and even your own website). You simply copy/paste them and then edit some tokens and you're done.

This is not a dimesale. Cost is $19 for the packet of templates, instructions, video tutorial, and two bonus guides.

Tom is one of the person I follow at the warriorforum. I found a lot of his helping tips at the forum. Lately, he release the Amazon earning guarantee warrior special offer. I got a review copy of this... I've bought two of the automatic software thingies that Tom mentions.. so I was really curious to see how these templates compared.

Right off the bat - the PDF that came with the templates were a complete surprise and would have made an excellent WSO in its own right!

I unfortunately have been hugely busy with a big family event which finishes tomorrow so i haven't had time to do a demo as I planned to show how these templates show up but I did start a Monopoly lens and I will share it with you guys when it is finished (once Tom looks at it to see that my content lives up to his template :-)

I'm very happy with this product for its roundedness (if that's a word) - Tom even goes into detail about what products to choose - a method which I bought TWO other WSOs about and what Tom gives away goes into as much detail as both of those.

Soon as my family thing is over I will be back with a demo lens to show how these look - it's just gonna be hard to pick which templte to use for my IPL!

Quick question on ease of use. The thing I liked best about Squidcrafter was how easy it is to use. Just click a product link and it basically does everything else other than pickm color and write content. How does this compare?

I own SquidCrafter as well and like it. However, it doesn't handle multiple affiliate links for each product well so what I've done is include 14 slimmed-down SquidCrafter-compatible templates in addition to the original 18.

There are now 32 templates included in this package (18 original templates + 14 modified versions that now work with SquidCrafter.

To use one of the 18 original templates, you simply copy the template code into your lens, replace tokens like the ASIN, your affiliate ID, and such and you are good to go. To use the SquidCrafter-compatible templates, simply drop them into your SquidCrafter folder and load them up.

All of our product templates have an image link, a text link, and a buy button link for each Amazon item and our customers tell us they work well.

Hi Chris...

As long as the template is consistent for each product, it works. For example, if I feature 4 products in a template and all 4 products use an identical format (image link, call to action link, etc), all is well.

However, if I want to be more creative with an advanced template like this one or this one, the software doesn't work without implementing workarounds. It doesn't allow for the flexibility to get real creative.

I love the software but I prefer to not make this a support thread for SquidCrafter, especially since I've added 14 SquidCrafter-compatible templates to my package. Shoot me an IM with any suggestions on how to get the software to allow for more creativity.

Looking forward to the new version! Will definitely report back on its flexibility!

Just a head-up to those who purchase. There are a total of 32 templates now included in this package. Eighteen are the original full HTML templates and the additional 14 are modified versions of many of the original templates. These modified versions are fully compatible with SquidCrafter. Just drop them into your SquidCrafter folder to use them.

This MONSTER template really is one to behold! It allows you to feature a main product at the top, 6 related products in gallery form, and then 2 additional featured products in colored boxes at the bottom. Borders and box colors can be modified in the code to any color you wish.

Yeah, you can use them. During the last Squidoo sweep, they labeled the lens as "over-promotional" since it was about the product exclusively. I'm working on moving the content to my own site.

I got a review copy of this... I've bought two of the automatic software thingies that Tom mentions.. so I was really curious to see how these templates compared. Right off the bat - the PDF that came with the templates were a complete surprise and would have made an excellent WSO in its own right! I unfortunately have been hugely busy with a big family event which finishes tomorrow so i haven't had time to do a demo as I planned to show how these templates show up but I did start a Monopoly lens and I will share it with you guys when it is finished (once Tom looks at it to see that my content lives up to his template :-) I'm very happy with this product for its roundedness (if that's a word) - Tom even goes into detail about what products to choose - a method which I bought TWO other WSOs about and what Tom gives away goes into as much detail as both of those. Soon as my family thing is over I will be back with a demo lens to show how these look - it's just gonna be hard to pick which templte to use for my IPL!

Just click a product link and it basically does everything else other than pickm color and write content. How does this compare?

I own SquidCrafter as well and like it. However, it doesn't handle multiple affiliate links for each product well so what I've done is include 14 slimmed-down SquidCrafter-compatible templates in addition to the original 18. There are now 32 templates included in this package (18 original templates + 14 modified versions that now work with SquidCrafter. To use one of the 18 original templates, you simply copy the template code into your lens, replace tokens like the ASIN, your affiliate ID, and such and you are good to go. To use the SquidCrafter-compatible templates, simply drop them into your SquidCrafter folder and load them up. There is a video demo at Squidoo Lens Templates. Check it out.

Hi Chris... As long as the template is consistent for each product, it works. For example, if I feature 4 products in a template and all 4 products use an identical format (image link, call to action link, etc), all is well. However, if I want to be more creative with an advanced template like this one or this one, the software doesn't work without implementing workarounds. It doesn't allow for the flexibility to get real creative. I love the software but I prefer to not make this a support thread for SquidCrafter, especially since I've added 14 SquidCrafter-compatible templates to my package. Shoot me an IM with any suggestions on how to get the software to allow for more creativity. Looking forward to the new version! Will definitely report back on its flexibility! Tom

There are a total of 32 templates now included in this package. Eighteen are the original full HTML templates and the additional 14 are modified versions of many of the original templates. These modified versions are fully compatible with SquidCrafter. Just drop them into your SquidCrafter folder to use them.
