1. No... There is documentation on how to install, but about the modification, you have to figure it out by your self.
We're still building the complete documentation for this script.

2. I recommended hostgator, If you have the reseller account, It should be no problem because the sqlite is already activated. If you have shared account, then you have to alter your php.ini or simply just contact their support to help you.

I host this script at my dreamhost account too, the script should run out-of the box on dreamhost.

3. Upgrade is always free. Yes, of course we will help you. I apologize if our support seems slow recently.

Meanwhile,I am a complete klutz at anything technical. I am using Wordpress and want to know where I should upload the aes file (or is it the contents of the aes file that I am supposed to upload? Into which specific file should the information be loaded?

I am really looking forward to geting my store going.

Hi Sandy,

you can create a new folder, for example 'store' or 'shop' then upload the content of 'aes' folder to that new folder

Sorry ayaw, you are going to need to take me by the hand and guide me along. I put everything into a new folder and uploaded it, but I don't see any changes and am not sure what to do to get aes to activate.

Ooops! I have just discovered that there is a wordpress plug-in. In other words, I purchased the wrong product. Never mind I will try working with the standalone store.

You made the right decision... The PHP version works best when you don't want to deal with those technical wp and wp-plugin headache.

I often find server problems, especially with something new, but my host is normally great about finding and fixing things for me.

This sounds like a wonderful script to use, but I'm confused. I do article marketing for some sites of mine, and have mostly been advised against duplicate content, and with your auto estore script I will put only duplicate content from Amazon's site on the net. Am I missing something here?

1. How to use WordPress themes instead of the 6 default ones ?

2. I have added several categories (15) but only one has products, so basically all the website have only one brand to display. Are the other categories going to auto-update or is there something wrong ?

It's been a week and I still have no answer. I saw you've answered questions on the WordPress WSO thread but not here. I've not been able to make the script work as I asked in my questions above. Yes, the content is duplicate.
It's a bit hard to rank if you enter the tight competition keyword.

But If I'm you I won't worry, because as you do the Article Marketing, you can write articles to bring traffic to your store and get sales from there

I apologize for the delayed support.

I answered the WP thread, then answered all support email I received.
Then just come to this thread so, I'm not confused to give support

1. To use the wordpress themes, just upload the wp-themes to 'themes' folder. Then it will be treated like the others, just edit the config.php to change the themes. make sure you use the folder name.

2. It should be instantly updated, please try to check the configuration.
The most common mistakes is using the supplied 'browse node id'.
it's the 'leather case' node id. So, you have to blank it / change it to another browse node id if you have different niche

Hi Liz,

1 & 2. for now you have to dig through the themes files.
But big updates will come in april. you will be allowed to change many things like the button, images, etc.

3. This script is automatic for lazy people. There is no manual thing here nor you can add the unique content A trick if you want unique content is installing this script in a folder and build unique content blog at your main domain.

for example:
your blog: www.shoes.com
your store: www.shoes.com/store

or you may look at the wordpress plugin version. with the plugin you can add everything.

Hi...

The 'script' version is this version.

If you like to work with WP, you should go with the plugin version.
You need this version if you don't know about the WP thing

If you go the wp version, the thing you miss is the 'instant' site created with this 'script' version.

With the WP version, you can post hundreds of products too, but I won't recommended it. When you're using the WP version, it's best to let your blog grow naturally. Start with 5-10 post, then let it auto post 2-3 post / day.

Yeah, the source is from the same place (Product Advertising API) so, the content will be close

Ayaw, thank you for this amazing script, I left my words too on the WP Plugin thread. Actually now I have 12 sites already for this amazon store, those are mixed between script php and WP Plugin. And I made doubled of sales than a month ago ,the bigger contribution was from script php sites, but I'm sure for the months later WP Plugin sites will be made amazing sales too

Again, till now I just made the sites without the effort to promote them...I'm still lazy for that ,lol

Both the PHP script and Plugin should be easy to use

It's simple to choose:
If you like wordpress, then you should go with the plugin version.
If you don't like wordpress, then you should go with this PHP version

In every site, There is 2 common way to control the index.
1. Using robots.txt
2. Adding meta key to the <head> section.

To do the second way,
just open up the header.php in your theme file.
Then add this before </head>

<?php
if( is_single() ) {
echo '<meta name="robots" content="noindex" />';
}
?>
