George,
The product is listed as a complete ready to go ClickBank business which is what drew me to the product. It looks great and really does look like a business in a box. But then the rights state you can do anything you like, even give it away for free. Yes, I realise it's a large market and most of the buyers will not be internet savvy so there might not be any competition at all from the other buyers, but, if the other buyers then start selling resale rights and PLR rights etc then hundreds of people get their hands on the product and add to their sites and start giving it away -- well the product I'm trying to sell on ClickBank suddenly becomes worthless. I realise you can't stop any of this happening, but the rights to the product has put me off purchasing as it's advertised as a product to sell on ClickBank but can also be given away free, which I suspect people with huge lists will snap up in an instant, package it with resell / PLR rights and before long this product will quickly be devalued as it's on every PLR membership site on the net! I would have liked to see that rights restricted to exclude the addition of the product to membership sites and listed as a product that needs to be sold on it's own. That way the listing on ClickBank element of the copy makes more sense to the buyer. Hope this makes sense. I'll duck and cover now ;-) Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your input. To be honest, you're 100% correct - the only reason why I offered the rights in the manner that I did is because I really cannot control what people can or cannot do with the product. To be sure, I can ask them nicely and put all sorts of restrictions on distribution - but let's be honest, there's no practical way of enforcing them. For this reason, I decided to offer an unrestricted rights package - simply because I felt doing so would more fair to the customer, as opposed to selling a product on a premise of exclusivity that cannot be enforced. However, I really do appreciate your feedback - like I said, you're 100% spot on and it's certainly something I will keep in mind in the future! Best, George |
