I understand that this would be great for blogposts etc but what about submission to article directories - specifically ezine articles.
Could I take a PLR article, run it through Content Hurricane, and would it get passed by ezine (assuming it was good quality to start off with)

To answer your last question first, Content Hurricane free version has a batch file processing facility which is disabled in the free version, which is also limited to 500 characters per conversion, but these are the only limitations, so you can still convert full articles, but the 500 character limitation means you will probably need to do each article one paragraph at a time, which is no problem as the conversion takes only a few seconds.

Now, article directories
In truth, we see the main use for Content Hurricane as providing wal to wall content for your websites, our tests also show that that the content produced by Content Hurricane is perfect for unique Craigslist posts.

We are not certain as to how extensively Content Hurricane can be used for article directories, but that is one of the reasons the software is free, we would like people to download the software, use it and report back here with their findings.

However when trying to register the file I keep getting a "unable to connect to remote server" message. What can I do to register and use the trial version?

Finally it drawn on me that it's the codes and not the words that is going to appear different to the search engine.

I just did a test on 4 lines of text (about 400 characters) and put them first through CopyScape.

This returned multiple occurrences on the web.

I then took the same 4 lines, ran them through "Content Hurricane", then took the resulting text to CopyScape and got "No results found for the text you pasted".

Now this is really something. This thing seems to really work as described.
As an extra test, I took the 4 lines after being converted and pasted then into MS Word and ran a spell check.

MS Word was able to detect the words that although to my eyes seem perfectly OK, Word was able to detect that there was something different or not really correct with them and was suggesting that I correct them.

This is the first time ever that I am impressed with a text re-writing software.

One question for you "aj113", if I buy the full version of the software, do I delete the folder where the test application resides or do I unzip into the same folder?

If I'm supposed to delete the "free" folder, can I then register with the same name and email address after un-zipping the full version?

Yes, spot on steveniam, furthermore, if there are words that you don't want to be converted - like your keywords for example, you can enter them in the 'Protected Keywords' window.

You can do both Dave, G will disregard any converted words, so if you are using Content Hurricane for SEO, you should leave plenty of 'real' words for the SE spiders to munch so that your conversion is still on topic. You do this by varying the percentage of conversion in the settings. For example, if you check my post above about Craig Newmark which was converted at 60%, here is what the spiders will see:

Newmark Francisco's Valley Craigslist dealing spammers scammers.[1]

On 25th its General Richard Blumenthal had removing pictures ads that Craigslist's calls by had recent months program linked prostitution in cities.

Now obviously that does not make sense to humans, but SE spiders know nothing about grammar, all the spider sees is a bunch of words that appear to be about Craig Newmark, so the article is still on topic. Furthermore there is enough 'proper' content there to spark off on-topic contextual advertising such as Adsense.

Hi Eswar, they're not really 'errors' as the words have been changed deliberately, but in answer to your question, the spiders will disregard the words that don't make sense to them, and crawl the words that do.

will see the article vs. a spider answers a lot of concerns. But do you think that with a lot of people doing this that Google would catch on and change how the spider reads and ban the content type somehow?

Very intelligent question Dave, definitely not paranoid and I can only speculate an answer, because obviously I have no control over the SE spiders.

The internet is in a permanent state of flux, things change every day, and what once held good yesterday is no good today.

Take Angela's backlink service for example, many of the services are no good now because they have changed the registration process, or they have changed to nofollow, or they have disabled backlinks etc. This is not Angela's fault, it's just the way things are.

So it could be with this tool, however my own view is that it will be a very long time - if ever - that G deals with this, simply because the unicode characters Content Hurricane uses are genuine, i.e. they are legitimate characters that have a rightful place on the web, so it will be a tough task to weed them out.

Thank you Dave Personally I think you have it right, Content Hurricane is ideal for converting PLR articles for use as unique website content, and I see this as the software's strongest suit.

Having said that, I think there are more possible uses for Content Hurricane that have not even been mentioned yet, and it would be great if members could let us know about their trials and tribulations with the software.

Furthermore, Content Hurricane is still in development, and there are some very nice updates on the horizon, such as unique content creation according to inputted keywords - this will be done through RSS feeds etc. Then Content Hurricane will take the unique content and post to a blog automatically. Yes Peter. Only about 20 of the 26 letters of the alphabet are converted even at a setting of 100%. So my recommendation for SEO is to convert by word (not character) at 60% with the "One Char" box checked. The effect of this will be to convert about 50% of all words by changing a single character in each of them. This will leave approximately 50% of the original words in tact for the SE spiders, whilst remaining totally unique as a whle article. Be aware that if you enter keywords in to the protect pane you mat need to compensate by raising the percenatge of conversion.

I had to copy and paste it three times to get it all in, but it didn't take that long.

Ran it back through Copyscape again, and voila! It did the business, so I can't complain.

Well done on a great piece of software. There is still a slight learning curve but I think that once you get past that, you (and I) will be flying.

I'll give you a couple of examples:
Let's say you have 50 PLR articles in text files. You can load them up into Content Hurricane, and have the software process all 50 files into 50 new files - all unique of course, - (or it can place all conversions in to one big text file if you prefer) ready to process in your usual way. You are not restricted to one version of each file, you can produce as many unique copies as you like. Upgrades coming soon will continue this process by posting the content of the files automatically to blogs - genuine 'autoblogs'

You could even have just one file, and ask Content Hurricane to produce 50 unique versions of the same article, which it would output to 50 separate files, or place them all into one file if you choose.

If you don't have a file, but you want to ahem, 'cough' copy something from the web - you can paste the text into the window and then produce as many unique copies as you like as described above.

It is how the article will be seen by visitors when published. We have discovered a minor bug when using some punctuation marks. In this case the quotation mark is causing the problem, we are working on it, there will be an upgrade soon. Also, as stated in the instructions, the converted content works best in Arial font. We do not guarantee results, we only guarantee that the software works as described, in common with all software. The results - as with all applications - depend on how the software is used. There is enough functionality in the free version to enable the user to determine its effectiveness for their own purposes. If you really need to protect more keyword phrases you can always copy and paste them back in to the converted article.

Proof of what exactly? And how do you suggest we provide that proof?

Having looked at and read reviews about other 'uniquefiers' in the past, and how some users even reported a reduction in their traffic as a result, I feel that some sort of pre-sale proof or post-sale contingency would be very valuable in help prospective buyers make their decision.

Again, contingency for what exactly? The software is free Peter, if you want to test its effectiveness, download it and use it. I'm not sure how much more we can do than that.

Having looked at the software again, I now realise that I was confused by the message that popped up in my tests saying that 'Free version only allow to protect one word'.

As I had entered one word initially and then tried to enter a comma to enter a phrase and was given the above message, I naturally assumed that I could only protect one single word!

With this clarification I fully agree that I can now test the software more effectively and will feel happier about being able to assess whether I wish to make a purchase.
