Niche Brain Bumper

My wife made me do it!

A few months ago my wife was involved in her first Internet Marketing class. She came into my office and asked me a question that I have read other people ask 100's of times right here on the Warrior forum.

"What is a niche?" she said.

So I proceed to explain it to her and of course she said she couldn't think of any niches so I got an idea that I thought might help her.

I put together an Excel spread sheet for her that made it very visual.

In the first column I placed all of the major niches I could think of, like, Arts & Entertainment, I would call this a Major or broad niche.

Then in the next column I broke down Arts & Entertainment into narrower niches like, Art, Books, Dance and so on.

Then in the next column I put in sub niches to these like, Art Galleries under Art, Book Authors under Books, and Ballet under Dance.

Then I took it one step further and color coded the whole thing.

Red for the Major Niche - Yellow for the Niches - Green for the Sub-Niches

So she had a color visual of good areas to start. Now I must say, you know as well as I do there are more niches than we can count, so "NO" I didn't cover them all.

There are 885 niche categories in this spread sheet!

So this is really a good start to get you thinking and to help you start your research.

More good news, because it is an Excel spread sheet you can add more niches to the differant groups as you find them.
