Nice looking theme. One Question:
Can I add the widgets along the right column to add categories, archives, etc. like normal blogs if I want to?

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Yes, the theme is widget ready, and in fact has four widget areas ready for use; Top sidebar, left sidebar, right sidebar and bottom sidebar. I just added some widgets to the demo blog to show you the layout: All-In-One IM Theme

I haven't done anything specific for SEO with this theme, apart from of course clean code and design, because I find that the All-In-One SEO plugin provides all the SEO functionality you could need. Given that the plugin is so effective, I feel the best results can be obtained by using this plugin rather than from my reinventing the wheel.

There are a series of additional plugins that I recommend using, and I'm always happy to provide full support and assistance with configuring your Wordpress site for optimum performance.

You mentioned some recommended plugins. Could you let me know what those are? Thanks. Also, what is the second zip file (tinymce-advanced) used for?

You're welcome Steve, and thanks for your purchase! I'm sure you'll enjoy using the theme.

The second zip, tinymce-advanced, is the first of the plugins I recommend to use with the theme. It extends the basic wordpress editor and makes it much like MS Word to use. With this plugin installed, you can easily style the size, colour and font of your page content, and do things like inserting tables etc. By using this plugin in conjunction with the sales page template in the theme, you have the easiest most efficient possible way of creating sales pages.

Here's a list of the other plugins I recommend using with every Wordpress installation. I think I'll actually go and include this list with the theme download file, so it can be of assistance to everybody. I'll include the previously mentioned plugins in this list in case anyone glances at it without reading the info above.

There are additional plugins that I like for specific purposes that are sometimes needed, such as galleries etc, but these are the core plugins that I recommend to get you a great setup in order.

Also, you should always enable the Akismet plugin, which is installed by default. You'll need a Wordpress API key (free) and once it is enabled Akismet will block most of your comment spam.

Lastly, this isn't a plugin, but always add a .htaccess file to the root folder of your blog, make it writeable, then set your permalink structure to the SEF format /%category%/%postname%/

And that's it! With all the above plus the All-In-One IM Theme, you'll be on fire.

Thanks for your question.

You can feel free to build and flip as many sites as you like with this theme. The only thing you can't do is resell the theme itself. The theme lends itself really well to site flipping in fact, as it makes it so quick and easy to integrate any kind of affiliate marketing, or to create a sales page for an info product.
