Sean, This looks like a really good piece of software. What is this software scraping? is it the online yellow pages? How current do you think those listings are? Peter |

Hi Sean, just watched the video. This looks like an AWESOME piece of software! Even though the yellow pages data isn't always up to date, when you can gather unlimited leads for $0, it's worth putting up with a few duds. Buying now! :-) |

Hey Sean, I uploaded and installed it... When I run the scraper it seems to hang on "generating results". Is this normal? Using PHP version 5.2.1 MySQL version 4.1.22-standard |

| a2zwebs & dockrue Sent you both PM's. allow_url_fopen needs to be enabled within php.ini NealAshley It would only be spam if you are sending them spam. This question is simple. Percentage of leads depends on what industry you are building a list from. For instance if I made a list of web designers as opposed to janitorial services. |

Sean - Can I make a recommendation to you? I recommend that you offer two packages. $20 for the software $40 for the software and install I for one would pay more for you to do it. I am lazy and unsure of what to do and afraid to screw it up and would pay you to make sure that didn't happen. Just a thought. |

i bought this over the weekend and was having the same issue about the script getting hung up looking for results. sean was more than helpful through a few pm's. after several attempts with my host to make sure my server had all the required components, i simply installed it on another hosting account i have and it works great! for the price, you can't go wrong....i do wish there was an option to search by city so offline marketers could really target local results. as it is, you have to manually sort through the search results and remove any listings that are not in your area of interest. or maybe there is a way to make the csv file have separate columns for the city/state/zip locations so you could easily sort or filter the columns to remove the results you don't want.... other than that, for me it is a great script for the price! |

This scraper works well and for those having problems with it not generating results you may have to change permissions of the files of the scraper to work with your webhost. I had to change my permissions to 777. Anyway, this program saves you hundreds over what data companies charge to get leads like these. I'm not sure if it updates every year or quarter when the yellow pages updates their info. Thanks, Brad |

Yes, A way to get at least a City or Zip code would be very helpful here. If it at least pulls one of those you can sort those in excel very easily. How hard would it be to code that in there? You could raise your price to 29.95 and I would purchase it, but without that it's hard to really target a market for offline marketing. Thanks, -Bob |

I don't give out testimonials very often, but this one deserves it. I had spent an afternoon getting content for a local portal I am putting together. I saw this WSO and I bought it without thinking twice. 10 minutes later, I have 80+ records of exactly what I was looking for. You have something great here! Congratulations. -G |

Great that would make it ultra easy to target certain areas. I am going to get this now anyways as I can at least pull some info that I can more than use and this program looks fantastic. Will there be an upgrade to this program when the new one comes out or will I have to install a totally separate program. Thanks, -Bob |

| Tekstar If you have purchased our system before we release it you will get it at no extra cost. However I may consider raising the price to 29.95 as you stated. |

Hi Sean, Isn't allow_url_fopen a security risk? For eg:, my hosting provider will allow me to enable that option ( I have tried asking them for other scripts in the past)....are there other ways of getting this script to run on their servers? Ron Quote:

Yes you could also use curl. Our software is completely secure though. Other software on your server may not be and then would be susceptible to an RFI exploit. |

Hi Warriors, Has anyone seen or heard from Sean Hoffman??? I purchased the WSO and I'm in need of 'support'. I've installed the YP Scraper scripts on my web server and I'm encountering the script displaying the message: "Loading your results, please wait". My web host has informed me that I have both php5 & Apache installed on my server. Has anyone been successful in installing and using this script? Sean, if you're out there, please give me some "support"... Thanks, Robert |
