| WHAT IF YOU GOT WORLDCLASS WEBHOSTING, A PROFESSIONAL BLOG, YOUR VERY OWN FORUM, AN ARTICLE DIRECTORY THAT GREW IN POWER WHILE YOU SLEEP AND THE VERY LATEST TACTICS FOR BUILDING A MONSTER PRESENCE ON TWITTER - ALL FOR THE PRINCELY SUM OF $2.25 PER MONTH FOR THE FIRST YEAR? That would be cool, wouldn't it? A Bit Of History For my very first WSO of 2009 (yeah yeah, I've been lazy), since I've been writing furiously about RAVAD for months (Rapid Aggregated Virtual Asset Development), it seemed only fitting that I offer a RAVAD package. I teach people how to FARM on the Internet. I teach 5 different kinds of farming: - Blog Farming - Forum Farming - Article Directory Farming - Wiki Farming - Flirt Site Farming Since the last two are pretty advanced, I decided to offer warriors an opportunity to "break ground" on their farms within the first three categories - blogging, forum ownership, and their very own article directory. The concept of farming is simple - farmers just have MORE of all of the above types of sites. In some cases, LOTS MORE! Plus they do things in a "certain way" as Wallace Wattles was fond of saying, back in the day. Things like non-redundant Class C hosting. Leading to highly-sophisticated and traffic-producing linking strategies. Blogging For blogging, I don't think there is any other rational approach than self-hosted Wordpress. While you can press the Fantastico button easily enough on my dedicated Cpanel servers, the result isn't the same as a latest and greatest Wordpress install, complete with all the bells, whistles, gewgaws and gadgetry the Wordpress 3rd party development community has produced over the last few years. A proper suite of WP add-ons and your blog is flying high, right from the start. Forums For forums, you'll have your choice between the cadillac of the industry, vBulletin, which I've been installing and deploying for many years (you supply the license on this one - I do the install and config stuff) or the radically new and stupidly powerful PHPBB3 v 3.0.5, which plugs numerous holes and niggly-wigglies from v 3.0.4 and runs circles around PHPBB2 and practically every other forum script out there save vBulletin - while costing precisely ZERO (the free template universe for phpbb3 is massive as well) Article Directories Lastly, I currently use ArticleMS for much of my article directory farm work, and it's demonstrated a resilience to hackers, stability, and ease of use that was sadly lacking in every other AD script I attempted to use over the years. Hosting Hosting - you can host on your own web host, secure a new web host for one or more of these sites, or you can host on my servers (included for a year) or pick and choose which site goes where. Note: if all three of these sites are "themed" meaning are within the same niche, then you definitely want them spread out across multiple hosts - think LINKING STRATEGIES! Templates - I have huge collections of PLR or free Wordpress templates. For forums, there is no shortage of readily available vBulletin or PHPBB3 templates you can use - either free or for a small fee. You can change them at will very easily whenever you like - even have your members vote on the one they want - whatever. As for Article MS, you'll get the stock template and then, if you want to get fancy, I'll point you in the right direction, but you're on your own. The cost: $27 I purposely made the price absurdly low for several reasons. While I've been on the WF since 2003 and produced IM products that sold in the millions, as well as worked closely both as a strategic partner and/or technical editor for some of the biggest names in the industry, most warriors don't know me from Adam. And that's fine by me. That Social Proof Stuff A few credentials might be in order: Served as technical editor for the Postnuke GSG (Getting Started Guide) circa 2002 Conspired with one Russell Brunson to create EzineFire.com circa 2005 Moderator - Gislason and Hodgkinson's Memberspeed software forum (running vBulletin, btw) Moderator - Simple Cash Blog (Rhodes Brothers) - Simple Machines Forum Editor - Simpleology 101 and 102 (Mark Joyner) Editor - John Delavera's Fantasos documentation team and DATING myself here: SysOp 10,000 member Worldgroup/MajorBBS server - 1995 First BBS - Wildcat multiline running atop Lantasic - circa 1991 First PC - 8088 IBM 64k mem, green screen, 2 full ht floppies - circa 1982 PC's built: several thousand (also operated a 3-point-of-presence ISP) Tech Support: Global response call center for five years (Dell, Gateway, ATT, 3com) My Rationale Why am I doing this? and why so cheap? Simple: People I teach how to farm invariably become future associates and Joint Venture business partners. I'm building a very large mastermind and I have plenty of spots available. I COULD have set the entry bar high. I chose to go the other way. Hey, there's a recession going on, right? I've got the goods. Pay it forward! One other tantalizing detail - SMM - ever hear of that? Social Media Marketing - I'm one of the fastest-growing twitterers in all of Twitterdom (TwitterVerse? TwitterSphere?) hehe All RAVAD WSO participants will also receive a copy of Tweet Flirt: Flirting Your Way To A Fortune On Twitter - due out late June, 2009 Steven W Johnson Stats & Rankings (pawmarks) | Twitterholic.com (pretty steep graph, huh?) :-) Since I'm a huge fan of social media, here's how you get involved with this WSO 1. Pick ANY SMM presence and establish contact - here's the cheating way: Pawmarks Links: Store, share and tag your favourite links Has a BUNCH of my links (cool script called Scuttle there - sourceforge - free) 2. Get in touch and I'll pass you my paypal details or you can make other arrangements if you need to (check, m.o., cash, in-person delivery, whatever) 3. Attend one of my regular webinars to get the ball rolling (5 room, 500-seat hot conference owner) See you on the inside! Steven W. Johnson, CPA The Ardvark Group 360-769-4123 (land w/voice mail) 360-535-1081 (cell w/voice mail) Skype: pawmarks P.S. If you've read down this far, CONGRATULATIONS! You are already on your way to becoming a master copywriter (who always read the PS stuff first, right?) {snickering} |

Hi Steve, it's not entirely clear to me what exactly you are offering here in this WSO. Is it a step-by-step guide in PDF form? Is it also some templates? Are you providing some hosting, if needed? Are you offering to set-up/install the 3 elements? What does this WSO package specifically consist of? Thanks, a puzzled Elliott |

Thanks for the inquiry, Elliott - still having fun doing the COPY for little projects like this when it doesn't make sense to engage a professional copywriter! My apologies. No, this is NOT a step-by-step e-book product where the aspiring web asset developer is left to ponder a bunch of vague and incomplete steps. This is: A. choose a domain name (or decide to deploy an existing one you already own) B. point the nameservers for it to MY nameservers (hard core dedicated Level 4 data center Cpanel servers) C. supply me with the domain name, username and password of choice, and confirm that the domain has been provisioned (on my servers, or if you prefer, your own hosting) D. show up at the LIVE webinar specific to the TYPE of site you are working on - (ie, if you are trying to get your BLOG set up, don't show up at the Article Directory webinar) :-) E. spend an hour or so in the webinar getting your site up, running, configured, operational and knowledgeable enough to add regular content (even jam in LOTS of up-front content, and set it to "drip feed" over time - handy for busy people who just KNOW they are going to forget to post to their blog F. repeat the entire process for the NEXT type of site. Hope that helps clear things up! Note: we will be mixing things up a LOT in this group, putting webmasters together in Joint Ventures where appropriate, creating link farms comprised of many members who are all building sites in a similar niche (lots of great backlinks that way), and pushing PLR out to the participants for some "pump priming" via the major article directories and sites like associated content |
