Alas i paid for 5 videos almost 3 weeks ago. yes by now we know he is gone. if he didnt make my 5 videos from 3 weeks ago i doubt he will make anyones. File a claim with Paypal..and if they dont hurry will do a charge back on my credit card. Anything i do on the internet i use credit card for quick charge back. Paypal will sometimes stroke you and let you lose everything. Chargeback is immediately. We are assuming he gave the one back and took the rest . Well Nath , you blew a good thing..You could have built a good business and raised your prices. So everyone should stand in line at paypal today. Don |

Sadly, if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is! If you think about it, say you use twenty or more images for a video, these will probably cost upwards of $60.00. Then the soundtrack - at least another $20.00! Then you would have the cost of labour and profit on top! The videos offered in this WSO were made using Animoto (an automated system), and they were made in direct violation of Animoto's TOS. You can read the pertinent part of their TOS here: animoto - frequently asked questions Quote:
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but, if you require several videos, you could always sign up and make them yourself. No skills are required Animoto does it all for you! Dave

I don't mind using animoto... but one thing that sucks about it is the branding that comes with it. You can't just remove their logo. I knew it looked like the animoto style, but I figured people just found a way to recreate it using a different program. I have a yearly subscription... probably ending soon so I'd better check. I know I didn't pay THAT much. |

Here is what they say on their site "Unlimited full-length videos, each licensed for commercial use with no Animoto branding. Takes just minutes to create one. Easily update it anytime. Hassle-free pre-licensed music. Embed it to your site or share it." Much success to you. Sid

I know everyone is upset, but Nath has been a member of the WF since 2007. I can't see a long-standing member skipping town over a few dollars. In my opinion, something serious has happened. I'm waiting a bit longer... Cheryl |

I ordered this thing June 29th. Opened PayPal dispute July 13th. It's now 7 days later. This guy needs to just be banned. This is ridiculous. I don't know how people can slip through the cracks like this. I mean, I'm sorry if someone in the family died and I feel bad, but all it takes is ONE post: Hey 'someone died', I'll be back guys. That's all it takes.

I've NEVER lodged a PayPal dispute before. Nor escalated it to a 'claim'. This is a first for me in over 10 years full-time online. I likely would have just let it go if I hadn't purchased multiple videos. Even though it was a matter of principle all along, with more dollars invested it became worth my time to try to DO Something about it. Anyway.... My PayPal dispute has gone 9 days with NO reply from Nathe, so I bumped up to a claim. What happens then, if Nathe has no response whatsoever? |

If there's money in his account, PayPal will just take it. Hopefully, they'll freeze it and close it if there's no money left.

I am supposed to have a resolution tomorrow (July 21) but I noticed his PayPal is registered to Emma Nicole... I hope he did not burn someone else's good credit. I don't think Nath is short for Emma! |

Okay, so I have egg on my face. ![]() I've just done a Whois search, and surprise, surprise, his domain details are private. But... his domain supplier is namecheap, and he's hosted by Hostgater. Not sure if either of these can help. BTW, the site is still up and running. Has anyone placed an infraction against this guy? I'm going to check because at the very least it will get the mods investigating him, with a possible ban as the result. I am so shocked , and thoroughly annoyed. ![]() Cheryl |

Hey Cheryl Thanks for making the attempt. Time to let go. What goes around comes around and he really shot himself. He could have made a lot of money and had a great following here at the WF but he is done on this forum. No egg on your face - you gave a lot of trust and were very good at playing devil's advocate. Sometimes nice people get burnt. But in the end we hang on to our values and something like this just reinforces that it does not take much to treat folks as you would like to be treated.I wish you much success. Sid |

The worst part is that most of us on this thread will now be so much more wary in future. That's not only bad for us, but bad for those with WSO's. That's twice I've been burned through WSO's now, but with the first I was able to get a full refund - nearly $90. It took six months, but I did finally get it. (And he's at it again. )Cheryl |
