Just bought it.. I've been considering this idea for awhile. Your templates gave me the boost I needed haha. A friend of mine mentioned that you outsource the craigslist hiring to someone else in exchange for a share of your profits. So I'm curious, is the $500/day before or after your cut? |

I have some questions. 1, First, I think this kind of traffic is not allowed for the offer you promoted, so this is a blackhat method, right? 2, We need first pay some money out and then make some money. But what if the convertion rate is low and we even lose money or just make it even? For example, for a $30 per sale offer, if every 6 cork board ads convert one sale, we can only make it even(if we pay $5 for every cork board ). Only if every 5 cork board or less convert one sale, we can make some money. Your convertion rate is every 2-3 cork board convert one sale, but I think in different city or different place, this will be various. We can NOT make sure that this convertion rate is the same in everywhere. So do you have any method to solve this problem? Thank you! |

![]() 1. What makes you say this method is not allowed? I have not had any issues promoting affiliate, CPA, and my own offers this way. I would be curious to hear your experience relating to cork board flyers violating any affiliate programs terms as it will help me to shape my how to section better ![]() 2. You are asking me to do your risk assessment. This is a business. You can "what if" yourself into poverty by never taking any action on the basis of "what if it doesn't work". The question you should be asking is "what if I don't try?" As far as conversions per city goes, I can't speak to every possible location and how well it will do. Some boards will perform better than others so the best approach is to be in as many places as you can. My experience shows 1 sale per day for every 2-3 locations and I only pay for the flyers to be replaced weekly. I hope that helps.

I'm glad you mentioned replacing the ads weekly. I was going to ask about how often they needed to be replaced. I've already got 3 people in 3 different cities ready to go to work for me

My affiliate manager at Copeac says all is ok to send offline traffic to their offers. I told her exactly what I was doing. Just cannot use the affiliate link on your advertising. She said use a redirect and all would be fine. This simple method does work. Robert |

Brad, could you check your pm please. I believe you have updated the downloads since I purchased (with MSWord and OpenOffice formats). However, my download link is no longer active. Have sent details in pm to you. Please help. Thanks... |

Oops. Forgot to mention this. Since you were asking for format suggestions, how about HTML? Perhaps we could send out some flyers as emails? Thanks...don't retire on us just yet! Congratulations on a very well received WSO! |

Brad, I have a question concerning those people you hire through Craigslist ads to post your flyers for you. I like your idea about requiring them to show proof of placement by sending you a digital pic and the location of the flyers. My concern here though is how do you verify that they are continuing to put the flyers up for you after the first placement? They could just simply use the same photo from their initial placement and tell you that they are placing flyers there when they are doing nothing. Have you devised a way to keep them honest after their first week? The second question I have for you is if you do any testing using these methods to see which areas are pulling and which aren't? If so would you mind sharing with those of us that have purchased your product how you do it? Thanks, Jim |

I have given some thought to this myself. What I think will work is to forward out of your domain through a site. Just an immediate forward, and have analytics on the site. Then you will have pretty good geography stats. What do you think? Seb

Both very good questions. 1. We keep all the photos they send us and it's pretty easy to look at 2 images or 10 for that matter and find duplicates. Additionally we look at the photos meta info. A couple of people have tried this already and they do not get paid. 2. I must confess I have not done any tracking for this. I probably should but this thing quickly went from a what if I tried cork boards to a big money generating side business so fast that I never stopped to count. I know this is not the smartest thing to do but it all happened so fast. Sebulba made a good suggestion where a meta refresh on your domain would carry analytics code. That still won't break it down on the store level but offers a better level of tracking than I currently employ.

One fool-proof way to make sure that each photo is current is to have them hold up the daily newspaper next to the flyer (making sure the shot is close enough to see the current date on the paper.) Quote:

I've hired a few people off of craigslist and have 50 fliers scheduled to go out. I'm curious though, what do you tell the people who demand to know who you work for? I've been telling people that I work for an outsourcing company that works for big companies like eharmony. All I do is fine the people to put the fliers up. thats put most of their minds to ease. Some of them are freaks tho. Guess I dont wanna hire them anyway haha

| I went to office max, printed the fliers, and then mailed them to people. That was way too much work. I didn't realize you could have something printed at another location for pickup. Can you pre-pay for it as well?

Heres a question for ya.. you mentioned that you "refresh" the offers once a week. Do you keep putting the same flier back or do you ever switch it up?

Brad, Just purchased this today and I'm anxious to get started. I spoke to my AM at Maxbounty, told her what I want to promote this offline via flyers and she said they don't allow flyers but they do allow placing an ad in a local newspaper. Anyone else get this? Any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks for the help. C |

I had 40 fliers posted around 3 cities on Friday. So far no traffic has been generated from them but I expected it to be slow because of the holiday. Hopefully things pick up tomorrow.

Would offers from clickbank work as well with this as CPA offers? or does it have to be offers that the person pays nothing for?

CPA is a double edged sword because they are usually loaded with cross sales and that throws some people off. Clickbank offers are straight forward but sometimes too straight forward for the grocery store patron. Most would rather do a free sample with shipping offer than a $47 ebook. Just my experience.
