Yes, PDF is fine for editing, I just can't save the edits.

I have figured out the problem I think, but don't know if I can fix it without upgrading my Word. It seems that in Word versions 2003 and earlier, you cannot open .docm files.

I am still researching this to see if there is a fix to it. If there are any computer people reading this who have any suggestions, suggest away!

Why don't you just use Open Office. Great open source software! Pretty hard to beat Free...

Just noticed your comments regarding editing with OO which you are using. I believe if you move things over from word into OO it should work. The following resource may help a little...

That's a great resource, Dave. I will see if it has what I need to edit Brad's templates. I could just upgrade my Word, but I keep dragging my feet about that. The fact that it costs so much just for an upgrade kind of pisses me off. That was why I downloaded OO in the first place.

Whenever I have problems with a particular filetype, I upload it to Google Documents and change it. They allow you to choose from several filetypes, usually one will work. If nothing else, you can edit and print the document from within google docs.

This WSO looks great and am very interested and excited. Is anyone still having success with this system?

Also Brad does this WSO explain how to find these cork boards? Do you have to pay to post your ads or get permission just trying to understand how you post these fliers?

Do some recon work before hand. Check your grocery store, laundry, coffee shops, apts building lobbies etc. for cork boards. If you see lots of them it will be easy in your area.

Are they normally in the same places, like the grocery stores would the majority be located at the entrance/exit of the building or different location?

Also if you're posting this on craigslist to be outsourced in another city, do you tell them where the boards are located or make them find the boards themselves. As this would be an issue if you don't physically go to these places.

When you outsource you ask the worker to 1. find the stores and 2. take a photo of the corkboard with your flyers in order to get paid.

I just contacted Brad, so he said it was ok to post. If you guys would like me to pin up fliers for you I would be willing to put up 2 fliers one cork board for 4 dollars. I live in Raleigh, N.C., so im in a medium size city with lots of places to put fliers. I am definitely more trustworthy than someone you would find off of Craigslist. Just send me a p.m. and will discuss it further.
