Just bought. This is exactly what I need for my automated blogs. I've been using Ezine Articles for content and needed something to make them unique. |

This works great with Ezine articles and I use it on secondary blogs with articles from Ezine that I dont want to repost on my authority blogs. Effectively getting 3 or 4 times more content from 1 article

Interesting tool indeed, but my question is, if this is BLACK HAT, and can it get you banned from Google etc. by using it?

Short answer... NO. Technical answer... No, the same thing is actually shown to both google and the vistor, but it is googles decision to not parse client side scripts/html entity codes/javascript etc. Non technical answer... Google looks for stuff it wants to see. DupeMagic just changes some of the content to stuff it has no want for but still shows relevant content. Nothing BlackHat there. Hope that is clear and answers your question. Dave

Does this plugin take into account the percentage of keywords used? Being that the plugin will take some of the article and convert to code, I would assume then that the keyword percentage will be too high for the page?

Hi Dave, Interesting use of javascript. From your demo video, I see how you overcome your content being labeled as duplicate. What about getting your blog content indexed and ranking in the search engines? The blog used in the demo does have at least one of the obfusticated posts indexed ... I noticed that the plugin doesn't change the tag pages. It would seem that by using this method, your posts might lose some of the intended meaning if you are targeting specific keyword(s) and "confuse" the search engines. From the blog used in the video, content on one of the pages that reads "there are many individuals, possibly just like you," turns into "t**** *** **** individuals, possibly j**t **** you,". Are the search engines seeing "t individuals, possibly j t you"? Ultimately, the question is does this help you get pages indexed and ranked high in the search engines resulting in more sales, etc.? Thanks. Dave |

So does this use hidden html characters to make it unique like other plugins do?

In the admin settings there are options to allow for the protecting/exclusion of specific longtail keywords so as you said the meaning of your target keyword will not be lost. Dave

But, If you assume all words are equal in the eyes of google however, then the keyword density will be increased because as you said some words are removed. This can be countered by simply using less of the keyword on the page than you would do normally. Dave Let me know if that makes sense...

I purchased and installed the script. Installation is very easy and smooth and the script works as promised. I did have a small issue. All I can say is that Dave was FAST with a response and solution to the issue! Great customer service! Thanks Phil G |

Just a quick note... We have found that some of Brian Gardners themes dont react well to DupeMagic... But. We have a solution and will be emailing all buyers the solution soon. We just have to get a page up for it. It's a small code change. Like we said...lifetime upgrades and support for all our products ![]() Dave |

Hi Dave- This looks interesting and something I have been looking for. Just a quick question. Does this make every post to the blog unique or can you specific it to make only posts to certain categories unique. For example I have a plugin that pulls ebay and amazon products, and I also typical post some content I have written to my blogs. I dont want the code on those to be changed. So I would like to use this plugin but if it changes the code on all posts and you can not sleect it by category then it might not work for my needs. If if does not do that would you be willing to add that as a feature? It would be the perfect software if you could set it up to make a certain category uqniue. Thanks |

I've added it to 3 blogs to test it. So far so good. The sites looks good and my kw rankings have not been hurt. Actually they've increased a bit but these are very new blogs so it's still too early to say. I'm happy with what I see so far. |

DupeMagic is programmed to replace some content with javascript. The percentage replaced varies from blog to blog allowing the same content to be presented on different domains and be unique. The software you refer to replaces ALL content with javascript. Google 'chooses' NOT to read javascript so...with 'other' plugins the WHOLE page/post is blank to Google. Also, with DupeMagic you can specify key phrases to leave alone in the post/page, or the whole page/post or a whole category. Other plugins can only specify a whole post/page. This is one of the reasons that we believe DM is the best software of its type out there....along with price and customer service ![]() Hope that helps. Dave

If im right this plugin does exactly the same as the Wordpress Uniquefier plugin (no aff. link) The only difference is the price (or is there any other difference???) |

So, am i wrong with thinking its the same as Uniquefier? Uniquefier leaves a trace in the sourcecode, something like importa An example can be found here (i just googled a page): www . institutoesperanto . com.ar Check the sourcecode of the website there. Does your plugin works the same (javascript obfuscation)?

Uniquifier flat out replaces the entire post with javascript, while our plugin only replaces a percentage of words with javascript, some with html entity codes and it will split some words into new words. The key here is the creation of diffrerent content depending on the blog that it is running on even if the same content is used. Hope that helps. Dave

Dave, does this plugin work on post's already posted or is it only for post's made after the plugin is installed ? Also will it mess up post's made by Ebay plugins like phpbayPro or can it be used safely with these plugins? Thanks, Steve |

1. Yes it rewrites all posts on a blog already populated. However, once you add the post ID numbers in the admin panel DupeMagic will not 'work its magic' on those posts. 2. Yes, it will rewrite any content on a post with phpPro but will not affect links to eBay. Again, you can turn off DupeMagic for these posts in the admin panel. Hope that helps. Dave

I have some reservations regarding the longevity of this approach A blog has 2 primary representations of full content 1. The single posts 2. The RSS feeds The RSS feeds would have to be unmodified - you can't use javascript Thus if you were publishing full articles in the RSS feed, the content would be algorithmically different to what appears on a page. Google does index both, and does compare them (I can't remember reference for that) Thus anyone using this or similar plugins really must publish only excerpts, or risk raising a flag and human inspection. If Google does a human inspection, my gut feeling is they are not going to like this approach to making content unique, and it could bring down not just one site but whole networks. Google can now interpret some javascript, and I think your interpretation of what Google sees as white/grey/black might be slightly off. I wouldn't use this on any site or even server you were not prepared to lose |

Can it now work the other way around - we choose which specific post it will spin content and leave all the rest as is (i.e. we only want the main static page/post to change). Noticed that this is now $47, is that correct? Thanks.

| ![]() Just finished upgrading the plugin to allow for full html content spinning. RSS feeds can now be spun as well as main pages and posts. Synonym switching has been made easier for adding your own synoymns to the database, including an option to generate synonyms offline in the wordpress editor, saving server resources and decreasing page load times. We have dropped the price from $47 to $17 for the duration of the WSO, after which the price will go back up to $47. Thanks for looking. |
