This is similar to what affiliates did with merchant product datafeeds a few years ago (although granted they did it in a less structured way as they instantly created a huge site rather than growing it 'naturally' over time). Regardless, these datafeed sites initially
did well in the serps as each page was targeted to a specific product and keyword phrase but the results where short lived as these duplicate content pages clogged up the web and Google gave priority to the 'original' merchants pages...

Just remeber to add some regular content does not take much to make them more unique and the extra content gives you some more phrases to target.
I also found that adding ebay auctions also makes you more unique that just having amazon mix

To My_Addict_Mind ... as I barely know what I'm doing with WordPress, I may not be the best person to help ... but I did discover when I made my first sitemap that I had not set up my permalinks correctly, and this might be the problem for you, too.

The video said to make a custom PM called: /%category%/%post%/, but I checked at WP and their recommendation was
/%category%/postname%/

After I edited my permalinks, my site map generated the correct page names. Now, if I can just figure out how to edit my blogroll, cause I don't like all the stuff that is there now.

PS I submitted my sitemap last night and I am on the first page of Google today (#3 or 4 depending on how you count duplicate sites). My kw is portable beach umbrella. Small ticket item but small competition and I really wanted to make sure I got ranked for my first blog.

Hi,
The process outlines a fast track to get a site up, populated and ranked fast. If you really think you can just leave it at then then sadly you are mistaken, any time invested into an affiliate site should also make sure that the site adds value and structuring a site focused in on a niche with relevant content and comments from Amazon along with some of your own bits and pieces thrown in does have value for any visitor searching on that niche. That value converts into sales and my Monthly Amazon check is enough proof that these sites add value for me.
Cheers
Nick

Thanks Shane, totally agree. These sites can be real money spinners, trust me, I know. So it is worth a little extra effort on the sites you know are working well.

If you're still browsing this thread, why aint you in already? The amount of views and post clearly shows that this system works. I am proof of this! The advantages of this system is that it's sooooooo wayyyyyyyy outttttttt the "make money online" which means less competition for you.

By having a keyword domain, you are just super targetted right ? I tell you only about one hundred clicks away from a sale. Its a matter of time. My first site is converting at around 1.97% and has generated about $85.23 and I'm sitting at position 3. Was at number 1 and then slipped, went back to 1 and now at 3. It's only a matter of time until I settle at numero UNO which will increase my affiliate commission. That site is a "set and forget" site now. I no longer work on it as I'm letting it settle in the SE.

As always, if Nick's not about, feel free to PM. I live and breath this Niche Marketing Model

Is there some change happening at Amazon in Aug that might affect this software?

Thanks for this info, I'm going to try changing mine and see what happens. I've always set my permalinks at /%postname%.html - but I used Nick's suggestion and these are the best results I've ever had. But i did have a glitch when I submitted the sitemap. I think I'll try this way on one of them just to see.

Good luck, Donna, hope the permalink structure works for you (and I'm going to feel really bad if it messes up your results!)

Also, a big thank you to the nice guy who PM'ed me with instructions on deleting blog links. Too easy!

All the best,

Hey Nick,

I am glad to see your site has made it back up to where it belongs .

I sent you a pm the other day asking if you to have a quick look at a site that i built as its not performing in the serps, and also about a couple of the recomended products you have in the NMCP.

If you get a chance i would really appreciate your opinion before i embark on a mission to build many more sites (and build them in the wrong manner!).

Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated,

Regards

Paul

PS. it is very cool to see so many NMCP members doing well with these Amazon sites!

Just bought! I buy everything that Nick sells as his methods really do work which makes such a pleasant change from most of the junk that you see around. Nick leaves no stone unturned and I know from my experience as an Amazon Associate that this will make money.

Thank you for another great product. Highly recommended to other Warriors.

Here is a little review. I built this site Tues. Stubble Trimmer If you search google for its keyword - stubble trimmer - you will see I am #5 in google. It isnt pretty right now. I had to completely throw the site away and rebuild it. BE CAREFUL WITH THE ONE PLUGIN (S & R). YOU CANNOT UNDO THE CHANGES.

Niick: I sent you a PM with some questions about the control panel. Can you answer those questions please. That way I can get started with phase two.

Cato: You are going to have a higher bounce rate. To stop this, make a static first page with some content and maybe a top review. It might be that the phrase or niche you chose is one where people want some information before clicking a link. I am currently running around %45.00 across all my sites.

Nick: I have noticed that this thread has actually turned into a little community of people willing to help each other. It is kinda refreshing. Why dont you throw a members only forum up on your site so we can all communicate and share info without giving to much info in the WSO thread.

-

Good post - Google does have a special disdain for 'thin affiliate sites,' and it's understandable. Just imagine if every time you searched for virtually anything, you got a blog with nothing more than a bunch of Amazon or eBay products (or others). I've been online since 1989, and back then it was easy for spammers to dominate ANY search engine around. You never knew what you'd get when you did a search, but you could almost be sure the search was heavily manipulated - keyword stuffing etc.

I don't have this WSO, although I will probably buy it, just to see if there's anything I'm not using on my Amazon sites that may benefit me. It seems to be priced very reasonably too.

If you're familiar with BANS (Build a Niche Store), many of those sites have gone away because of being only thin affiliate sites. Although some people created great, original content populated sites, the bulk of the BANS sites were garbage. Install the script, enter the category number and your eBay info., and then off to the next site...garbage.

It is so easy to avoid by just putting in a little work. It can almost be automated by using a plugin like Caffeinated Content (or something free) or something similar, and getting some related articles delivered right to your blog. Just rewrite them and you have original, valuable content that Google will love. It's much better than having a high-ranking site that's making money one day, and a site that has been de-indexed, never to be seen again, the next. Of course some people would rather throw up a huge number of sites continously, make a few dollars for a while, and repeat. That seems like more work to me in the long run.

I use phpBay Pro for eBay sites. I get 'original' content using the CC plugin, rewrite it, and I'm good to go. I also write a short 'intro,' maybe a paragraph or two on each specific product page (eg. Gibson guitars). Just take some Wiki info. and rewrite it for the product 'intro.' Maybe a very short history of the manufacturer or something relative.

My graphic design skills are awful, but I still make money.

There are related videos that add value to some of my sites also. I'll add YouTube videos (using the CC plugin also), keeping everything in tact to respect the video creator, but also adding some original content under the posting. It takes a little more work, but you get out of it what you put into it.

Most people are obsessed with getting something for nothing. If you do just a little, you'll be far ahead of the masses.

To think you can just throw up a blog, only stick some products from Amazon's feed up there and always (long term) dominate Google's (or any other) SERPS is not realistic. Do a little extra and have a site that will hang in there for the long haul. Of course always do what you have been regarding backlinks, etc. I'll also write some articles linking to different pages on my sites (deeplinking).

Quality is ALWAYS better than quantity...for the long term.

The second link in your sig redirects to an affiliate link. Is that allowed on WF?

Since you havent bought the WSO, you have no idea about the program and one of the freebies which will allow you to dominate google - especially if you follow Nick on his site.

So...Stop commenting on WSOs you havent purchased.

No doubt, it was a great post. But, this isnt the thread for that.

WSO threads are supposed to be about the WSO in question. It is not for general information - especially from some one who hasnt purchased the WSO.

If he wanted to say that, he should go start a new thread in the main forum.

My comments were in no way meant to be negative towards the WSO. If you had read, I'm buying it myself!! There looks to be good information there, surely worth the very modest price, even though I'm using the ReviewAZON plugin for Amazon, have several sites started already, and may not get as much out of it as someone starting from scratch.

I was also not commenting specifically on the WSO tactics, since I DON'T OWN IT YET. If part of the method is adding your own, original content, then I shouldn't have taken up the space here even mentioning it.

I just wanted to maybe save people from getting a good thing going, only to have it jerked from beneath them, just in case the WSO doesn't include the importance of adding your own original content.

Others have commented here on the value of original material, even the WSO creator himself I believe. A little original content can help tremendously, and it's so easy to do. I doubt recommending that could undermine the sale of, or the operation of his methods. I've seen too many money-generating sites here one day and gone the next, just because they were of the 'thin affiliate site' variety. Often leaving the owner scratching their heads, wondering what happened.

"Since you havent bought the WSO, you have no idea about the program and one of the freebies which will allow you to dominate google - especially if you follow Nick on his site."

Lastly, if my comments were somehow out of line, which wasn't my intent (and I don't see how they could have been), I'm sure the mods. will make me aware of it. I'll even go ahead and apologize now if I offended anyone but you.

Until then, you take care of you, and I'll take care of me, okay ?

If adding original content to your sites is a bad thing, or somehow throws a wrench in your plans to dominate Google, I'd rethink your strategy. Many have tried to dominate Google as you state it, but many have also failed, long term.

Well apparently I've been living under a rock for the past week and a half!

I'll be purchasing this later today so I can't comment on the product yet, but I just wanted to give an update on the site I created following the methods in Nick's NMCP. (See the testimonials in the first post of this thread to read what I previously wrote).

So far this month I've made two big sales, one just last night. $250 product and $199 product. It's a very competitive niche with big ticket items. The two sales were for "budget" products.

That's only roughly $20 in commission, but I set this site up just as a test and have largely been sitting on my butt just waiting to see what would happen.

I think combining solid backlinking methods and original content along with the Amazon products is going to be killer. Not to mention rapidly scalable.

Funny enough I just bought a second domain last night that will be perfect for this...

I agree, Matt and I'm looking at each of my blogs right now to see how I can add in this WSO to make them even better. Already added it to one a couple of days ago. It did take a little tweaking on the discussion settings to allow the comments to show but other than that it worked fine. And the linking methods Nick gave are more than I was doing, so that has helped a LOT.

Is interlinking our blogs OK, or is it not acceptable to Google? Will it get our websites de-indexed?

Will appreciate your advice.

While this was really said in jest, I would stay away from building interlinked networks of new domains as this could be seen as web spam. That said however, as these domains age, there is no reason not to interlink sites that are in someway related, as long as the links are not reciprocal links as that would achieve nothing. Think more along the lines of Link wheels.

Over the past few days I have been spending a little more time working on Paged blog content as well as incorporating some additional content like video and articles.

The electric razors for men website is now Ranking #2/3 (depending on how you interpret indented listings.)

I absolutely second this idea !

I think it would be great to have a forum not just for this product, but also for the NCMP product, in general.

It will be a great place to share ideas and successes, and motivate and help like-minded members, like Charles said.

Nick, would you please consider this ?

Nick,

Is that possible you to set up a forum inside NCMP site? It would be not as open as here on wso board. I think it would be great for all of us to discuss and change ideas.
Thx,

Joe

Hi - I bought last week but have only just got around to building my first site. It looks like the developer of the theme that is recommended has upgraded the theme/released a new version (which is the one now available for download) . I am not sure of the code snippets provided by Nick still apply to this new version as the coding looks different.

Nick, could you check it out?

The video said to make a custom PM called: /%category%/%post%/, but I checked at WP and their recommendation was

Hi Nick,

This is a great idea to talk with people with the same interest.
At the moment we are discussing too many things in the WSO topic.
This should be discussed between buyers of your product.
I'm in if you add a forum for members to your site

Default Re: Automate Wordpress and Amazon: New Domain ContentFilled in Minutes Ranked on Google Page 1 in 3h

I setup 2 of these sites back on Thursday night and then socialbookmarked them to get them indexed quickly. After two hours both sites got indexed with one site listed on page 1 and other site on page 9. Then on Saturday both sites were missing from the SERPs. They were not listed for their keywords on the first 20 pages. I did a "site:url" in google on both sites and it listed pages for both sites except the top level domain for each. So today I did a "site:url" on both sites again, but this time only one of the sites (the one that originally was on page 1) came back with results. The other site showed "Your search - site:url - did not match any documents." It seems like the site is no longer indexed.

Is this normal to get a site indexed initially then have it deindexed after days later? Or did Google pull this site for good from it's index? Should I be concerned about this or will it come back again? Anyone have this happend before for brand new site whether you setup this type of Amazon affiliate site or regular Wordpress blog?

Update: I'm now noticing that when I do "site:url" for the site that was on page 1 before that most of the pages are no longer index except for one now. Before there were like 19 pages indexed. I checked in my webmaster tool and it shows no errors. Is something happening that I need to be aware of? It seems all pages are getting deindexed and then the whole site might become deindexed? Anyone have any input on this???

Hello. Is there anybody else having issues with uploading the
provided code snippets (header, index phps and style css) to
overwrite the default files of lightwork 1.6.4?

Everytime I uploaded the given code snippets, I get a blank
page. I only see the dark background of the lightwork template.

To my understanding, the edited three files, when uploaded,
should work turnkey. They don't--at least, in my case.

I am having the same problems with Lightwork 1.6.4. As I higlighted earlier this evening this theme seems to have gone through some major changes in the last week or so and I am just wondering whether the code snippets supplied still apply? I think they were written for previous versions of the theme. Also couldn't see where to put the 'site description'

It seems to be OK for sites to drop out of the SERPS after a few days. But if you keep building natural backlinks, your site will come back - just like the men's razor example.

As far as the site that is showing no results, that might be a problem.

On August 15th Amazon will require that all " "calls" from our stores will need to be "signed" so that they can "authenticate" the "call" (request for product data) as actually coming from the rightful owner of the Amazon Access Key.

This is an added layer of security we will have to have implemented on our store sites by August 15th.

Will you have something to get around this by Aug 15th?

This is one of my first WSO purchases in a long time, actually my 2nd, as I grabbed Nicks NMCP before this one.

As someone who finds himself somewhat disorganized what Nick has put together is simple to follow and enough info to TACK ACTION on this method.

I've yet to implement this current WSO as I've completed going thru the materials just today however there's gold in simplicity.

Will you make a grand in 90 days or less? Not sure at this time as it depends of course on your efforts and how good you are at locating profitable niches BUT... this is scalable and I find Nicks products to be very refreshing and most important detailed and step by step.

That said I think anyone with some basic understanding of setting up a domain, hosting and installing WP, Word Press, will have a great method to build on with this WSO.

Other than that Nick I agree with others as it would be great to have a forum set up for this. Possibly could take some pressure off you Nick in the long run with updates on these template changes and what not. Members might be able to pull together giving help and guidance with our areas of expertise.

Monday I'll be building out hopefully 2 sites maybe more as having to deal with some family issues but this method seems to be a good starter for those dealing with time constraints.

Well done Nick!

It seems that the theme has been updated since my video report was created. Here is what I am doing to address this:

1.) The Original theme which is compatible with my code snippets is now available to download from the NMCP
2.) I am also working on creating new code snippets today for the updated version of the theme.

Thanks
Nick

It does make a difference. the difference is that you would have to work extra hard to rank well with a sub domain or folder.

The actual domain has more strength in the search engines. Anothe problem is if you have

domain.com/niche1
domain.com/niche2
domain.com/niche3

if you're main domain gets shuffled for any reason, then it will affect your 3 niches. Might even possibly wipe out your 3 income streams. Diversifying is important but do it properly.

As I understand the above only applies to API Amazon AWS and does not affect this WSO so we can rest easy.

Well, when the suggested plugin stops working, how ya gonna get your "New Domain Content Filled in Minutes"

I used the plugin before I bought this WSO. I just now went and updated to the latest (FREE) version (which now works with WP 2.8) and it still only asks for "Affiliate ID", so... in it's present version it WON'T WORK when Amazon requires the new API signiture thingy.

I'm sure the author will update it before then. But if not...

I also discovered ReviewAZON before this WSO. And bought it.
Not sure if the "Search/Replace" plugin will work with it though. I have to have a test at that.

I have to disagree. If you actually look at the .php code for the Amazon Autoposter plugin it's merely scraping the html content from specific div tags.

As far as I can tell it's not using the API at all. The only thing that would temporarily break this plugin is if Amazon did a significant website redesign and renamed all of their div's.

Well, I hope you're right and my worry is unfounded.

I actually like it for what it does, and my daughter has several IPK type toy blogs auto-posting with it.
