Ok now that I have purchased this, I need a little clarification regarding the amazon program.

Does the Amazon affiliate program have any country restrictions? I haven't been into Amazon and so dont have much info about it.

btw, this WSO is really cool purely for the potential it has. It can be a completely "Set and forget" setup and a good way to get some additional income. I will put this into effect sometime this week after I get the Amazon questions clarified

Thanks in advance!

I am just getting started on this today. Does Amazon have stats on products sold? Does it show what is their hot products anywhere?

How are sales going for everybody? Childrens golf clubs? Portable beach umbrellas?

Hi Dave,
If you are refering to links in Wordpress then:
  1. Login to your WP Admin Area
  2. Under Links, click on edit
  3. You can thene delete or edit exiting links
  4. Click on Add Link to add a new one
Hope that answers your question?
Cheers

To my knowledge, Amazon do not provide exat number of products sold, however there are two key areas you can get a good idea of popular products from:
  1. Browse into a product category, then click "Bestsellers" link along the top. This will give you bestselling items in each category.
  2. Another option, again browse into a product category and then click on the "Most wished for..." link

There used to be a section called "Movers & Shakers" which was a great way to find product whose popularity was increasing, however Amazon seem to have done away with this? (Or I'm just blind and can't find it anymore)

Cheers
Nick

Is there a minimum exact search volume you look for? 1000? would you bother with 300 or so?

What competition rules do you use in quotes?

Thanks

Hi,
It totally depends on the Niche you are in and the value of the product being sold. 300 might sound like something not worth pursuing, however If it is a $1000 and I sell 1 of them a month, then it's making a profit.
All profit is good, no matter how big or small.
Cheers

You mentioned to register the .org if .com is not available.
Can you explain why I should register ,org and not .net or .info?

It is a little tricky. But I used Nick's suggestion about the "Bestsellers" link and found one right away. 60,500 exact searches and 5490 competition.

Good one...The competition is in quotes right? I am probably over analyzing it...I am trying to think of products that people would buy through Amazon...people probably buy everything at one time or another...also trying to really focus on buying keywords...I'll loosen up a bit and see what I can find

yes, competition was in quotes. I'm still having a tough time with keywords so I consider myself lucky to have found it. But I do feel a little easier about it just working on setting up these blogs. So evidently it's one of those things that comes easier with practice. I HOPE!

Will you have something to get around this by Aug 15th?

Hello all,

I don't see the quotes, I only see competition as very low, low, average, high, very high.... represented by the bar, right?

Thanks!

The fast track got my sites indexed within 4 days. 2 on the 1st page of google, one on the 2nd, and one on the 9th (not sure what I did wrong there.)

Now I have to work on the SEO to boost them up and get a couple reindexed

Open google in a new browser and put the search phrase in it. Then you will see a number of competing sites. That bar really only represents Adwords competitors. That is what I was taught.

Good point,i still think that nobody is making sales.
Setup the site and get indexed is very easy, but getting sales is the other side of the story.

One of my sites got it's first sale yesterday. Two items, one of which had nothing to do with the subject at hand...nearly £86 in total of which I get 5% = £4.30.

Just having five days like that a month would equal £20-odd per month. It took about 3 hours to set up...imagine building 100 such sites (two months of work?) and making £2,000 p/month - not a bad return, or flipping them for say, £99 a time. It obviously gets easier and quicker setting up these sites too once you get used to the fine tuning - I could knock one up now in an hour or two.

Here's one of mine which is ranking 1st page for its two main keywords in the UK: professional hair dryer & professional hairdryer

Professional Hair Dryer

I have built 4 others which have just been indexed in Google but I can't find them yet under the search terms - I'm hopeful they will soon.

Hope that helps those sitting on the fence,

Iain

Yes, DinhTa, that is where I got the number for how many people were searching for that keyword. And then I went to the google search and typed in the same keyword with quotation marks to see how many competing sites there were.

LOL These are the first sites I've ever INTENTIONALLY had indexed so I'm very happy! I've only been at this for 3 months and I know zilch about SEO and keywords and all that other stuff you need to know to be successful at IM. I have 2 days a week to work at this and an hour here and there in between. I've put up around 20 blogs and tried and tried to figure this system out on my own. And I have 3 sites on the first page of Google now that I put there myself.

The way I see it, there are 2 basic steps to IM. You need to be seen first, and now I know that is possible. Then you need to know how to sell to your visitors, and that I'm still working on. Knowing what they're looking for and choosing the right keywords is a big part of that and this program is the first program (out of MANY) that I've tried that finally shed some light on that subject.

It's too early to see my Amazon results for yesterday, but as of yesterday morning I had had 118 clicks on items on my sites. 118 Clicks! I have had something from Amazon on at least 3 other sites since the day I started and never had more than a total of 4 clicks. And those 118 came with no effort other than setting up those sites. Imagine what will happen when I actually start marketing them. BTW - one of those sites is a Halloween site - and it got the most clicks. AND it's not one of the sites on the first page.

This WSO isn't just about the Amazon plug in. Anyone could find that and put it to use. It's the whole combination - keywords and site configuration and backlinking, etc. Each of these steps can be found and explained in any number of different places. But Nick put them together in just the right way that they finally clicked with me.

Excited? Hell yes I'm excited! I've learned a lot from this WSO and for the first time since I started I can actually picture myself quitting my crappy job. And when I do, I'm going to drink my first beer to Nick!

If you read all the comments on the post, including mine, you will see many people, including myself reporting sales. If you pick a bad Niche or keyword term that is not a "buying" term, you probably won't make many sales, in such a case it is not the system that is failing but the Niche and keyword choice that is failing.

Beamer...I think we are in the same place...about 3 months but I have not really gotten anywhere. I can rank sites as well but my sales thru clickbank are slow. I am getting to work on these sites today. 118 clicks is good in my opinion...congrats...keep me updated on sales

Good Luck

Great story Iain, thank you for sharing. I tell you I have the pleasure of seeing what so many other people like Iain are doing and achieving with these sites. Unfortunately many of them don't use WF or cannot comment due to low post counts, but what really gets me excited is how people are taking the basic concepts and then adding their own twists to it.
Thanks again
Nick

Trump, I haven't had any success with clickbank, either. But my problem has always, always been keywords and getting indexed.

I just spent the last couple of hours taking all my blogs through Nick's indexing steps and I've been adding in this Amazon on some of them, too. On my older sites with the crappy keywords, I figure the Amazon keywords will help my visibility.

Hang in there! 3 months isn't really that long to be working at something. Especially if you're like me and didn't know anything to start with. Whenever I start wondering if I'm heading in the right direction, I start picturing how much closer I am to my goals now than I was the day I started this. I'm actually sitting here PLANNING to quit my job now. I've never been this close before! I know it's still a way off, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's shining right on that stupid time clock

Nick,

with nguyen offering this service also, you will stop support? Are you still continue to add more value to your program or this will die-off ? Thanks.

Don't understand me wrong,I also really like your system and it work,i'm sure.
Your system is easy to understand and to use.

Nick (nichemarketninja)

Not having bought your system as yet but still pondering and reading these posts. I was wondering if the system could be applied to using different wordpress themes with which you can include Adsense for instance, add your own content/reviews and update content via RSS feeds?

Thank you

No, had not planned to, will check the dates through, looks like some interesting speakers will be there this year. I'll be there for a private NMCP seminar.

Hi Jack,
Michaels service offering is completely his own, it just happens to use the Fast Track method as the Platform. NMCP/Fast Track will live on and continue to evolve as long I am making money from Niche marketing, and given that it is my full time job, and has been for 6 years, there is no end in sight, just more information/videos and other money making content.
Cheers
Nick

Absolutely, the sky is the limit. Fast Track provides the basic fundamentals for achieving results with this method and this can be applied with any theme or additional of extra content, in fact it is recommended.

HI Nick

I have been doing my keyword research and found what I thought was a gem only to be confused with the traffic Google is telling me this key phrase is getting. I used the external keyword tool and also the other google tool provides @ Search-based keyword tool Why such a massive difference between these keyword tools on the same key phrase?

I setup a new site today, checked some of the comments on the posts, and they are showing dates for the future, i.e. July 2, July 3 ,etc. That is gonna look akward with reviews of products from dates that have not happened yet? How do I fix this issue in the Amazon plugin? Anyone else experience this as well?

Nick,

Given any thought to that members only forum? We are trying to help each other, but at the same time not give out too much info on your WSO.

Let us know your thoughts on this.

Hi Keith ,
I'd have to take a look at the keywords to establish where the difference is, I normally see very close, if not identical results between the two tools using Broad match. Using exact match and geographical/global targeting could be causing some discrepencies. I'd treat the adwords tools as being more accurate if there are differences. Email me and we can discuss further.
Thanks
Nick

I'd contact the plugin vendor to get more details on this, and will investigate on my sites too.

Ditto! Are we members if we bought your WSO? Just checking because I've only just now had time to start clicking around some of the other stuff on the page and it said something about not being a member of master class.

I just finished watching your video about your love/hate relationship with Amazon and I got your hint at the end. Awesome results, BTW!

Thanks. Nothing beats a real world example and I applaud your courage and willingness to actually post one. I bought this WSO because of you and ... now I just need to make some time to soak it in. Have always been curious about generating revenue with Amazon and am looking forward to checking it out.

Cheers.
