I used Adwords, but purely because I'm a newbie at PPC and it seems the easiest interface to get started with.

There is absolutely no reason the approach wouldn't work with the other PPC networks though.

Not sure about PPV because I've never used it.

A very good question, and one that can be aimed at all IM related products if you ask me!

Although the campaign is still profitable for me with this specific product, I do not expect anyone to simply copy this technique using the same product, as it can be applied to anything.

Seriously, I don't mind if it gets copied though, because I've expanded into other areas, and I genuinely want to help people that are struggling with understanding what works in PPC.

I really struggled, and it wasn't until I had this success that it all 'clicked' for me. Once you get that, it's easier to move into other niches, other products, and replicate that success.

The next question you should ask is "if you genuinely want to help people, why are you not giving this away?"

Answer: there is soooo much free information on the internet related to Internet Marketing, and people get into a habit of simply downloading things, taking a cursory glance and then putting it on the pile.

I firmly believe that people will take more action with something they have paid for, no matter how small the amount, and it's only then people will start to see results.

1) Scalable to an extent, but as you can see, I wasn't getting loads of clicks each month. This is more about driving higher conversions. It was quite a niche product, so limited in the size of the market available. More scalable in the sense you can quickly deploy for other products to multiply your income.

I'm running it on another niche at the moment, and although 1300% ROI was my peak, I am still seeing at least 500%.

I'm still a Newbie when it comes to PPC though. Tracking and testing is really something I need to sort out. Scaling up is another thing I need to learn. Given that, it did surprise me how easy PPC could be for certain things.

I've actually started dabbling with MSN Adcentre. I set up a campaign a few days ago, got 7 impressions and 1 click within a matter of minutes. The 1 click cost me 59p (around $0.96), and I made a $32 commission off it! Impressions then dropped right off with Adcentre though, and I'm still trying to work out why. As I say, I'm still learning at this. But still, not a bad result for a campaign that was live for a whole 20 minutes!
