I got excited when I watched the video about how this plugin works. It looked like the perfect answer to a problem I have on one blog in particular. And it does work perfectly, technically speaking, but I've got a problem and a question: 1) The free pop-up works beautifully, but it messes up some code in my side-bar. I don't know what they're called, but you know those boxes with 3 tabs labeled Popular, Comments and Tags? With the plugin installed it turns into one big long column, with all the information from each tab shown stacked on top of each other. Deactivating the plugin didn't help, I had to delete it before things would revert to normal. EDIT: I just noticed that in the free version the pop-up also displays when the order button is clicked (which I suppose is logical, because technically that would be leaving the site!). But that could be annoying if you're a visitor who's ready to get out your wallet. Just wondering, does the Action pop-up also act in this way, or is it possible to prevent this instance of the pop-up with that one? 2) Your up-sell looks really slick and I almost bit, but I didn't see a specific example of the main feature that I liked about the free pop-up - namely that it automatically redirects the underlying page to the specified url. Also, all the examples I saw were lightboxes. I'd like to have the option of using a plain old pop-up instead of a lightbox. Does the pop-up in your up-sell have these two options, and maybe I just didn't see examples of them? Even if the action pop-up has all the options I'm looking for and I get it - if that were also to break the code in my side-bar, do you offer support for something like that...? I use a premium magazine-style theme that works very well for this niche, so I'm not crazy about the idea of changing the theme to try to fix the issue. Sorry if I rambled a little, I hope all this makes sense! |

Hi Robert Just about to download your Exit Rescue Plugin - looking forward to testing it out. Looks as though it's going to work really well from your video. By the way like your email opt-in video - never seen anyone do it like that before! Look forward to hearing more in the future. Thanks and best wishes - Dave |

hey Robert, just used the plugin - loved it the first couple of times, think it is awesome! But am wondering why it is redirecting to your salespage thereafter? Am I required to purchase the full version to remove this feature? Just wondering if i've missed something.. Thanks! |

| I tried it again and it still redirects to your sales page? when I first tried it I didnt put anything in the url field since it says you can leave it blank for none. "Redirect URL: (When They Try To Exit - Leave Blank For None)" but this time I tried and put my homepage in the field and after clicking save changes and then updating site, it still goes to http://www.exitrescue.com/ and shows your popup message, not the one I wrote in the field? |

Hello guys, I have a question about exit rescue pop up. It works for me like that - when a person is about to exit from a website the pop up shows up asking to check out an affiliate website or to leave, meanwhile this affiliate website starts to load through my affiliate link. Is it against the rules of Clickbank and other affiliates, or even law? Thanks! |

Popups are definitely not against the law. Google AdWords doesn't like them so you shouldn't use them on your AdWords landing pages. But, most of the top ranking Clickbank landing pages use this type of popup, so it's definitely allowed on CB. | |
