I never spend more than 1/2 hr a day doing this, and it's often much less (I don't do it every day). You really can spend as much or as little time as you like.

Believe me I'm very time poor and only have time to do my 'work' online while my little one is taking a nap, so my whole 'work day' is usually only two or three hours so I want to make things as efficient as possible.

And yes I think this would work equally well with other answer sites that allow links.

Just found out that Yahoo Answers have changed a few things so now you need to be a level 2 before your links in the answers will be live.

This is the report from their blog: Yahoo! Answers Blog Archive Yahoo! Answers Update: Level 1 URLs

You can still use this method but you'll need to get to level 2 first. (should only take you a week).

ok, got a few questions before I start - hope you don`t mind

I have several websites in different niches that I would like to link to from Yahoo Answers. I would like to get different Yahoo account for each of my websites.

My questions are:

1) can I go through your suggested steps for, say 2 or 3 different niches (and use different Yahoo accounts) at the same time?

That is, I do the first day steps using 2-3 accounts, second day steps using same accounts, etc.

2) as I want to drive traffic for my squeeze page only, can I have the same squeeze page on different URLs and use them as different ones? For example - mywebsite/squeeze1.html, and mywebsite/squeeze2.html would be different URLs, but the same page opens.

3) How about redirects? (if I promote merchant`s page, or for the same reason as #2)

Hi RichGal,

1) absolutely - you can have as many different niches as you like.

2) yes that could work, but careful not to overdo it. I'd still write some articles and hubs as well pointing to your squeeze page and link to those too. You want to look like you are giving extra info, not just trying to sell something or get people to sign up. But if you freebie is a good offer then it could definately work well

3) Don't do redirects. Especially not to affiliate pages. It looks too shady.

Can you not put links in the body of your answers?

I just had several answers reported as violations - and all I did was link to articles!!

Only put your links in the 'whats your source' section, not the actual body of your answer.
