If you have some examples of press releases I would be grateful if you could send me a PM with them. As I am sure you know there is a special format to follow with press releases to be accepted by most editors.

I sure do! Unless a client insists otherwise, I follow standard issue Press Release guidelines and have not ever had a problem with my releases being accepted by distribution services.
