This looks great but just one question. When using the Obfuscation will the search engines just see it as garbage and not rank it?

No. The obfuscation only occurs on a % of words...mostly stop words like 'the', 'and' , 'no' etc. Google still sees many words just not as duplicate anymore. Also, you can add your keywords and phrases to be ignorded by DM in the admin panel...but remember some of these will be picked up by copyscape just purely on the nature of longtails. Hope that helps. Dave

Looks great! Have you guys had any results with it yet? Would the search engines see it as unnatural when content has changed every time it visits your site? Thanks! Chucky |

I have plenty of blogs ranking for the same keywords using the same content, no problems. Quite the opposite. The search engines love fresh content even when its a previously crawled URL with 'new' content. Look up 'Markov Engine' and think about spinning content in long tail niches ... there's a big giveaway ![]() Hope that helps.

| Okay - just working up a quote for a major project, and need to know whether to include DupeMagic or something else in the project parameters. If you don't want to do a dev package, I understand - just need to know! Melody |

Hi, So does this mean that you could create a 5-10 page simple content site or Adsense site and every time it was crawled it would appear as new content even though you never changed a thing? Or would it be a red flag that you have 'new' content, but the site is static and not growing? Also, it appears there are a growing number of products that are changing the coding of characters or words 'behind the scenes' and leaving the articles viewable to humans. Is this something Google will catch onto eventually and de-index all your sites later or is there no way that an algorithm would catch this? Thanks for answering my questions, Jason |

Thanks for your questions. Crawling a page with spinning content is the same as have a site with something like phpBay on it. The URL is the same but the content changes. There is no problem with these pages at all. Google chooses not to read javascript. They just don't want to deal with it it. So, until they are prepared to crawl a gazzillion sites with javascript content then they are not going to be interested in a small wordpress plugin. Also as our algorithim is different on every blog the footprint is reduced. No other 'product' is scripted like ours. Our methods are unique. Hope that helps. Dave

We are struggling to see how we could support the 'buyers' of a developers site. PM me if you want to discuss this further. Thanks Dave PS We have 1 Melody as unconfirmed in our list on aweber, I hope it's not you.

But that's okay, and I understand the issue. There are alternate plugins that are not are as 'feature rich' but for flipping, they will be okay...just won't use them on my personal blogs ;-) Melody

Dave: In reading one of your responses about uniquefier type plugins are you of the opinion that although they change the source code to make it look unique to the spyders they essentially do not work? I was a little confused by your answer above. Thanks for your time, Rick |

Dave: My confusion was in regard to the gentlemans comment about the WP plugins that add numrtals to th source code to make an article look unique (uniquefier). Below os your response to his question which I did not understand fully "Google chooses not to read javascript. They just don't want to deal with it it. So, until they are prepared to crawl a gazzillion sites with javascript content then they are not going to be interested in a small wordpress plugin." Does the above indicate that those other type pluggins do not work? Thanks, Rick |

Rick To answer your question: Google does not index content inserted into a post using Javascript. If any plugin replaces ALL content on a page using javascript then Goggle will not index it. DupeMagic only uses Javascript in places in WordPress posts and pages. We also use a combination of techniques alonside Javascript replacement. This means that words are indexed. You can also set DupeMagic to ignore specific lontail phrases that you 'want' to appear in the text. The way we 'replace' content is unique. Hope that helps. |

Dave: So correct me if I am wrong in that you are saying that these "other" WP plugins may pass the copyscape test however the posts/pages will not get indexed by the search engines. It also seems that there is a lot of work involved in setting up the alternatives in the article one would post. Does your plugin have a special editor to make that process easier? Also after a period of time wouldn't you output the same changes in the article and therefore it would be considered at dupe content? Thanks, Rick |

Rick DupeMagic has 3 distinct actions. They can be used seperately or together. Please check out the videos above. In regard to Copyscape, if it cant see 'words' due to total Javascript replacement then it will pass the post. We don't replace all the text as I said before AND we can pass Copyscape (with the exception of your 'protected' longtail phrases if they are more than 3 words long). If you just use operation 2 or operation 3 then there is no work on your part when it's set in the admin panel. Dave |

Guys Sorry about this, I thought I was automatically emailed when someone responded to the WSO. Also, I forgot to end the WSO after CB accepted the product. It is now closed at $27 and is now in the Clickbamk marketplace at $47 as I mentioned it would be. For those that posted here trying to get the $27 price please PM me (I still get PM notification emails - thx warrior0112) and I'llk sort you out directly. Thanks. Apologies again. Dave |
