How did Rachel Goodchild become SO fixated on dating and relationships? Surely by your thirties the excitement wears down a little?

Well I got married young, only to find that if perhaps I'd dated a wee bit more I may not have found myself single ten years later.
Research was plainly called for, and research I most certainly did, dating over fifty different guys over a six month period. My “research” paid off in a book about Internet Dating, called Eighty Eight Dates, which was released by Penguin in feb 09.

Since then I have become known as a Dating Guru (other people have called me the Love Nurse, New Zealand's Carrie Bradshaw, and even a Sexpert)

My weekly appearances on Sunrise has morphed into an agony aunt type weekly spot, focussing on advice for anyone about love, relationships and family dramas.
My dating clips have proved to be very popular with them rating highly on the TV3 website. Her blog www.eightyeightdates.com has a growing following amongst the love lost. I get vast numbers of emails every day asking for advice on anything from how to meet that special person, to whether she's really broken up with that guy.

It's a $5 answer to your problem from someone who really DOES care.
