Frequently Asked Questions:

Are there any limits of daily checks of domains?

Well, theoretically no, but technically and basically there are several limits, mostly dictated by free and paid APIs, like MOZ, Whois, Majestic etcetera and especially your computer and browser. Several browser behave different and browser with many add-ons strictly conserve memory for their own tools. Speed and performance will increase, the less add-ons are installed, the emptier the cash and the „cleaner“ the browser coded.

Now some about the cost and add-ons:

Majestic API lookups: 10.000 queries at Majestic are included in the basic one-time-purchase. Additional monthly look-up volumes can be purchased acc. to your needs as a subscription or as purchase. You also can supply your Majestic API.

Now, coming back to performance and speed, this is only a guide around the real performance:

1) For cleaning and scraping domain names there is no limit at all.

2) If you check 50-300 domains in one batch, there is no problem and all functions great, which is in my eyes already unique and outstanding for a tool, that checks all important metrics, old ones like DA/PA/PR or new ones, like CF/TF for FREE!

If any domains are unknown or not recognized, you can re-check them with the integrated (paid by us) API or copy and check this domains with your registrar or another tool.

3) It's only a guide because real world performance varies greatly and most of the problems are to await while live checking domains:

Theoretical maximum limit based on published MOZ free API’s rule of “1 request per 10s" policy and batches of 50 domains“.
This is *throttle* limit applied per api/credentials and means that our server IN TOTAL can only query 300 domains per minute at the MOZ API.

If it doesn’t work like this, we may have:
• Moz is slow / unavailable
• several users running queries*at the same time
• back log in batch*queue from large requests
• total number of millions parallel requests being made to Moz and crashing the MOZ servers, mostly happens on weekends.

So, to answer the question what is realistic maximum, we can only check and see how real world performance works…

And to answer above question clearly:
there are no limits at our tool or code, but possible limits at free 3rd party tools like Whois API, free MOZ, ahrefs.
