Sorry, this offer is closed for now. You can buy the Storeminator at the regular price here: http://www.storeminator.com - it's still worth it!

FAQ

Who are you and why should I trust you and your product?

Apart from being a long-time Warrior Forum member I have been actively developing and maintaining the Wordbay eBay plugin since 2007/2008, and my many satisfied customers will tell you that I have always given 110% to support my product. The Storeminator is a kind of successor to Wordbay, and I plan to support it with the same dedication. I don't make WSOs so I can take the money and run - I am in the business of selling quality products.

Can I has review copy?

If you have a relevant mailing list, blog, review site etc. and you think we could partner up for a JV in the future once this WSO is closed, then sure, PM me with your proposal. If you are just freeloading then the answer is no.

Is there a developer license available?

A developer license will not be available for now due to the limited release of this software. However for the VERY low price of the multi-site licence you will be able to install the Storeminator on as many of your own sites as you like.

Do you provide support for the Storeminator?

Yes - you can always open a ticket at support.storeminator.com. The Storeminator is still fairly new – I have tested it extensively for several YEARS now while it has been in development, it is fully-functional, I have it on sites of my own, and a number of early adopters are already using it. So I believe that all major issues have been dealt with by now. However, if there are any teething troubles I will be on top of them very very quickly – consider it a small price to pay for being part of a VERY exclusive club! ALL newly-released plugins have these issues – the difference is I am telling you up front, and I won’t disappear after a month without having resolved them, like some WSOs I have bought.

I can’t teach you how to make websites, but I will make sure you get the Storeminator plugin working. Full refunds are provided through Clickbank® if you are not satisfied in any way – but don’t buy the plugin if you are not prepared to take a little time to learn how it works!

What are the technical requirements to run the Storeminator?

To run Storeminator you need to have:
  • some basic knowledge of how to set up and run a WordPress site
  • a site on decent hosting running the latest version of WordPress, on PHP5 or 6 (PHP7 currently not supported)
  • an affiliate account with Amazon® (in whatever country you want to use – .com and .co.uk are currently supported, others should work too but I cannot guarantee it) – you will also need to sign up for the Amazon® API (explained in the docs).
  • an affiliate account with eBay Partner Network® – or an account with Skimlinks® that gives you access to EPN. You will also need an eBay® Developer ID (explained in the docs).
  • a Commission Junction® affiliate account if you want to use that plugin too. You will also have to sign up for a CJ® Developer Key (explained).

Is there an affiliate programme?

No, for this limited release there is no affiliate program, contact me if you have any JV proposals for the future.

Can you list exactly which places it lists from: amazon, cj, ebay, and something more?
Then, you are making it available when Amazon is trying to cut back on affiliate marketers ( like changing the percentage of earning for almost all categories) - what is your take on it?

Thanks,

Nora

Nora, that is actually new to me, I hadn't heard that. I guessed that might happen at some point though because they probably feel they don't need to rely on affiliates so heavily nowadays, now that they have such a huge market lead. However I still think Amazon is going to be one of the best programs around for a while yet.

About your first question, the way I wrote Storeminator, I can basically add plugins, according to demand. So at the moment Amazon, eBay and CJ are supported (remember CJ has multiple sellers so it makes it look like you have multiple additional stores represented). But I can fairly easily add plugins for others - preferably programs that have a good web service to fetch data from. Probably Linkshare is the next possible candidate. But I will have to see what the demand is.

I just viewed your website demo. Could I add the comparison plugin in the sidebar instead of in a post or page? Please pm me.

Hi, thanks for your question - I will PM you as well, but just for others who might be interested: no, at this stage you can't put the price comparison listing in the sidebar, that was a conscious decision, though it might be tricky for me to explain because it's to do with how Wordpress works.

Generally in Wordpress the sidebar and other widget positions should be used for "global" or "static" content on the site, (like navigation, banner ads, etc. etc., that are out of the so-called Wordpress Loop) and not for things that are related to the actual page content ('in the Loop'). If you could place a Storeminator listing in the sidebar it would either have to show the same product on all pages (not much point), or somehow pull the settings for the particular page in order to show the product that you are reviewing on that page or whatever, which is technically possible but I didn't think was a good design decision at this point - not for Wordpress-based sites.

If there were a lot of demand for that I would consider implementing it somehow.

People are ignoring sidebar ads more and more these days so I feel that price listings WITHIN content, like Storeminator does it, will probably get more clicks/conversions.
