Default LIVE LIKE A KING ON 1000$ A MONTH! - A Warrior's guide to living in Thailand

Why wait until retirement when you can live like a king on a US minimum wage income now!

I have been living in Thailand for over 2 years on an IM income and I'll show you exactly how YOU can do it too!

Why not handle your business on a beach?

Houses like these can be rented for 200$ or less on islands.

More of a city person? Why not move to Bangkok!

Condos in places like this can be had for as low as 200$ long term or 400$ on monthly contracts.

If you're a guy, girls like these will also be all over you.

I'll show you how to:

  • Secure a hassle free long term visa
  • Stay legally long term in case you can't get one
  • Find great housing deals for short and long term stays
  • Find cheap flights to Thailand from your country
  • Fly cheaply within the country and to neighbouring countries
  • Handle your finances locally
  • Stay online even on a beach
  • Prevent getting accounts locked due to your location change

Change your life for the better in the new year and ACT NOW!

ONLY 34 EUR!
(~44 USD)

A special warrior price that will pay for itself many times over!

Guys read, and understand what you read...this is a method to live in Thailand on $1000.00 , simple
as that. That means you have that amount coming in from somewhere else, online ventures, investments , etc .... once you have that amount , $1000.00 , then according to him, you can live like a king in Thailand, and his WSO is suppose to show you how to do that. As for me , I like the one on the far left ....LOL ;-)

Please read the whole WSO text.

It shows exactly what I'll teach you, namely how to get a visa, a nice and cheap condo, cheap flights etc.

This is only something for people that are already making money in IM or got other sources of income and are interested in moving to Thailand to improve their lifestyle.

Wow, I actually really want to move to Southeast Asia, preferably Thailand or the Philippines. Regardless, I can't spend $44 to learn how to at this time, however. Looks good nonetheless.

Probably the most interesting and unique WSO I have ever seen.

What's different between thailand and Philipines or Malasya? Its Thailand cheaper and better (or safer?)

I really want to move from my country

I am reading the op again and iI wonder: can you really rent a condo like that for 200 a month? Here in Colombia, where things are much cheaper than in the US you can not get that bargain.

How easy or difficult is to find a Hispanic school in Thailand?

Thanks, I try to provide something new.

The Phillipines are a lot more expensive housing wise in the good areas of Manila and generally more unsafe. I have no knowledge about living on the islands or second tier cities.

Malaysia is a muslim country and tends to be more boring because of that. I have no idea about the local visa situation but I expect it to be harder if you aren't retired or having a job there.

Thailand is a very safe country, the visa situation is pretty clear and one can still live very affordably there despite housing price surges on very developed islands like Phuket.

This is a real price. There are lots of expensive condos in Bangkok but also good deals to be had if one knows where to look.

Below 150$ a foreigner probably wouldn't find the area too appealing as you'd be the only foreigner there among locals.

From your picture I assume it'd be for your kids.

I have no idea about local schools but also assume there are none. Private schools tend to be Thai and English.

I am in Chiangmai, Thailand as a volunteer for a year right now and I can definitely confirm that it is very possible to live like a king here for 1000$ a month, even without having read the guide.
I think this might be very interesting to read, hope this will still be around in a few years when I'm willing to move here for a longer time.

Living in Thailand is really a nice thing and I'll definitely spend another year or two here, sometime in my life, no matter where life will take me

Just purchased this 10 page report I live in the US.( report is Euro Based) Like most WSO's you find this info on the internet for free if you are willing to spend the time and do the the research.(which I did not want to do) Cost $47.50 USD I thought was steep. Good basic info though.

In Chiang Mai there is also a German Christian school. I could imagine that somewhere in Thailand there might be a French school, because I have met quite a few people speaking French here, but I don't know further detail about this. But there are really some English schools. Not being able to speak perfect English shouldn't stop you from putting your children to that school, most Thai people don't speak English very well either from my experience. Of course there are also many who do, but they are the exception.

I live in Thailand for 10 years now. I own 2 condo's in Bangkok. One I rent for $1000 a month, the other for $500.

Yes, you can live for $1000 a month. I certainly wouldn't want to and it is not hard to spot the "farangs" who chose to live that particular way of life. The cost of living has risen substantially over the years and continues to do so. But as highly successful IM's why would you limit your inexhaustible funds?

Oh, forget about your iPhone. 4G exists, only just in 4 areas and internet access in general is probably the worst in all the region.

Is it a wonderful country? Yes, and as I look out from my office window at the soon to be harvested rice, I'm glad to be here - even if my wife wont let me go to visit those charming ladies in the picture.

/Steve

You can certainly live with USD1,000 per month... BUT, to live like a KING?? I doubt it... Before the Asian financial crisis, perhaps you could.... but now the cost of living in the city has risen significantly. Especially big cities like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, Singapore.

NOTE: For Singapore, you CERTAINLY CAN NOT live like a KING for USD1000. You will be lucky if you can live a normal life in singapore with USD1000 per month.

Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines are quite a BIG country.... you probably can live like a KING with USD1000 per month, if you choose to live in some Village.

For example, in Indonesia, you can get a lunch for ONLY Rp.5000 = US 55 Cents. YES! That is 55 Cents for a lunch. --> NOTE: USD1 = 9,000 Indonesian Rupiah.

But, you can only get that if you live in a small Village!!! NOT in the capital cities. The cost of living in the BIG cities is a lot higher, it all depends on how you live... but USD1000 per month certainly not enough if you want to live like a KING's lifestyle!!!

Thanks for the review.

While I was euro based and my "special visa source" is euro based and untested for non EU citizens everything else is applicable to anyone.

It personally took me a long time to find all the informations I needed when I moved to Thailand and I gladly would've paid the money for an ebook like this.

The cost is only so high because there'll naturally be a limited interest in a product like this, as I don't expect hundrets of warriors are about to make the move to relocate to Thailand.

I know plenty of people who happily live on money like that as they're locally employed and salaries don't tend to get much higher than 1200$ for people that aren't highly qualified or in management positions. I guess it all depends on what one is looking for.

I have been happy with DSL quality in Bangkok but I've never lived in Chiang Mai so I can't comment on that.

It all depends on what your expectations are. Obviously on 1000$ a month you won't be able to drive a car, live in the most expensive condos or become a regular at VIP hostess clubs.

On 1000$ you can have a nice modern condo, eat well every day, even party every day (bottle service is very cheap) if you feel like it while having a steady girl or two and enjoying the sunshine (it rarely rains most of the year and never really gets cold in most parts of Thailand). If thats not living like a king then I don't know what is.

In a village you wouldn't know what to do with that kind of money.

In Bangkok you can eat in many nice western restaurants for ~10$ or less and local meals can be had from ~2$.

On islands you'll hardly ever pay more than 2-5$ a meal unless you fancy some upscale restaurants on Phuket.

My lunch today cost me about $1 and was worth every cent. The new air conditioner that went in my office cost about $600. Most products you might choose to have to enhance your king lifestyle cost more than what you would pay in the US.

Then there are those charming girls. Every one of them is more than skilled at extracting funds - even from a king!

I have no experience with the girls, but I also my dinner in Chiang Mai every evening for 40 Baht=1. That includes a dish that is enough to satisfy my hunger and an amaaaazing fruitshake, made from fresh fruits for which I'd pay at least 2 in Europe, here it is less than 0.5.

I wish we'd have an AC too...

Thailand is definitely a good country . I'm from Malaysia and I've been to Phuket. Don't know if you can live in luxury in phuket with $1000 though. Other than Thai, I'm thinking of other countries to visit too .

Phi Phi is definitely one of the nicest islands I've been to.

Bali is nice too but it's really hard to stay there legally long term to my knowledge.

How's Mumbai compared to Bangkok?

I know a couple Malaysians living in Thailand for unknown reasons. Made me wonder since Malaysia is supposed to have nice beaches too and very cheap condo / house developments.

For many western people luxury is living in a nice house in a sunny place (not a villa) in short distance to a beach and being able to head there every day.

1000$ won't get you a villa and fancy french restaurants every day, but it definately can get you the above mentioned.

If you want to visit other countries maybe head to Hong Kong and Macau.

How's Mumbai compared to Bangkok?
I wouldn't live in Mumbai.. too expensive property wise...too crowded and very very chaotic .. all this chaos is organized of course.. .. too noisy... some of the outer suburbs are ok .. but I would miss all my crazy ting tongs and Thai hospitality... "you want long time or short time mister ? ... hey mister come back..."! Aahhh ... all the sexy ting tongs.. I miss them already.. LOL..

You can certainly live with $1000/month but it depends on the "where" and under "what conditions". Thailand is certainly cheaper than Europe or US, but if you want to have a Western-like living conditions (western-quality restaurants, western-quality housing, western-quality clothing, etc), you will not be doing it under $1000/month.

So yes you can live cheap in many South East Asian countries, but your standards of living will drop. That being said, enjoying a sunny 25 Celsius weather all year round is a GREAT thing!

Many of us (especially the Westeners) still think that they can live a Western-lifestyle in South East Asia countries with $1000/month...

Well... I also wish that we still could live like a KING with $1000/month but unfortunately, things had changed now and the cost of living has risen substantially.... $1000 is really NOT that much these days!

Wow, strange WSO. I have could have written this one, myself, having lived in Thailand for 3 years.

If you really did go to live there, I would suggest strongly that you learn about the culture. It's very unique and many norms are completely different from the Western world. You can really get yourself into trouble without knowing you are doing so. Learn about the politics and the incredibly unstable and fractured political environment in Thailand, now. 91 people died in political violence in the center of Bangkok earlier this year. It was all out urban warfare for a month or so, right smack dab in the middle of the capital. The largest mall in Thailand was burned to the ground by protesters.

While political violence is something you as a foreigner would unlikely get caught up in, it has happened. Ask the foreign tourists who had their legs ripped off by bombs a few years ago on New Year's.

I'm not saying Thailand isn't a great place, and it is a much cheaper place to live thus your money could go further (even though inflation has taken it's toll the last 10 years the exchange rate has gotten worse for Westerners), I'm just saying it's not all roses and sunflowers all day long.

And the misnomer that Thailand is a "very safe place" is a common misconception. It appears so at first glance and from the tourist point of view, but after living there for some time I know it not to be so, and statistics back this up. Especially in places with high tourism, you will find plenty of nefarious characters Thai and foreigner, and plenty of violence hidden under the surface. It's been rated many times by various sources as one of the more violent countries on earth.

But yes, I would say if you want to live overseas Thailand isn't a bad place, and you can live better on less, great place to run your internet business from as long as you educate yourself and know how to be safe and how to respect the culture.

I would say give yourself a test and don't uproot without knowing what it's like to live there.

Just go over there and give yourself 6 months minimum to see if you would really like to go there. No place on earth is heaven, and every place has it's drawbacks, and you need to know if the drawbacks are bad enough to make you not want to live there.

Really, don't get me wrong. For the average person you should not run in to too much trouble as long as you keep your head. But keep your head on your shoulders and do some real research rather than just listening to what people say, before you uproot your whole life and move to the other side of the planet without knowing what you're doing.

I'm sure this WSO can help with that, but you should also do your own research.

Live in Chiang Mai Thailand. When I first arrived 3 years ago we rented a brand new 3 bedroom 2 bath house for $280.00. Very nice area with huge pool, weight room and park.

We can eat good meals for 100 baht per day about $3.00 for two people or $1.50 per person. This is eatting Local Thai Food.. very good and spicy.

We get daily Oil Massage for 100 baht per hour $3.00. Have two older Thai Ladies that visit me each night at my home from 9 - 11 p.m.

After living in 35 Countries and 41 States in the USA.. Chiang Mai is my favorite place in the world.

I wrote a book with almost the EXACT same title a few years ago... Retire and Live like a KING in Chiang Mai, Thailand or something like that, lol...

Good luck with your WSO.
