Default Email Marketing For The Squeamish - The Money is in Knowing What to Say to Your List

You need a list. It doesn't matter if you do offline real estate, have a parenting blog, or are in some Internet Marketing niche.

An email list is how you turn one-time buyers
into loyal repeat customers for life!

Stop tuning out people who say “The Money is in the List.” They're right, and you're going to kick yourself for not doing it sooner when you finally realize they were right all along.

But guess what? This is not a WSO about how to build a list. There are a lot of good products out there that will teach you how to build a list.

This is about what to do next.

I'm here to help you with what comes after you've got subscribers. That's the hard part for a lot of list builders!

Both in the coaching that I do and when I interact my own list subscribers, I've learned that being squeamish about what to say to your list members is a very common problem.

You know what else? I've also learned that you're not getting a lot of help or sympathy from the IM community.

I've seen marketer after marketer saying, “Don't be afraid,” “Just email them,” or the worst: “You're in the wrong business.”

You're NOT in the wrong business
just because you're intimidated
by the thought of emailing
your list!

And you're definitely not alone in feeling that way. So ignore anyone that makes you feel bad!

Instead, let's fix it.

Most of the marketers who are saying those catchy little phrases have either forgotten what it's like to write their first emails or they have no idea that emailing a list doesn't come naturally to everyone. And a lot of them have convinced themselves that their ego wasn't a little bruised by those first unsubscribes... Selective memories!

Let's get beyond that nonsense, OK?

Introducing...

Here's what I'm going to show you:

  • How to write emails that connect with your subscribers and get the results you want
  • How to make unsubscribes hurt less (and how to get a lot fewer of them)
  • How to make more sales from your list (and not feel like a "dirty marketer")
  • How to set yourself apart from other list owners so your members will look forward to your emails and stay subscribed

You get 46 pages of useful information + a full audio version (MP3)!

Best of all, this is a Q&A guide. I've taken 20 of the most common questions list owners ask about how to write more effective emails and answered each.

I guarantee that no matter what level you're at, you will pick up a ton of useful tips and ideas!

This is NOT just for those in the Internet Marketing niche. I give real world examples for emailing your list in any niche.

Over the years, I've had several lists in different niches. I'm no “Macho Marketer,” so I have no problem telling you that when I first started, every single unsubscribe was like a kick to the groin for me.

I took it personally. It was hard to get over. So I get it if you're scared of the prospect of seeing people leave your list.

You're gonna mess up. Everyone does!

I've made TONS of mistakes with my lists...

  • I've said stupid things
  • I've made people angry
  • I've recommended a product that blew up in my face
  • I've let lists die (but I've also REVIVED a few lists!)

Learn from my mistakes (and the mistakes I've seen other list owners make) without going through all the costly trial-and-error yourself!

Who needs this WSO?

Anyone who has ANY of the following 20 questions or concerns:

  1. What do I say to these people?

  2. I don't know these people. I'll bet a lot of them know more than I do, so I feel intimidated.

  3. I feel weird emailing affiliate offers (or even mailing for my own stuff). I feel like I'm "pushing products" on them, and I feel like they'll be able to see that and resent me for trying to make a buck off of them.

  4. When people unsubscribe, I get personally offended!

  5. How often do I email my list?

  6. I built a list a while ago, but I didn't have anything to say. Can I start emailing them now?

  7. What if someone forgets they signed up to my list and I get spam complaints?

  8. I'm on a lot of different lists, and I don't just want to copy what they do. What can I do to set myself apart from the 20 other lists my subscribers are on?

  9. I don't have that many people on my list. Should I wait until I get a larger number of people before I email?

  10. Should I make different lists? I've heard of segmenting lists. How do I do that? How do I keep it all straight? Do I email different lists differently?

  11. How do I find tips and information to give to my list?

  12. How do I find offers to send to my lists to make money? What if others are sending emails about the same offers? Do I have to make my own products?

  13. I sent a great offer to my list, but no one bought it. How do I know if it's the list, the product, or my email?

  14. My list never asks me any questions or responds to me... I want to build a better relationship with them. How can I get them to interact a little more?

  15. How much time should I devote to building/adding to my list vs. building relationships with my list?

  16. How personal do I get with my list? Do I have to introduce myself and tell them all about me? I like privacy, but I don't want to be standoffish.

  17. I've seen some people email more than once for the same offer. How many times should I email for each offer?

  18. I want to give free stuff to my list, but if I'm always giving away free stuff, how will I make any money? Couldn't I charge for that stuff?

  19. Can you explain welcome emails and follow-up emails?

  20. My list was responsive at first, but now they aren't buying anything or even opening my emails very much. Is my list dead? What can I do to boost sales from my list?

Any of those sound familiar? If so, you need
this! I'll show you how to write emails that
effectively answer those questions and
eliminate those concerns.

Sound good? Grab yours now and I'll take all the risk out of your purchase...

If you put what I will show you to work, you'll make more than the cost of this product in the very first email promotion you send to your list!

Look, building a list is the first step, obviously. But it's not doing you any good just to have a bunch of email addresses if you aren't making a real connection with the individual people that comprise your list.

Email Marketing For The Squeamish is all about making that connection and winning the trust and loyalty of the people on your list.

Having a list is not enough! You MUST gain their trust and convince them that you want them to succeed. Once you accomplish that, your own success is guaranteed. Simple as that.

Grab your copy of
Email Marketing For The Squeamish
(including the audio version)

right now!

Default Re: List Mailing For The Squeamish - Write Emails That Suck In The Cash!

FAQ

Q: Is There An OTO?
A: Yes, but it's really more of a Special Offer. It is NOT required, but it is very helpful if you have trouble knowing what to say in your emails. It's an online email generator with instructions and examples for several common types of emails you'd write to your list. It will NEVER AGAIN be available at this special offer price ($17). That's a one-time fee for lifetime membership!

Q: What if I don't have a list yet?
A: You still need this! If you have any plans to build a list (and you should!), you'll need Email Marketing For The Squeamish to know how to effectively talk to your list members to win their trust and earn more money.

John very kindly gave me a review copy of Email Marketing For The Squeamish, and as with all of John's teaching, it is absolutely excellent.

Great writing style, very easily read and really motivating content. There are so many great tips for newbie email marketers, and even for the more experienced list builders, there are some excellent ideas here.

Once again, John has really tapped into a problem faced by many people working online, and used his own years of experience to create a workable solution. If you want to get into email marketing but are just not sure how to go about it, then this is for you. If you already have a list and want to make the most out of it, then this is for you.

IMO, this is a real gem - grab it now.

Happy New Year Everyone!*

I was given a review copy and felt obligated to tell you a story!

In the years that I have been learning thru all walks of life including being a business owner since 1984 to being in the top 1% running a successful mlm biz opp, to being one of the top sales people in yellow page advertising and being in the top 3 in a medium sized (23 locations) retail franchise chains.

I have NEVER EVER seen so much contradictory crap as the online business market when it comes to internet marketers and so called "self branded experts" that call themselves entrepreneurs for hoodwinking the student that wants to learn the right way to run a business online.

Having said that, the shiny object still prevails promising the path to vast riches beyond your dreams!

John's product "Email Marketing For The Squeamish" is no shiny fancy object either that's for sure, but a true process for "TALKING" to your customers in a simple email text.

Over the years that I have dealt with John, he seems to keep me captivated with his sense of care and consideration and NEVER sends an email without talking to me in a style that leaves a lasting impression. For some reason I just cannot unsubscribe from his list because I see him as a true businessman that knows how to build rapport (which is the first STEP to any relationship, especially when it comes to sales which is what we're all about anyways)*

John is an affiliate marketer that probably doesn't realize just how good he really is when it comes to conversation!

I think the one negative I would give is that I would like to see the title of this new wso be a little bit more ambitious because it would give more credence to his abilities and what you can learn from John.

If any of you that are seriously looking to get to the next level, you have to listen to John!
Building relationships is key!

John's a class act when it comes to rapport!

Hi Johnny

I just bought this and thought to leave this before I go read it.

We've been told the money is in the list for a long time and this I believe has helped a lot of people to build list BUT then get stumped when they discover the list is made of PEOPLE. Ouch! How do you connect? Afterall if you don't then all you have is a list of people.

I believe Johnny's entry here will help solve that problem - the problem of not knowing what to say to help you relate to your list to get the money that is in it.

I've personally worked on the basis that since the list is made of people, you need to connect with these people, find out what they want, create or source it and of course sell it. Beats bombarding them with affiliate promos all the time.

I like to add that I barely read the copy....that's because I've bought lots of Johnny's stuff including coaching in the past. If you are new to Johnny's stuff then i'll say, read the copy, buy the training and USE IT!

Just my few dollars worth of opinion.

Thanks Johnny for addressing the Relationship Marketing side of things...and making it affordable too.

All the best for 2013.

I'm off to study my copy.

Thanks, Cheryl! It's been a pleasure working with you. I look forward to continuing this year. The ideas in this product are central to how successful you will be once you get your list growing and start talking to them. I'm glad you see the potential. Talk to you soon!

Hi John,

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback! I'm so glad you got what you did out of Email Marketing For The Squeamish, because that's exactly why I wrote it.

The questions and concerns I address in the product are the ones I get asked all the time by people I coach and by people on my own lists. I wanted to help both newbies and even more experienced list marketers, because I know with 100% certainty that having a list is NOT enough!

You have to know how to TALK to your subscribers if you want long-term success.

Thanks,
John

I can personally vouch for John's email marketing ability. He knows exactly what he's doing.

He's pretty awesome. My first WSO (well first with an affiliate system) I still remember him as being my first affiliate as he promoted it for me and he did amazingly awesome. In fact, his buyers were probably the most responsive and quality buyers I ever got on my list from an affiliate. I'm sure he's mastered his craft even more by now.

He gets high conversions and his list trusts him. Don't you want to know how to do that?

I'm eternally grateful to John and you can't go wrong learning email marketing with him!

Even though I've had it for a few days (or more), I finally got around to reading this the other day.

I will chime in with others and say it was a great read and covers some things, actually several things, that most email marketing/listbuilding products don't cover.

Hi John

I have a question about the OTO ...is this web based?

The reason I ask is I have a Mac, so hopefully it is.

Thanks

Hi Forrest,

Yes, it's web-based, so your operating system does not matter.

Thanks!

This is all so frustrating. When you have no email list you have to start somewhere. It's part of growing a business,. I not only need advice on how to do a proper email, but I need to get a good list of emails. It's a starting point. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I would love to hear who offer's good lists and templates/software. Thanks!
