Thanks for a great course Bharatnt.

This is something that anyone who uses Wordpress for a website should have, learn and put into practice.

Bharat has made a great product and shows how to get your Wordpress site as secure as possible. He shows you where to find some free tools and explains how to use them. He gives you the code you need and where to insert it so it helps protect your site from different forms of attack.

I already had a similar product and had been doing most of the things he teaches but there are some things in his product I didn't know about. I'm very glad he came out with this great product. It never hurts to learn new ways to protect an investment in a website.

I'll give this one a 9 out of 10 rating.

Thanks Bharat,

I am an author for wpmu.org and a few other online WordPress related websites, so everyone is vying for my positive endorsement of their products. But, the truth of the matter is only a small percentage of tools I review actually get written about and get positive recommendations.

O.K. with that out of the way, here's my evaluation.

The information contained in WP Securer is of outstanding value. It is well organized and Bharat's explanations are clear and complete. From the first video, he describes the mindset that should be established with regards to WordPress security. It's not a "once and done" event, but an ongoing process as crackers are always working to open the door to your WordPress website.

Then he discusses various types of hosting and things you will want to consider based upon your hosting environment. The steps you will take to secure your WordPress website will vary depending upon your webhost. Additionally, there are things that your host can (but will they) do to assist you with locking up your WordPress website.

Then Bharat goes into an exhaustive explanation of how to perform a secure installation of your WordPress so that you understand how to do it from the beginning. If you've already installed WordPress, the next sections will explain the things that you need to check and modify so that your existing installations are as secure as if you have installed them securely. One tip that he gives on how to install WordPress is worth the entire price of this WSO. I never install WordPress using any of the scripts (Fantastico, Scriptaculous, or any others) as scripts leave signatures, so I always unzip the WordPress file and upload them individually via FTP. Bharat's method is soooo much faster and doesn't utilize one of the scripts. This alone will save me 30 minutes PLUS on every WordPress website I set up.

Next, Bharat goes through an exhaustive explanation and setup of various important files permissions as well as several .htaccess files that you will need to load and where to load them. When you complete this section, you will have secured your WordPress website better than most people ever dream about.

The next sessions cover users (roles, permissions, etc.) as well as a method to monitor their activities. If you build websites for other people like I do, then being able to track their activities back can sometimes be extremely valuable in determining just what it was that they did to get the website in the mess they've created. Additionally, this information can be useful for fine tuning the access that you give to various users as well as determining when abuses may be occurring.

I am a little over half-way through the videos as I am watching them, making notes, trying everything that Bharat notes (on a new WordPress installation) and monitoring the results. So far, everything that he has noted has behaved EXACTLY as he noted. There have been no surprises and the suggestions have been "spot on". I don't expect my opinion to change as I complete the second half of the course.

Can you learn all this without the course?

Absolutely!! But, why would you want to? Bharat has apparently put a ton of time into researching all of this information and then putting it together in an organized manner. Sure you could come up with this same information, but what is the value of your time. We are all striving for "The Four Hour Work Week" aren't we? Then, why would you want to spend those four hours researching all of this (and doing it over several four hour weeks - probably about 20 of them) when you could spend ONE four hour time period reviewing these videos and then putting the information into action? My time is very valuable. Plus, I bill myself as a "Lazy Marketer" so I don't want to waste any time doing anything that I can get from someone else.

Buying this training is SMART MONEY - any way you look at it. Get this today, study the videos, and put the information into practice. Imagine what ONE compromised WordPress site could cost you - especially if it's one of your money sites or worse a client's website. Then, weigh that against the cost of this course. Plus, with this knowledge, you can add this as a service that you offer to your clients like I provide to mine. Except I paid much, much more for my training a few years back.

Thanks again for an excellent product and the opportunity to review it. If I finish this before the WSO closes, I'll come back with "Part Deux" of my evaluation as well as a link to the article that I write and publish.

Bharats knowledge, advice and tips are all excellent and anyone will be able to follow his step by step instuctions which are thorough as well as very informative.
I was slightly daunted at first by the sheer quantity of videos, but they are easy to follow and packed full of valuable content.
I have not only learnt about WP Security, but also learnt stuff I didn't know about CPanel and Secure FTP! (And I have only completed Module 1)

Top that off with some excellent bonuses and you really have everything you need to secure, backup and restore your WP sites.

I just wish that I had this information two week
s ago as I had one of my sites hacked. The first I knew about it was when I could not access my site as the hackers had changed my password and locked me out, which was a really sickening feeling!

I not only lost all of my work, but I am still having issues today, as Google has blocked my site and flagged it as a dangerous site!

I am only now getting over this security breach, but I have lost all my data and will have to rebuild my site from scratch!

I had read about WP security problems but stupidly thought that it wouldn’t happen to me. So my advice to everyone out there is don’t make the same mistake as me and get your site secured today!

I wish I had had a resource like WP Securer to follow, as I have spent endless hours reading conflicting advice on the internet about what you should and shouldn’t do regarding security and also trying to find which plug ins to install to protect my sites. There is a lot of advice out there on forums regarding WP security but as I discovered, a lot of it is confusing and from people who don’t really know what they are talking about.

My recommendation is, if you have WP sites buy this!

I received Bharat's WP Secure course and it opened my eyes to the things I was doing wrong or wasn't doing properly to secure my wordpress sites.

Worst thing in the world is if you built a WP site for the client and they got hacked into. Not a good feeling at all.

What Bharat has done is to break his course down to easy to understand morsels that you can easily implement along with scripts and step by step video tutorial that holds your hand through the whole process.

Along with a checklist, Bharat provides the right tools you need and it's easy to follow. If you follow his instructions you will be able secure your WP sites with no problems. I did and now I sleep better at nights.

So if your on the fence contemplating on getting his course (and at the price he is offering) then you don't need to be in business.

I got a review copy of your second WSO in Security, and I have gone through almost all the videos except for few since my internet line (connection) was little slow. Boy, I must say, I was amazed to see the information that it provides.

It is very detailed, thorough and to the point. It exactly tells you what to do. All this time I was under the impression that once you install the WP and then do your website, your site is safe but to see that it is not the case anymore. Bharat, your WSO is really helpful for people like us. Nobody teaches these things, I must tell you.

Your Technical Knowledge, skills, tips, advise plus free resources you provide are top class. Once again you have proved that you know what you are talking about which is not the case with most of the WSO owners in the Forum.

I am happy that you have been always able to "WALK YOUR TALK". I am sure people will be benefited immensely with this WSO since most of the things you discuss here are totally new.

On top of this, when I asked him about the cost of this WSO, and if I am not mistaken it is around 17$. For me, the knowledge you acquire, hassle you avoid and cost savings will be benefited more than 100 times.

I am not an Affiliate Marketer and I do not know Bharat. So I have no hidden agenda by promoting this.

All I can say to you is, do not let this course go by. Buy this, study this and put this in to practice and nothing should go wrong. I will never recommend something if it is not good. I have been taken for rides in this same Worrior Forum many a times. Most of the reviews here are like "You scratch my back and I will scratch yours" type. (There are few good people whom you can trust here!! Sad situation but that is the reality and the truth!!)

So far with support tickets, you have not let me down. With this WSO, you will get more clients hence, there will be an increase in that area. Plan that area as well so that people will get a prompt reply from you.

All the best.

BUY THIS WSO. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET!!!

Nicely laid out into modules, it makes this a simple process to watch as much or as little as you want at a time, or like me, go through the whole thing and make notes, of which I did plenty as certainly learnt a few more things to do to secure my clients sites.

For newbies, take each module at a time and go back through anything you're unsure of. Bharat explains in great detail and certainly makes sure that you come away with plenty of knowledge.

So, marks out of 10, I would give an 8.5.

@CTRTheme, I have not read used that product so I am not eligible to comment on how good or bad that product is or if this product is better that that one.

This is a video course that will show you how to lock down different parts of WordPress.

I have mentioned each and every video and what you will learn from that video and why is it important to do according to modules.

Yes, In these videos I will talk about different security plugins and give you my recommendations but the heart of this training course is .htaccess.

I will show you how a lot of security steps can be taken with that one file & without any plugin.

I hope this helps.

@alcbiz, this is a video training course and majority of the security steps will be taken with the help of .htaccess file and that where I think this is better than a plugin because
1. htaccess file won't get outdated.
2. htaccess file is better than using a plugin because that's the first file processed by your web server.

I will also use some plugins from WordPress repository to enhance the security and the plugins that I will use are from well reputed developers who almost always keep their plugins updated.

Hope this helps

I received a review copy of this and here is my findings on Bharat's latest WSO.

Keeping up with your WordPress website can be a daunting task. Even more so if you don't know all the ins and outs of maintaining it so others don't crash it for you or worse take it over. Bharat has put together the A-Z of setting up your WordPress site from installation to the latest measures to secure it.

I'm as guilty as most of using the Fatastico 2 click install of my WordPress websites. Of course, since I really have no problem with digging around in the MySql database I go in and change admin to something else. I can imagine those that aren't technical just leave it that way.

The straightforward system that Bharat outlines in his 3rd video in Module one will make you a WordPress installation champ in no time at all. That one video alone is worth the whole investment in his complete WordPress Security System. Of course the rest of the videos just allows you to batten down the hatches and lock out all those Virtual Pirates.

Whether complete newbie or seasoned WordPress Pro you will learn something new or be reminded of something you shouldn't have missed. I give it 2 thumbs up and a 5 star rating for content.

I just tried to pay with Paypal and got this message.

You must add funds to your PayPal account before sending more money.

Just bought something about 30 min. ago with no problem. Any ideas what the problem is?

PS - Just rechecked your email and it said you were having Paypal problems earlier.

Yes, there was an issue with Paypal because first I decided to make it a $0 trail for 30 days but Paypal wasn't sending notification to because of that so on the last day I had to change it to $1..

But I have just received an order 1 minute ago so there shouldn't be any issues. Can you try once again?

Update: Just got two more sales so I think my Paypal is working now. Just try once again and you should be able to buy it. If you still have a problem just pm me.

I look forward to going through the course. I'm sure they'll be some great information in there that I don't know about, as I'm always trying to keep up to date with Wordpress security especially after losing a client's site just over 2 yrs ago.

Since then, I've learnt so much and 'touch-wood' never had an issue since but I'm keen to keep learning from others.

It could be YOU next, so for a $1 upfront investment to go through the course, makes it a no-brainer!

I was fortunate enough to receive a review copy from Bharat today

Bharat - happy to see this product open up. I want to purchase but first waiting to see if the PayPal issues are all resolved. Any updates on this? I spent a couple of hours going through the warrior forum yesterday researching WordPress Security and was shocked on just how many people had their sites hacked. So your product should be a welcome addition to those using wordpress.

I do web design and a little wordpress development. Most of the time I get a false sense that I have properly secured my wp sites when in actuality they were never secured at all.

Unfortunately a few times I found out about my mistakes and at times it was too late.

Mekus, there is no issue with paypal now. I just received an order like 30 seconds ago.

So just click on that button and you should be able to buy it with no issues.

I just tried again and still get the same bullshit message about having to add funds to my PayPal account.
If you cannot resolve this issue, I will have to pass on your offer.

I have submitted a ticket to warriorplus and I will call paypal up as soon as they open (it's mid night in India) at 9:00.

Also, I received another order after replying to your post earlier. So if you can try to pay with you credit card on paypal's page instead of your paypal account it should let you go buy it.

The checkout page plainly states that a PayPal account is required to complete the purchase; therefore I do not have the option you suggest.
I will try again tomorrow.

Thank you so much DJL. I just received a reply from w+ and seems like I will have to contact paypal to get this sorted out.

The issue is because I am using split pay and if I change it to $17 upfront fee then it will resolve it but I don't want to do that so I will get in touch with Paypal in the morning and try to get this sorted out asap.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Bharat,

In your video you say this course is only for those with Apache based hosting. Can others using non-Apache hosting benefit from this course as well.

Thanks

People who are on apache will get the most out of this training course because a lot of security techniques I will show in this course will be using htaccess file which is available only in apache.

There will be some plugins that anyone can use regardless of the hosting envt. and the techniques that I will use to secure the site using htaccess file are also possible in other servers such as NginX but if you are not a technical person it wouldn't be easy to figure out because there is no good documentation and tutorials available on the web for other servers.

So I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is not on Apache if he is not a technical guy.

I am happy customer of YOUR first ever WSO and it taught me lot of things about WP Multiuser environment and many more other things which I never knew. It really gave me a good start in my new venture as IMer.

Hi Bharat,

So as long as the htaccess file is visible then this course will be beneficial?

Yep, if you see the htaccess file then you shouldn't have any issues what so ever to follow along and get the most out of this training.

Spend today going through this very thorough and intuative course. I'd like to classify myself as someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to WP security, doing manual install instead of the lazy non-secure fantasico route, creating strong database names, passwords, changing table prefix's, making sure admin ISNT the WP username and so on etc, so if you aren't up to speed on WP Security then may I suggest that you make the small investment and purchase Bharat's WP Securer course.

Hey Warriors,

Bharatnt sent me a review copy, and i have to say this is one hell of a training package. He shows you how to lock up your WordPress Sites / Clients Sites quickly and effectively.

He also shares some awesome resources that are worth the price of this thing alone. When it comes to securing WordPress this course covers all the bases and then some and easily worth a lot more than its currently selling.
