Update - March 31st: Prosociate 2.0 Beta Is Now Available

Prosociate is the new way to build Amazon affiliate stores with WordPress.

Get paid. Prosociate integrates with Amazon's affiliate program, so you earn a commission whenever you refer a sale to Amazon.

Easy to use. Prosociate is extremely easy to use, even if you are new to affiliate marketing. Prosociate is a WordPress plugin, which means all aspects of your site can be controlled from the easy-to-use WordPress admin panel.

WooCommerce. Prosociate leverages the power of WooCommerce to be the easiest, simplest, and most powerful solution for building Amazon affiliate stores with WordPress.

Fast and efficient. In less than an hour you can have a ready-to-promote affiliate store, populated with thousands of products.

The difference between Prosociate and every other solution out there is that with Prosociate, you get a site that just works, and works really well, right out of the box.

You don't need to make a bunch of tweaks. Prosociate is already streamlined and polished. There's not a bunch of extra junk on your site like post dates, "Posted by admin" lines, etc.

WordPress + WooCommerce + Prosociate + Any Theme = the new way to build the best Amazon affiliate stores.

Example Site Created With Prosociate

The above demo site is a default WordPress install, using the Bazar Shop theme from YIThemes. No customizations were made. The site was built with Prosociate right from the WordPress admin panel, in minutes.

Visitors Add Products To Their Cart On Your Site

Your visitors can add products to their cart on your website. This way you can get commission for multiple products. When they’re ready to check out, they get taken to Amazon. They get the ecommerce experience they’re used to on a real store and not on an affiliate site.

User-Selectable Product Variations, On Your Site

This is the coolest feature of Prosociate.

Layered Nav gives your visitors a professional shopping experience just like major e-tailers.

Prosociate builds the best Amazon affiliate stores.

Simple & Powerful Admin Panel. Watch the screencasts to see it in action.

Use any WordPress Theme. Because WooCommerce works with any theme, Prosociate works with any theme. No customizations are required. You never have to touch a line of code, even to customize your site. How awesome is that?

90-Day Cookie. Usually there is a 24 hour window to receive credit for a sale after following a standard Amazon affiliate link. But since Prosociate adds the product(s) to the cart, Amazon extends the window to 90 days – ensuring your earning potential is maximized.

WooCommerce. WooCommerce is the industry-standard eCommerce plugin for WordPress. It’s free and you can install it in one click from within Prosociate. WooCommerce is packed with great features that a standalone Amazon plugin would never have a hope of matching.

SEO Plugin Integration. WordPress and WooCommerce already have great SEO features. Prosociate is compatible with any SEO plugin for WordPress, including WordPress SEO by Yoast, and All In One SEO Pack.

Keep Your Data Fresh. Prosociate uses WP Cron to automatically keep your product data fresh with the latest data from Amazon. WP Cron is great because you don’t have to manually configure it, and your host doesn’t need cron jobs. Prosociate does it automatically.

Google Structured Data. Your product data is automatically “marked up” as Structured Data, which Google can read. For example, you may remember seeing star ratings, author names, and product prices in Google’s search results. That’s Structured Data.

Prosociate is perfect for anyone, from veteran marketers, to those looking to enter into the exciting world of affiliate marketing for the first time. Amazon handles all the complex stuff like order processing, delivery, products, etc. All you do is create and promote great-looking affiliate store with Prosociate.

About Prosociate

Hi!

I'm Louis, the President of Soflyy.

You may know me as the original creator of WP Zon Builder, back in 2010. Over 3 years later it is still a widely used Amazon plugin.

I decided it was time to create Prosociate because a lot has changed in WordPress since I created WP Zon Builder. Most importantly, Custom Post Types were added to the core and WooThemes released WooCommerce, drastically improving the type of website it is possible to build with an Amazon plugin.

My goal with Prosociate was to create an Amazon plugin that is light years ahead of anything else available. I want it to be extremely powerful so that veteran marketers use it, and so easy to use that someone with no experience with WordPress or affiliate marketing will recognize it as the best way to get started.

I've already reached that goal, but I want to always be on the cutting edge. I want Prosociate to be the best that it can possibly be. Doing that means I can never stop improving it.

My most important source of feedback is your suggestions. So if you have any, please let me know.

-Louis Reingold
President, Soflyy

This looks like exactly what i was looking for. Just a couple of questions :-

1. I want to sell books [only option for amazon india now] from my store. And as told, I am from India, want to sell to indians. Can I sell from amazon.in ?

2. India does not allow paypal in local currency, can I still use local currency ? I checked at woocommerce , it has an option for Indian Rupee, but does not have a proper symbol for that, does your plugin updated for this ?

3. I intend to sell stratight away through amazon.in , i mean just to sell affiliate products, so i hope i wont need to worry about the payment gateways, correct me if i am wrong.

4. I had bought woocommerce training videos for this purpose only, but they were not at all good, so got refund. Point is :- Since I was interested to have a shop, I chose woocommerce. So if i buy your plugin, it should take care of all training i may need for woocommerce or whatever.

5. You said unlimited installs on personal sites. If I use amazon.in on my main website , and tomorrow I want to install amazon US on other , UK, on 3 rd one, is it possible ?

6. It will only incorporate amazon, no other ecommerce site ? [ e.g. Flipkart in India ]

7. Will I require any additional extensions to buy from wocommerce ?

Thanks for reply in advance

1. We haven't added support for Amazon India yet. Right now it supports United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, France, Canada, Spain, Italy, and China. We'll get support for Amazon.in in Prosociate before the beta is over.

2. Yes, you can use your own currency, and you can change the currency symbols by editing WooCommerce template files. If you need help doing this, we are happy to do it for you.

3. Correct. Even though Prosociate lets you have the cart on your site, the user is still sent to Amazon to checkout. So Amazon handles all the complex stuff like delivery, order processing, etc. and all you do is maintain your affiliate site.

4. Prosociate really is easy to use. You won't need any training videos. You never have to touch WooCommerce unless you want to make edits to the products you posted, and even if you did, Prosociate just posts affiliate products, so it bypasses all the complex parts of WooCommerce.

In summary, if you are comfortable editing a basic WordPress post, you'll have no trouble at all with Prosociate, and even if you aren't, you'll be able to figure it out in just minutes.

5. Yes, you can use it on as many of your own websites as you wish. You can have a different Associate Program Country for each website.

6. Yes, only Amazon.

7. No, you will not have to buy any WooCommerce extensions to use Prosociate.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need me to clarify any of these answers or you have more questions.

1. Does this have a way of importing ratings and reviews from Amazon?
Oops, I see that it does under "reviews" tab, even though all the review tabs say "0", the Amazon reviews are there. Is this a bug?

2. I imagine that if I send my visitors directly to Amazon vs an onsite cart my conversions will be higher (no ecommerce site has more trust than Amazon), but I am not sure that makes up for the difference between a 1 day vs 90-day cookie. Do you have any statistics about this?

3. The compare feature is pretty cool

1. Thanks for pointing this out! Amazon might provide a way for us to get the count of the reviews through the API. If so, here's what we might be able to do:
* see if WordPress/WooCommerce provides us with a filter to change the review count
* if so change the number to the number of reviews returned by Amazon added to the number of reviews posted to the product as normal WordPress comments

2. Fortunately, I do.

Use the on-site cart.

I used to be the owner of WP Zon Builder, which was the industry standard Amazon plugin in 2010/2011, and had an on-site cart feature similar to what is found in Prosociate.

I had a few customers that shared details about their sites' performance, and most reported making more money when using the on-site cart.

If you don't want to use the on-site cart, you can change the product type to "external/affiliate" in WooCommerce (for each product) and then instead of having Add To Cart buttons, you'll have Buy Now buttons that link direct to Amazon.

If you have enough traffic, test and do what works best for you. And please share the results.

3. Thanks. That's the great thing about building on WooCommerce. It has all sorts of great features like this built-in.

Thanks for the helpful reply.

Being able to test "cart" vs "buy now" clinches the deal for me. I had always thought it was best to get the prospect over to Amazon as quickly as possible and let them do what they do best: sell, cross-sell, upsell, etc.

In thinking about it now, I'm guessing low price, well known items would do better with an on-site cart, whereas expensive things might do better with Amazon closing the deal. I can't imagine anyone "adding to cart" a $5000 piece of jewelry on an unknown site... but then maybe if they knew it was an "authorized Amazon Associate...

Speaking of which, the demo does not seem to comply with Amazon TOS which requires all price data to have a disclaimer that includes when it was most recently updated. Or are you exempt by using your own cart?

Thanks,
Gene

Thanks for pointing that out. We'll consider adding an option to display when the data was last updated.

Fortunately, you're exempt from this requirement if you update the data frequently, and Prosociate does that automatically using WP Cron, with no action required on your part.

The demo does keep the prices updated automatically, so we are in compliance.

You can search by ASIN if you specify the Browsenode/SearchIndex.

Yes, you can manually add non-Amazon products from the Products tab of WooCommerce.

Prosociate doesn't require ionCube or any other obscure technologies. We tested on numerous modern web hosts and Prosociate ran without fail on all of them.

If you find an incompatibility with Prosociate and your web host, let us know and we'll resolve it as quickly as we can.

Very slick plugin. I love the features and design of the demo site.
Questions..
1. I tried the demo site and put 2 products in shopping cart, the price of one product did not match with Amazon site when check out.

2. I checked yithemes site and could not find Bazar Shop theme you use on demo site. How do I get it?

3. When $39 offer is over?

The other thing I'd like to know is if I can customize the post excerpt using non woocommerce theme. I want to use it on my current site with a pinterest styled theme. I've tried Associate Goliath demo but it doesn't show any featured images, prices, descriptions or "Buy Now button" because it doesn't have any option to customize the excerpt. Does your plugin have some kind of Post excerpt mapping function?

WooCommerce, like WordPress, is free.

When you install Prosociate, if WooCommerce isn't installed, Prosociate will allow you to auto-install it in one click.

1. That is definitely a bug. Thanks for the report! Which product did it happen for?

2. Bazar Shop on ThemeForest

3. I expect to release version 1.0 sometime around late August/early September.

No, Prosociate doesn't import data to the post excerpt.

There's a "comparison" option on the demo site when clicking it on each product page we can compare products side by side. Is this specific comparison feature part of the plugin or is it only available on the theme in the demo? There is also a filter by price. Is this in the plugin or in the third party theme used in the demo site?

So your software is mainly a plugin and not a theme?

The comparison feature is not part of Prosociate. It is part of the theme. Many WooCommerce themes offer a comparison feature.

Filer By Price is not part of Prosociate. It is a sidebar widget that is included WooCommerce, so it will be available for use on any site built with Prosociate, regardless of the theme.

Prosociate is 100% a plugin. It works with any theme.

Yes, you can run it alongside WP All Import.

Hi Louis,

How do I setup WP Cron to automatically keep your product data fresh with the latest data from Amazon? Or does it do it automatically?

The beautiful thing about WP Cron is that you don't need to do anything.

Prosociate does it automatically.

Hi Guys,

Fantastic plugin fellas, everything that I've been tirelessly looking for to help me build an Amazon based eCommerce store seems to be covered in your plugin. The easiest purchase ever!

I've used your WP Zon Builder in the past, however this is on another level, with the cart functions being spot-on.

Is there a facility within the plugin to incorporate Geo localization. For example I would prefer to send customers in the UK to Amazon.co.uk, or US customers to Amazon.com.

If there isn't, can you suggest a way of achieving this? (Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer & Amz Link Localizer by Gaz Coopers achieve this only with con-textual links)

Many thanks

Hello,

This looks good.

How would you say it improves on Associate-o-matic and Associate Goliath?

The challenge with geolocation is that the inventory on Amazon.co.uk is different than the inventory on Amazon.com. That means you can't show visitors from the UK the same website as you show to visitors from Amazon.com.

Redirecting all visitors from the UK to a special UK version of your website won't help much either - for example, what if your visitor came from a longtail keyword looking for a specific product that is only available on your US site, and not on your UK site?

I'm thinking hard about a simple way to provide geolocation because it is something I really want in Prosociate, but right now, I haven't yet figured it out.

You can use our product WP Wizard Cloak (WP Wizard Cloak – The best WordPress plugin to cloak, track, and protect your links!) to send visitors to different URLs based on their location, but I don't think that will be of much help.

Prosociate allows you to build a site very similar to what you could do with Associate-o-matic.

Prosociate differs from Associate-o-matic in that it is built on WordPress, which means you aren't stuck building cookie-cutter sites. It is a lot more flexible. You can use any theme. You can install other plugins. It is very easy to add your own content in WordPress.

I'm not going to list all the ways that Prosociate is better than Associate Goliath because Prosociate is so far ahead that they aren't worth comparing.

The Prosociate demo site and feature list speak for themselves. Take a minute to look at the Prosociate demo site side-by-side with the Associate Goliath demo.

Hope this helps.

OK Louis, you've convinced me. I've bought a copy.

It's unfortunate that I've just built several sites with Associate-o-matic and Associate Goliath, but I have some other domains I can use to to test Prosociate.

Let's see how long it takes me to earn back the purchase price!

Hi Louis,

1. One thing I've discovered right away is a conflict with the WP plugin 'Root Relative URLs'

I installed on a new site using the latest WP release and a Studiopress Genesis v2.0 child theme. I have a small collection of plugins installed. I went to the New Campaign screen, entered a keyword but found I could not use the category box. I thought maybe I had a broken script running in the background so I tried on a different PC and a different browser. The categories didn't appear until I disabled the aforementioned plugin.

2. You said above that
You can search by ASIN if you specify the Browsenode/SearchIndex.
I can't see where to do this. If I click in the category box I see a menu of the main categories but I can't type text or numbers in the box and I can't drill down to specific subcategories.

How do I do this?

Please can you recommend another theme or themes similar to the Bazar Theme you used above?

1. Root Relative URLs: thanks for pointing this out. We will investigate but I'm 99% sure it means Root Relative URLs is not complying with the WordPress.org standards and is instead including JavaScript files the wrong way. I could be wrong, so I will investigate.

2. Search by ASIN/BrowseNode: to open a node and see the sub-nodes, click the triangle to the left of the node.

To search by ASIN enter it in the keywords box.

You have to select the node that contains the ASIN for it to work - in other words, you can't enter the ASIN for a book while having the category set to Electronics.

I'm using this one for a demo site and am loving it so far: WordPress - Sistina - Flat Multipurpose Shop Theme | ThemeForest

Also, look into Superstore, Shopster, Adamas, IDStore, and Kallyas, all on ThemeForest.

And Mystile from WooThemes (http://www.woothemes.com/products/mystile/) is free.

Don't forget about the default WordPress theme - 2012. It's simple, and it gets the job done. Never forget the point of your website is to get visitors to add the products to their cart and click over to Amazon, not to make them think "Wow this site is pretty."

Hi Louis,

What I'm finding with using the 2012 theme is that the products are not aligned with each other, each product is on its own.

Please how do I have the products in a grid like structure on the 2012 theme or any other theme?

Thanks.

OK, missed the obvious bit with the triangle

However, if I select, for example, Music I get a lot of sub categories that music relate but which are not the sub categories that I'm expecting to see e.g. those listed on Find all Browse Nodes in Music for Amazon.co.uk - FindBrowseNodes.com

Instead, the sub categories are CD collection types, not music genres

Bought this as soon as I saw it.

As an owner of previous software I know the quality and cutting edge technology that is put into these products.

Now to find a good theme to use. I'll check the one on this page (YIThemes) Other Recommendations?

Out of curiosity, is theBazar Shop theme for unlimited sites? I couldn't get info on that from them

Thanks

By default the products should display on the Shop page with a grid layout.

If not, mention this problem and send your WP admin login details to prosociate@soflyy.com and I'll look into it.

We're using Amazon's API to return the sub-nodes, so the ones we display are supposed to be the ones returned to us by Amazon. However, I would think FindBrowsenodes.com also uses Amazon's API, and they are showing different nodes, so we'll look into it and see if we can come up with a better way to drill down into categories/nodes.

Will definitely be getting this. As owner of both WPZon Builder and WP Allimport all I can say is that products from Soflyy are top notch and ahead of the times. Also the learning curve is minimal and support is very quick. Look forward to using this with WP Allimport.

Yes, but not until after 1.0 is released.

Hi, I just purchased the plugin yesterday. I am trying to find out where to insert my browsenodes. Using the example from the video at prosociate.com that shows searching for Sushi (as keyword) under Kitchen/Dining. If I want to use the Sushi browsenode (367163011) instead of the keyword, where do I put it (since not all the Sushi products have the 'sushi' keyword in the product title obviously).
