Report: Excellent. The master list of keywords was good but the keyword analysis was fantastic. Takes to while to take it all in, but you can definitely pin point some new potential keywords to use in your SEO. The best thing about the gold package is his personal recommendations for the 3 keywords. He identified 2 keywords that I had not really thought of. Not only does he identify but he writes a fairly comprehensive report and analysis on why these keywords would work. 10/10

Quality of Work: Very good. Well researched. 10/10

Would I recommend to others?: Yes, if you don't have time or resources to do the keyword research yourself. I have market samurai to do keyword research but I just didn't have time to learn how to use it and do my own reports. So even if you do have the tools, Derek can give you some more insight in KWs that you may have missed or may totally have never seen. If your good with keyword research already then you might not need this service unless you want someone to backup your findings.

Positives:
+ Fast service
+ Good communication
+ Excellent recommendations of top 3 keywords.

Negatives:
-Format of Master Keyword List (minor negative as it does not detract from quality of research)

Suggestions for improvement:
- The master of keywords is provided in an unformated, plain .csv file. It would be nice if it would have been presented in a formatted and structured Excel document so that its easier to interpret. You could also incorporates the notes inside that Excel document rather then a .txt file. That would make the service more 'professional'.
- Perhaps branch out into 'Adwords' keywords analysis in the future

I run a local insurance agency, but we can sell some products nationally. Is this too competitive a market to find keywords with only 50,000 competing pages? It seems my searches for local keywords don't have a great number of searches and/or they still have a high number of competing pages.

Let me know how much i would need to narrow down the insurance niche, be it only homeowners insurance in california or the city of irvine etc.

I am definitely interested and if you can save me more hours of keyword research for $35 than I am all in.

This might go against conventional IM wisdom, but NO niche is too competitive. True, people enter these large market niches and get eaten alive, but that's simply because they are targeting the wrong keywords.

With proper keyword research as the foundation for your campaign, you can effectively enter into, and profit from, any niche imaginable.

MY REVIEW: (As promised earlier)
This is a review based on the results provided by derek.ifocus. I purchased 3 Silver packages for 3 different product I sell. Here are my results:
REPORT FORMAT:
The email list was provided in an excel spreadsheet and broken down into the categories. An explanation document was sent along with the report to explain each of the different categories.
KEYWORD RESULTS:
Derek, actually found several words that I haven't really considered using due to the fact that I assumed they were too competitive and never really thought to completely research their potential. Derek, also found several other keywords that were not on my radar.
Package 1:
# of Keywords: 131
Value to me: Extremely Profitable Niches
Package 2:
# of Keywords: 42
Value to me: Varias Profitable Niches
Package 3:
# of Keywords: 119
Value to me: Somewhat Valuable
OVERALL RESULTS:
You should note that I have extensively researched the above keywords myself, so I was interested to see if Derek could come up with some other outside of the box ideas... he did. That alone is worth the money. I did find several new keyword phrases that hadn't been on my radar. So overall, it was well worth my investment. If you are new to keyword research - the list would have been a huge goldmine. But, if you're like me, and already have a great list; it will open your eyes to a few new options you might not have considered.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT:
Excellent! Derek is always quick to respond to emails or PM's. No problem there! Better than expected.
NEGATIVE/ PROBLEM:
The only problem I encountered was that the lists were provided back to me with worldwide search results. When I asked Derek about it he was very willing to redo the lists with US searches only. I actually was okay with the worldwide results-- they were only off by 20% or so. I didn't have him redo it for me, it was my mistake. So, if you are focussed in a specific country tell him up front. (really not a huge deal)

RECOMMENDATION:
If you're considering Derek's Silver package, I would say go for it! The small amount charged is well worth it. As Derek mentions, if you have the software you can do it yourself... but he will sure take the headache out, plus he'll give some new prospectives that you may not have thought about. I'm glad I did-- the results will be very profitable for me

Here's my review after I've used Derek's service:

Pros:

• Extensive keyword research done
• Personal recommendations
• Report sent is in a nice layout, instead of
  "plain vanilla" PDF
• Gives me a map of where I should use my
  site to target

Cons:

• Did not hit the 48 hours deadline but he
  did send an email to inform me he will
  finish it by the next day

So, essentially, Derek's service is an excellent
one. I've got zero complaints about it. The work
done is clearly accomplished by a trained professional
who knows what the heck he is doing. Also, actual
thought process of how to use SEO to improve my
site was involved. I'm pleased with that instead of
