How To Bump Your Thread Back To Top Of The List

We are able to bump threads back to the top again. If you would like to bump your thread back up here's how.

1. Wait till your thread drops off page 2. (See below)

2. You will see a text link at the bottom of your thread that says "Promote" (see pic below) Click on that text link and pay for the bump. Your thread will go to the top of the forum.

[EDIT] Please note anyone bumping threads before it reaches page three will have their threads locked and will be banned from the forum

Hi Allen......thanks for the changes.

I have just one confusion, please clarify if possible.

If someone puts a query at my WSO........and I make my reply accordingly.......will it count as 'bump' ?

Usually I reply after 5/6 others queries in a row......and of course if I have any offer, I do it.

Please tell us if it will be treated as bump or not.

Thanks for your time.

Same question too

much better if system like WSO IMHO
so if someone leave a post and op replied it's not going to bump
so safe for everyone

cheers,

I have the same question aswell. Would replying to someones question be considered as a bump?

And also, i want to know whether they only need to be questions. If someone for instance posts a review, can i reply by saying thanks? And similarly if i have some important news to share on the thread. Would that be considered as a bump?

Also what are the charges for bumping the thread?

Thanks

Replying to a question causes the post to come up in new posts but I don't think it actually bumps the thread within the Warrior for Hire section, does it? I've answered questions in my thread and it hasn't gone back to the top.

Soffell - yes, it is $20 for a bump.

Aww this is confusing!

So... Under what circumstances will the thread go to the top of the page again?

Besides paying $20 of coz...

Hope to clear some doubts here!

Yeah i would like to know that too. One of my customers recently made a post on my thread, but the thread didnt go back up. I mean it did, but it didnt go back to the top. It stayed below the new threads which were approved. I dont mind paying $20, since its good that it will stop people from bumping threads.

But i would like to know more details on how this system works, also Allen, wouldn't be waiting for the thread to goto the 3rd page be kinda a long waiting time? Ive noticed that people rarely get any orders once the thread goes to the 2nd page, so from the time the thread reaches from the 2nd to the 3rd page, that could lead people to lose some valuable business.

Its just my opinion. Would love to hear your comments on this.

As long as it takes to move in this section, I would think by the time you get to the end of page two, you would be getting enough repeat business that it wouldn't matter. At least, that's my goal. I've had some one time customers but most are coming back for more. Maybe your focus should be on that end of things until you can bump it? With enough repeat and referral customers, you may not need the bump by that point.

Alan,

I've got the following questions:

1. How much time does it require until a WSO is approved? (I have sent my WSO 7 hours ago and still no feedback!)
2. Will we be informed if a WSO doesn't get approved and why?

Thanks for your update!

If our thread reached page 3 then we dont have to pay $20 and we can just bump it??

Also $20 for launching a new WSO and $20 for a bump seems high to me...

Hi Allen,

Why is that some of the threads have not reach page 3 or even page 2 but they are able to get back to the top?

I am sorry but its quite confusing here and I can't wait to get my service thread back to top again. I don't mind the $20 though, just how should I do it.

Cheers.

Dear Allen,

I've just read the rules,
It is said that I CAN bump my thread, After it reaches the 3rd page.
But I read the Lianwei comment then I got confused.

Please clarify whether the threads should be on the 3rd page or 2nd page that are allowed to be bumped.

Thank you so much.

Best Wishes,
-Pixelcrafter-

I dont mind paying the $20 either, my thread is already on Page 2. The main importance to me is that my thread stays on the first page

Its kinda confusing if others are doing it, because i guess the rules state that the thread needs to go down to page 3?

I would appreciate some clarification on this topic.

Yep, I see others doing it too. They bump their threads before reaching page 3 and nothing happened to them?

Can we get clarification on this please Allen?

Hey guys, just to clarify. If you just post a reply to your thread to help someone, it will not bump you to the top position again, unlike the rest of the forum. It will stay in it's current position. I recently replied to a client and my thread stayed on page 3.

So don't feel like you have to sack customer service for fear of being banned. If you want to move to page one, pay up, sucka.

Otherwise, just focus on helping out your customers.

I hope this helps.

Hey Lee......It is $20 to put your advertisement on WSO board.

After your Thread reaches page 3......you can bump it buy paying $20.

And this is $37 to become the WAR ROOM MEMBER.

Hope it will help you. :-)

This doesn't make any sense...

There are a number of WSO's as compared to sections of the "warriors for hire" thread. So why do I still have to wait until it drops off of page 2 in that section?

Really doesn't seem fair to me.

i wish it could turn back in to the old system, getting bumped whenever a real person/different reply on my WFHire thread. not by the O.P when he update or post new reply to his own thread.

20 is like starting a new thread, and the rule is too strict for a person who doesnt bump his own thread. maybe like free or just $5.

just my concern Allen.
