Me: I’m a writer with 7 years of commercial copywriting experience. Right now, I work for a big corporation, but hate being a cog in the wheel. I would love to get to the point where I can say adios to the corporate idiots and set up my own shop.

How many words per page and what size font do you use?

Do you do all the formatting etc or just the writing?

Hi Spuds, thanks for the questions.

Words per page is around 200-300. Font size is 12.

My goal is to make the eBook readable; Shorter paragraphs, lots of headlines and bullets. Nothing turns a reader off like getting to a page with huge paragraphs and no white space. Of course, there will be time when big paragraphs are needed, but the headlines and bullets will benefit the skimmers and bring relief to the people who read it all the way through.

This price is just for the writing in Word format. You will need to add graphics and format to your liking. If you need that done, I would be happy to do that and send you a PDF as well, but it will be a little more.

Edit: I hired Peter for three ebooks but he was only able to deliver one. The ebook he did write for me was well written and I was looking forward to working with him again however for whatever reason, when the second book was due, he contacted me a day later to cancel. (Left me in a rather difficult position with a client since it was canceled a day AFTER its due date). I understand family problems, having kids of my own, but I would have appreciated a bit of notice, or even an offer to reschedule delivery but that didn't happen.

I wish you the best in 2010, Peter.. just remember, don't bite off more than you can chew, and keep in mind that many of us hire writers to work on projects that can not be abruptly canceled. I know you're new to writing and I can see your potential.. just get organized and tackle projects one at a time so that your clients can trust and rely on you.

The $3/page was a limited offer so that I could get some writing samples. I've got work for the next couple of weeks, but will be available to help you with your projects after that.
