So here is what I got:
Clean and logical PDF report on my niche with details on 10 keyprases worth fighting for including the full scoop on the competition and advice on available domains with each of the phrases. It also included steps on how to use the info for a n00b.
detailed spreadsheet, I actually got two of them, with all possible data on the key-phrases suggested. From competition point of view and search requests. It would take me about 8 hours to collect each of them myself.
Bonus report, actually the entire set of reports, for dog care need few very promising.

Thanks to everyone who used the Service last week. I've had nothing but positive response from people.

I think people found my service very useful compared to other Keyword searches as they get a competition analysis as part of the service.

Typically you get a list of 50-150 keywords, but all of these could have heavy competition. A few of the searches I have carried out for people has Identified lots of keywords available but Unfortunately Heavy competition.

If the customer had blindly decided to work on those keywords, they would have spent money on a website, time and money on promotion/articles etc. Only to find that the competition is that strong they cant rank highly.

I was asked this on PM the other day and thought I would post it to help others.

MY reply was

Well Typically with other services you will just get a low competition list of keywords.

For my service.

I try to provide 5 strong keywords with high searches and low competition. I then check those 5 keywords for strong competition levels based on competing back pages, onpage SEO, PR and domain age.

Depending on the niche I can go through upto 40 keywords to find the lowest competition highest search combination.

On top of this I provide keyword lists of anywhere between 50-300 keywords. These are typically focused on the best keywords I can find.

It depends on how difficult the Niche is.

I then package all this with any supporting information I find.
i.e. top competing sites list of backlinks.
typical location of searchers.
suggested ways to monetize
keywords to stay away from, due to high competition or relevance to your niche.


I also tailor the work depending on the customers requirements, be it adword campaigns, high search volume.

Dan is a great guy to work with. While not the cheapest service out there...you get what you pay for. Plus some more. Dan is willing to do custom projects for you. You may want to first get an overview of what keyword phrases are within your parameters. That could include search volume, commercial intent, number of keywords in title or any others. Then you should pick the keywords where you want a detailed top ten competitor analysis. That's what we did on numerous custom projects.

Hello all, I tried his Keyword list service at goldennuggetkeywords.com, and it's awesome. I've been working non-stop since I got the lists. I'm currently working on 8 sites now. One of which was (and still is) in position 4 on Bing.com in less than four hours. The lists are awesome. I don't know if you're like me or not, but most of the stuff I read in forums, and on sales pages on the internet, I take with a grain of sand, but this is one service that is well worth the money, and highly under-priced (in my opinion). I'm glad to see praise for Dan's work here. He has done fantastic work for me. Doing your own keyword research is fine; but for Pete's sake hiring someone to do additional researches has to be the best money you can spend on your site. Everything starts with a solid selection of your target searches... so spend $25 (or $100) dollars and get it handled. No guessing. Expert insight. It isn't about being able to use software, it is about another set of eyes and ways of thinking.

Dan does an excellent job, and you will be very happy if you work with him. Hire him once and I bet you'll do it again.

Within that I can recommend the lowest competition keywords available I have frequently pulled out golden nuggets in strong competition niches.

Worse case If we cant find any then at least you know they have all been taken and can focus on another project.

My view.

Kindle, still new technology, and keywords that are low searches now could be a lot bigger in the future.

Iphone, is well established and should provide a big enough search to find something.

By your question you know this is a tough but valuable niche to get into. I'm sure we will find something If we don't you know you can move onto finding a diifferent niche.
