If this happens then you can either completely lose all your valuable data or end up spending a lot of time and money paying someone to get in there to clean up the mess and secure your installation. You need to create a custom tables prefix to replace “wp_” and you also need to eliminate the standard “admin” administrator role. This in itself is beyond the scope of the average person.

I'm getting quite a few PM's with questions asking whether I can do "this or that" to customize the install etc. That's fine guys... PM's are fine,- but for the benefit of all thread visitors I'll just say that I can do virtually anything you could imagine with WordPress. If you have a specific task or purpose in mind and you have links to refer me to I'll let you know what's involved in terms of any extra work over and above the standard Optimum WordPress install.
Optimum WordPress basically ensures a totally secure installation with all the relevant plugins to make it function very smoothly and efficiently and attract optimum search engine attention. The idea is that you can then edit the standard pages that come with the setup and further tweek and fine tune your plugins to your own preferences if you so desired. If you find that further populating the blog/site in terms of content or graphics is either a challenge or just too time consuming then I'm more than happy to do it for you (at really affordable Warrior rates!).

@sheppo51; Yes,.. you can park the installation for up to 6 months from purchase if you wish. The Autoresponder can be added for free once you sign up (external service). There's a plugin that goes with the Autoresonder which I install for free. If you needed assistance setting up your autoresponder I could do that but would need to charge for the time involved,- but actually you should be able to do it yourself as its quite easy.
@ramohr; Yes I do design work as well, but that is a seperate service that I would give you a quote on depending on your requirements.

The Optimum WordPress installation is intended to be hosted via your own hosting setup. If you don't currently have a host setup then I'll discuss that with you via PM and can assist you with that if required. If your intentions with your blog are permanent then you really should be getting a host set up for the small monthly cost involved, but if you're not sure about the direction for your blog or site then I can assist you with some temporary hosting until you're ready to make a permanent connection.

If by "include" you mean "throw it in with the Optimum WordPress package" the answer is a polite "sorry,..no I can't".
If you mean can I work up your Wordpress site by implementing Keyword Diamonds with the install and focusing on your niche and creating killer keywords phrases to make the blog into a search engine magnet and powerful ranking website the answer is "yes, for sure".

The thing with Keyword Diamonds is that it's not simply a digital download,- it's primarily a hands on, skill based service that I perform personally myself. So at the $25 price I initially promoted at I really don't make any money because the projects take up a lot of my time to do properly (the only way I like to do them). There is a 10 page PDF report that comes with it that I've had rave reports about, but the rest of the work is individual hands on "digging for diamonds" shovel and pick work.

just sent you a PM. Yes I can install and set up Wishlist which as you may know isn't a free plugin at $99 but it is great. There are others I've used that are also really very good and only $40 to $50 so that's an option too.
Simplepress Forum is a free plugin (in basic format....which has great features) and I can install it too. Both membership and forum plugins usually take about 90 minutes each to install confirgure and then set up to suit so there is a cost factor. Anyway... I've sent a PM...get back to me when you're ready.

just read your sales page and the thread and I have some additional questions:

1. It is a custom wordpress installation, this is what I figured out on my own. As I´m using the standard wordpress versions for years, I would like to ask from where I can get my updates. The security issues with wordpress are normally from older versions, that sbdy. forgot to update (happened to me last year, while I was on a visa reneval trip to Hong Kong)... Pain in the ass.
2. Additional to point 1 I would like to know if the modifications are done in the core or via plugins.
3. You mentioned some SEO stuff. Is that done by plugins? I´m not very comfortable with installing to many plugins in my wordpress installations, because this will only slow it down.
4. Price seems to be on a per installation basis, right? I get the files, can install it on one domain and then can purchase another licence? If so can I order additional licences later?
5. When I´ve used one of your packages, can I sell my blog later or are there any restrictions?

Hey Sven,

firstly,.. sorry for the delayed response here. My email didn't notify me of the post you'd made for some reason.

Anyway,.. thanks for your questions,... now to your answers.

1. Optimum WordPress (OWP) is a custom install. We can install any version of WP but for obvious reasons we use the latest version as these have usually been upgraded by the WP guys for good reasons.
2. We DO NOT use Fantastico installs because they can make it very easy for hackers to use standard known Fantastico protocols (such as every database prefix starting with "wp_" and every administrator account using the name "Admin") it also installs uninstall files on the server which if left unprotected or removed from harm could be accessed)
3. Each OWP install uses a unique database table prefix which would be almost impossible to guess/hack. The main default administrator account does not use "Admin" and is unique to each blog owner.
4. The remaining security measures such as .htaccess, robots/crawler control, malicious code insertion scanning, etc are controled by plugins included with the OWP install.
5. There are 23 plugins with OWP. This is not a lot considering most decent interactive blogs and CMS sites have well over 30 (Michel Fortin had 36 on his CMS site last I checked...he had a whole article on it... and his site is always quick to load). One of the main digital hogs of the plugin world is All-in-one-SEO and Platinum-SEO which are both good plugins but we use a better one with better and simpler features that uses around 70% less lines of code than those others so that really helps a lot. One of the things that will slow down the loading of your pages is video and flash and even if you had 5 or 6 plugins you could experience poor page loads. It all depends on how you've got things set up. Plus,.. if you're running a really high traffic blog then use Supercache and customize the settings to suit your traffic.
6. The price for an OWP install is on a "per-install" basis. We hand control each install ourselves and have a pretty streamlined system in place to ensure a smooth and efficient process. We could and may automate it entirely at a later stage but for now we're finding that our clients, customers and affiliates would rather pay a slight premium and get it done right first time without getting their hands dirty so to speak.
7. If you sell your blog at any time you can and should sell it with OWP installed and there is no ongoing fee whatsoever. We do have other optional support services that many clients have us look after for them each month and they can opt out of them whenever they like.

In conclusion Sven,.. the current WF price for OWP is now $49 BUT in fact I will be releasing another killer special and very limited offer very soon (like next week at latest) in which OWP will be a main feature at a very good price (hint: much lower than $49 it is today). Sounds like a cool solution. I agree that tools like fantastico aren´t worth there efforts. I install all my wordpress blogs on my own and change prefixes and so on. Also have a firewall plugin (nice one, get at least two mails per week from it when sbdy. tried to hi-jack my wordpress installations) and a seo plugin called "wordpress SEO" (I still use a older version, but the new one is 99€ for unlimited installations [will consider that in future]).

IMHO not the number of WP plugins is a problem, but the number of database querries they produce. Also I have had some issues with 1&1 shared webspace (not my choice, but my customers love it [I am originally from Germany]), as they have not that much RAM available on shared hosting. PITA ;-)

Just bought some electric heating! We have about 5°C here (living in South-West China), but compared to Thailand (have a lot Thai-friends here) it is way to cold...

I am very new to all this. Just spent umpteen hours trying to find my way through the word press maze. So if I got the optimized word press, I would chose a nitch and then start adding content and getting links, etc. Are they ready after I get hosting and domain name? How much would it be to install a wprobot from lunatic? (I own one.)

Hi,
yes WordPress can be a bit daunting when you're just getting into it. Having said that, once it's all set up properly it's very easy to navigate and control and easy to pick it up and start doing amazing things with it.

Here's all you need to do to get started with Optimum WordPress (OWP) to start any blog, niche, or site.

1. Get yourself a host and a domain name (if you don't have a host and/or not sure which way to go I can help you with temporary or permanent hosting on my secure servers very inexpensively,..just PM me)
2. Point your DNS (Domain Name Servers) at your new host and then provide me with your ftp and cPanel details via the OWP activation form.
3. We do the install of OWP and you're ready to start adding content. The OWP install already has created an About page and a sample post and categories so all you need to do is edit the and you're rolling.

I personally use WP-Robot and thinks it's a terrific plugin. I can install it for no extra charge when I do your OWP install, but setting it up so that it will pull content and post to your various categories for the keywords you want would require your input (like,..what are you promoting?) and your clickbank and Amazon ID's. I can set that up for you but a separate fee of $15 would apply.

If I begin a campaign and it it not working, can i delete the content and start another with different domain. In other words is the owp a shell that houses my unique content regardless of what I add or delete?
How long can I continue to ask questions about my owp? Do you guarantee a response in certain time frame?
If the wprobot is installed on one owp can I use it on other applications. I have worked with google hot trends and blogs. Will it work for that?
Which do you think is better -- wprobot or senuke --- or are they for completely different purposes?

when you say a "campaign" I'm not sure whether you mean WP-robot content scraping campaign or the actual blog itself.

1. With WP Robot you can switch the campaigns on and off as required
2. With the basic installation you can use it for a new blog by either deleting existing content or by replicating the installation,.. which is quite fiddly and time consuming and you'd probably be better starting off fresh.
3. You have 30 days of full support after your OWP install is complete. Beyond that I have an optional membership support program that you could join.
4. You can use WP-Robot on as many installs as you like as far as I know (I certainly do )
5. I will always respond within 24 hours but often its just a few hours or even sooner if I'm online and see your message.
6. WP-Robot and SENuke are totally different products that do entirely different jobs.
