Under my professional name as 'Kenneth Jay' (my real name's Ken Williams) I have appeared on television, and radio, in feature films and corporate videos, and multitudinous times on stage including London's West End.

I have done extensive voice work on radio, talking books, TV documentary narration, computer games, and language courses. I have a healthy repertoire of accents and character voices. My native accent remains Canadian, but I can sound even more American than apple pie whenever required ;-).

(I usually earn well in excess of this)
Half day rate £252 (= over $400)
Full day rate £447 (= over $700)

(That works out to around $120 per hour!)
But I usually get paid much more than that. RECENT EXAMPLE : Just recently I was hired for ONE HOUR at a studio in North London to record 3 short quotations to be used in a multimedia museum presentation.
The fee was £250 (= approx $400)

My wife Jacqueline is a former actress who decided some years ago to go into dance instead, and became an accomplished tap dancer & teacher. But she has a great speaking voice, and loves doing recording work. Her natural British accent is lovely and ranges from efficient and businesslike (for IM ebooks) to very smooth and gentle and humorous (for poetry & children's stories). She claims to be 57 but no-one actually believes that - she looks and sounds more like 40.

(we've been married 33 years this year)

So yes, as of today she is now part of this service. I will be adding her voice samples to the sample website soon, but for now I can email them if anyone is seriously interested. Just wanted to drop by and leave a review.

I recently used Ken for my latest WSO which was about an hour of voice over of an 8,000 word long video product.

I'm in the early stages of creating an audio orientated website, and may be looking into your services at some point in the future, but for now, I wish you the best of luck.

No I don't have an affiliate program -- wouldn't really work with my kind of setup, where high volume sales is not the goal. Like say in my listing, there are only so many hours in the day, so when you're offering a one to one hands-on service like this, you just want to build up your client base to a manageable level and no more. In such circumstances, as long as you are offering good value, word of mouth is actually more effective that paid referral.
