eBooks Don't Have to Suck!

Over the years, eBooks have developed a bad reputation. So much, in fact, that many marketers have resorted to calling them something else: courses, guides, white papers, etc. But, semantics don't fix the underlying problem, which is that many eBooks look (and often read!) like a junior high school book report.

No wonder some consumers have grown to loathe them!

Stand out from the crowd by offering a quality eBook that is free from errors and looks professional.

Since around 1990, I have performed a variety of services for offline clients, from typing hand-written letters to transcription, from laying out newsletters to setting up books, from proofreading to copyediting. I have also provided ghostwriting services.

I can help you turn your written content into a quality product that will impress your subscribers and buyers. Here are the services that I offer.

EDITING
Perhaps you've written a solid report or eBook, but your writing skills are not up to par. I can assist you in polishing your written material.

Proofreading: $5.00 per 1000 words
Proofreading includes checking for typos, misspellings and other minor errors. This is a good option if your English skills are strong and you primarily need a second set of eyes to check your work.

Copyediting: $7.50 per 1000 words
Copyediting includes checking for typos, misspellings, grammatical errors and punctuation. It also includes any rewriting necessary for clarity or consistency. This is a good option if you're not an experienced writer or your English skills are not strong.

LAYOUT/FORMATTING
If you've written a great special report or eBook, but need some help making it look nice, I can help. I can take your .doc (or .rtf) file and convert it into a professional-looking PDF document. Special reports will include a functional table of contents while eBooks will include a working table of contents plus a functional index. All your links will be included in the final PDF as well.

Pricing is as follows:
Special Report (20 pages or less): $17
Small eBook (21-50 pages): $27
Medium eBook (51-100 pages): $47
Large eBook (over 100 pages): Contact me

You will need to provide any images or illustrations you want included in the finished product. If you want the cover page of your document to match your eCover, you will need to provide that artwork as well.

Special reports and eBooks will be designed for a 8.5" x 11" page size unless you specify a custom size.
